TURNED
In this new game mode, run and wreak havoc as a zombie, trying to kill the lone human in the map. Once you successfully kill the human, you respawn as the lone human. You only get points when you’re the human, so it’s important you fend off the hoard of zombies (i.e. the other players) for as long as possible!
why would they call one a mode and another a map if they are both modes?

under the "turned" category it clearly states that it is a game mode. so if Die Rise was a game mode why wouldn't they do the same?

Have you guys not looked at the front end on Xbox.. The map is call The Great Leap Forward.. Comparable to the map Green Run.. The mode is called Die Rise.. Comparable to Tranzit on Green Run.. It's right there in front of you already.
Die Rise is DEFINATELY the name of the map they said it like 10 times in the video (no I didn't count) and all of the ads on their website say so. I saw where it says Great Leap Forward on the leaderboards in the spot where they have the other map names but why would they say that is the name of the map if it isn't?
They also called Green Run TranZit multiple times before release. Heck, that's ALL they called it. People here had so many theories on what on earth "Green Run" was before the game's release.
In short, Treyarch simply uses the main game mode (Die Rise) to refer to their maps, instead of the actual map name (Great Leap Forward).

because of the return of our 4 characters which up until now have only been seen in tranzit mode and the return of build-able items which also have only been seen in tranzit mode. I think it is safe to assume tranzit mode will return on die rise. the question is what is the new mode of transportation in this mode? Rickshaw? Helicopter? or my personal theory of a subway train? any way you look at it the answer will be here in 2 short days.
TranZit is the name of the story-related map in Green Run, not a mode. They're won't be other maps in 'TranZit' mode because that doesn't exist. So you won't ever be playing Die Rise in TranZit mode.
I disagree green run is the map which is broken into parts i.e. the bus depot, the diner, farm and town. the modes that can be played in green run are survival grief and tranzit (and turned with the dlc). "tranzit" per say may not return but I think there will be a story based mode or an easter egg to encompass all parts of the die rise map. Why would they stop the story anyway? If our characters move on doesn't it stand to reason that the story behind their actions will too? The zombies story line is too deep for them to just move on without cause or reason. If they did the fans would go crazy. every dlc up until now has added something to the story why should this one be any different?

I have been wondering how tranzit will work or if it will even be available for this map because of the fact that it takes place in a skyscraper. hopefully it will be multiple buildings so that we can travel from one to the next. similar to green run where we ran (or took the bus)from site to site. also on a side note it would be cool if they used a subway train system for travel...these are just theories though.

when I read this I thought of something I read a while back. It is about china attempting to build the worlds tallest skyscraper in a record 90 days. Yet another large undertaking similar to the canal.

I think thats why they added survival modes with limited weapons and perks in order to make the game a little harder.like the one on the bus depot where there are no perks or pack a punch and on farm where there is no pack a punch this makes the game much harder especially on the bus depot cause you cant get jugs. like it says its a masochists dream!

If it is math than it would be a physics problem so I considered it and this is what I came up with... If e=mc2 and x= distance (in physics x is the symbol for distance) than your left with distance(x)divided by 2 times the mass of a given object(m) times energy (e)(which can not be found without the object's mass). which begs the question what is the object's mass and what distance did it travel?........sorry but I don't see this math theory going far unless you know the mass of the given object.

I just found another tie in to hollow earth on nuketown zombies. on the loading screen there is a gum wrapper that says "uhtli" but the beginning is cut off. there seems to be a picture of a zombie like figure on it as well as some sort of U.F.O in the picture... Maybe drilling into the underworld or coming up from it? I think the picture on the wrapper is Mictlantecuhtli who is the Aztec god of the underworld (hollow earth). here are some links to the pic of the load screen and a pic of Mictlantecuhtli and a link to the wiki page on Mictlantecuhtli. It seems that Mictlantecuhtli was one of only a few deities held to govern over all three types of souls identified by the Aztecs and his worship included the eating of human flesh....Maybe Richtofen stole this gods powers and now he controls the souls?

This makes me think that Stulinger is not all human. Because it says "The other voice cannot be heard by humans" and then "blue eyes". we all know blue eyes are only on the zombies when they are being controlled by Richtofen and Stulinger is the only one that can hear him. Stulinger claims he was probed by aliens. Maybe it was richtofen who captured him instead and did some experiments on him , or it could be that he has been eating the zombies like he talks about and that has caused some kind of change in him. or maybe richtofen did the experiments and now he has to eat the zombies to keep from changing.. Either way it brings up lots of questions about him. The coordinates are from the Nevada test site so it was someone in nuketown who sent the message. Maybe they are from the C.D.C. or C.I.A.. Since he said that their camp has split maybe the C.D.C and C.I.A. are taking different sides one for Richtofen and one for Maxis. These are just theories and as always in this story line one answer only produces a million questions.

yes I have been playing zombies since world at war and I have not missed a map pack or easter egg yet.

I have seen allot of theories on Atlantis and How Stulinger is linked to it. Let me say that this is by far the best one I could come up with.
Stulinger talks about a book that he reads at night that tells him about the conspiracies. I think the book he is reading is a book called "The Hollow Earth" by Dr. Raymond Bernard.(note that Stulinger also mentions the hollow earth several times)....I took this from the wiki page about it........... The Hollow Earth, exemplifies the idea of UFOs coming from inside the earth.Bernard argued that the inhabitants of Atlantis took refuge in the Earth's interior before the city was destroyed in great calamity.It was Atlanteans who piloted the flying machines known in ancient India as vimanas and in the modern world as flying saucers. After the US bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Bernard claimed, the Atlanteans became concerned that radioactive air might flow into the world's interior, and so some emerged in their flying saucers in an act of self-defense.An article by Martin Gardner revealed that Dr.Walter Siegmeister used the pseudonym `Bernard', but not until the publishing of Walter Kafton-Minkel's Subterranean Worlds: 100,000 years of dragons, dwarves, the dead, lost races & UFOs from inside the Earth........so there it is this ties in Hollow earth, Atlantis and U.F.O.'s which are all things stulinger talks about. What do you guys think?

Today I watch'd ngt's look back at Samule J. Stuhlenger's more interesting quotes and noticed a few odd quotes that I want to discuss here, the main one being about Atlantis..
"I bet that magic box from Atlantis REALY likes you!"
Bam! Right there! That proves that Samule has either been to, or thinks he's been to, Atlantis, and this is just my theory...
I think that TEDD's bus has gone on a worldwide tour sense the world ended... It started who knows where, whent to nuketown, then to elsewhere, eventualy ending up in "Atlantis"... (Let just assume misty and russman haven't been found yet)
Atlantis: where we meet Stuhlenger, my thought here is that "Atlantis" isn't REALLY Atlantis, but rather ATLANTA! And the fact Samule thinks he's been there is due to him being a 935, 601, or even an American 115 research test subject! Think about it, 935 comes in, takes Stuhlenger and inject's him with element 115 JUST LIKE TANK, NIKOLAI, TAKEO, AND SAMANTHIA!
From there he goes mad, and begins overthinking everything to the point it's all just a conspiracy, inorder to grip a hold onto reality! Like tank with his anger, Nikolai with his vodka, and takeo with his proverbs... Also, notice, Samule never gives a detailed description of his life, ever! Marelton remembers being layed off by the gov. And misty remembers the zombies coming after her father... But every quote by Samule about his past has either been about being probed, or an obvious lie about his past (yeah the place I grew up was FAR worce then this- when entering the town by bus). So I beleive his memory has deteriorated too!
Back to the point, in his last session of 115, the earth is hit and he becomes dazed in a chamber somewhere in Atlanta, it's flooded outside and there are billboards covering the area with a unfinished word: Atlant--
I suspect Atlanta will be a survival map like nuketown, where you play as a CDC agent or a CIA agent before the blast,
As an Easter egg, when you go to one place in the map you'll be able to hear Samule either grogging or in emmence pain.. But in a sealed off chamber away form the outside world.., meanwhile after round 25, the zombies eyes go blue and the nukes hit after the game ends... Leaving Samule alone...
Eventualy Samule will escape and stumble somewhere, likely to be picked up with marelton by TEDD.. However he has suffered much abuse from the 115, such as lack of memory, contact to richtofen, and the desire to eat flesh, or dairy products as well it seems.. (that just am be because he's hungry and near a dinner @ green run)
So now we have this crazed 115 subject who believes everything is apart of someone's grand scheme... And he believes he was in Atlantis from the signs...
That's my theory on Samule, what do you think?
I don't think so. Samuel also refers to big foot, aliens, and the world bank conspiracy. He is just nuts. Maybe some of what he says is true but This whole injected with 115 in atlantis theory is too messy. It is obvious that he has been eating zombies isn't it much more likely that he came into contact with 115 that way?

when I did the tower of babel I had to deal with this guy who cried about EVERYTHING. I put up with it because he was going along with the ee and I really wanted the achievement. He swore he invented the unbreakable turbine trap and the semtex glitch where you look down. I played along and acted like I believed his load of crap. I must have revived him 20 times. he did nothing but sit in his little glitch and if more than 1 zombie got by it he would go down and blame someone else.I probably gave him at least 50,000 points trying to get emp's and the whole time he complained.as soon as I got the achievement I cursed him up and down and called him out on his lies. needless to say he quit.Even though I got the achievement I still resent the fact that he got it too. WHAT A LITTLE BITCH!

I currently have a 242.3 kill/down ratio but I am still stuck on just a skull emblem anyone know why? I am a daily player and I have been to pretty high rounds.
