I know this isn't technically a strategy, but I found (solo and mp) that if you happen to get an insta kill at the end of the previous round then you can kill him with one shot. havent been on the boards for long so sorry if it's already common knowledge

I think the silloutte portrait is of Dr. Maxis.
The level really is Dr. Maxis's level. This is where he presented the results of his zombie experiments to the nazi party. Evidence of him being here is all over the place. All the radios and audio reels are done in his voice. Yet you never actually see him. If there is fifth character on this map, it is Dr. Maxis because his presence is definitely felt.
Also, remember the line Takeo says when he looks at the picture. Sorry if I screw up the line, but it goes something like:
"Maybe once was, is no more. But shall be again."
We all know that Dr. Maxis disappeared, and then came back in the Moon easter egg in a big way. If my theory is correct, then Takeo's line may have foreshadowed these events.
Also the desk in the projector room belonged to him (or at least the golden thing on the table has his name on)
I was actually looking at the portraits the other day and i thought the silouette on the black portrait looked pretty identical to richtofens one, that's just my opinion though

Nah, theres a few tapes... I think theres 5 (not sure though) but you put them in the machine in the labs, they're just audio reels

I agree with Hydro, but why not the dragunov? it's better than the L96....
From my experience the l98 is one hit kill a fair bit longer than the dragunov isnt it? I suppose as far as snipers go it's a lot more effective close range as it's semi-auto... Is that why you think it's better or and i missing something? I don't really use the snipers (other than the scavenger) very much though to be fair :lol:

lmao but really has anyone had it happen tht the teleporter doesnt open when your on moon?
The only thing i've ever had happen with the teleporter is the sky being the wrong way round :/
And that's one thing I do find a little bit odd about it. It's just kind of a weird coincedence that two of the glitches are of the astro zombie doing a moonwalk and another dance.And there is a specific way to make him get stuck in that crazy dance, so I lean towards glitch on that as well.
I kind of thought the moonwalk is a glitch because (correct me if im wrong) the gersch doesn't kill him but it pulls him towards it at least sometimes, so maybe because he's the first thing to not be killed by gersches his coding (not sure if that's the right word) is a bit flawed and sometimes it glitches not ending the gershes effects because it's 'waiting' to be killed first
that's just my theory though :lol:

I think the moonwalk is a glitch, but the standing st the spawn doing his little dance? im kind of leaning towards treyarch doing that just to mess with us, i'm pretty sure i've played a few times where he's just stood there like a tool for a while then when i've more or less fogotten about him he'll turn up right next to me like a massive trollface
can't be sure that it's not just that i've done something to make him respawn or if he just started moving again though

If any of you guys know of any other glitches I haven't mentioned here please post them so that I/anyone else can get a heads up and know what to expect?

if you're playing solo you don't even need max ammo, like the way I usually play it, just use a gun untill it's out then box it again, you end up with looads of points, and as long as you'rte doing laps the zombies are never a problem, especially in later rounds while using un-pap'd weapons

I was playing a bit of moon split screen yesterday, and started off the same way it does most times when i start it; the sky was the wrong way round (i.e it was space in no mans land and sunny on the moon) not that i'm complaining about that because it makes it a bit easier to see things on the moon, then around round 20 i threw a gersch and ended up with the astronaut backwards sprinting at me (I think a few people have mentioned this on the boards) Then everytime it spawned after that he was just standing there doing his little dance and not going anywhewre (again not complaining cause it kept him out of my way)
BUT then i heard that the excevator was breaching tunnel six, I thought it was a bit weird as it had already breached everywhere and i'd stopped them after they'd breached, so I ignored it because i wasn't really going near that side of the map at that point. So, at round 27 (furthest i've gotten so far) me and my brother were going through tunnel six, no vibration in the controller like there would be if there was an excavator there, and i couldnt see the excevator in the tunnel, not even any bits of earth flying out of the roof where the excevator would be, so we run through there and surprise surprise, be both down as if the excevator was there, im guessing it was a graphical glitch....but seriously WHAT THE HELL, treyarch needs to sort that out soon
So, basically i was wondering if this is an isolated incident or if anyone else has had this happen to them?
not sure if it makes a difference or not but i play black ops on ps3
edit: I was also in the process of doing the easter egg and after throwing the QED's at the plates while they're by quick revive they just dissapeared instead of moving to by the computer (not sure if that's another glitch or if they just go somewhere else first and im being a noob )
yet another edit: while i was hacking the green light things in the labs i ran out of time halfway through hacking the last one and the sounds that go with the hacker stayed on for the rest of the game

ok so i was playing CotD and just solo'd the egg, feelin proud so i was hanging around the ak74 area and noticed those little saucer things so i was all like "hmm maybe..." so went up held X and BWAAAAAAAAAAAA
theres 4 of them two in the AK area two just outside the speed cola hallway
if its already known i understand, if its not than this could be big
Aren't those just the fog horns you use in the multiplayer EE?

I've had 52 revives and the only down i had was the end of the game, got to round 26ish, but in all fairness one of the dudes had really bad lag and it sounded like the other two were little kids (and their top rounds were all under 10)

you could try the starter rooms guns challenge, you can pack a punch but you only get to use the olympia, m14 and the pistol. PaPing is fine.

maybe going a bit too simple here..but it's could just be something along the lines of 'watch your back'.

i've only played der reise a few times from the new map pack, but it used to hapen to me all the time in WAW but only in der reise...perhaps they didn't manage to completely fix whatever caused it the first time round?

I was just wondering, seeing as mule kick is now in all the maps, and that i know of i didn't download any patch for it to change; could treyarch maybe add something else, say some kind of easter egg type thing? probably just wishful thinking but you never know eh? :lol:

im not sure about the glitching side of it, but i've had a few times wherei've had crazy amounts of drops in a few matches in a row, not just slightly more but LOADS more pickups, i thought it could be something to do with the host of the match we had for the first three games, but we had the same thing with a different host, then it carried on for a bit in kino as well... i know it doesn't answer any questions, but just thought it was worth mentioning

I've recently been playing some Call of the Dead and came across two very interesting glitches.
Glitch 1: I was camping at the top of the ship (with a dragunov) by the power room and got blocked off from the zipline so I took the flinger. I got downed on the flinger and while i was flying through the air the view changed from the black and white view of a downed person to the color view of a normal person. When I landed instead of pulling the Mustang and Sallys out I had the Dragunov as a weapon for some reason.
Glitch 2: Playing multiplayer with randoms. I went down the slide to go and get Speed cola when a random decided to play the song at the exact same time. I bought it and realized that the perk didn't show up in the line of perks. Then I realized that I couldn't switch weapons at all or even throw my semtexs.
Really confused right now, has anyone ever had this happen to them?
That first one's happened to me a few times too, basically every time i've happened to down just as i'm using the flinger.

Im pretty sure you start hide and seek by doing the flytrap on der reise don't you? then there's the monkey in the furnace already that you have to shoot, along with the teddy in the broken window and the one in the cage.. from what i've seen throwing a monkey just give's you some comment from sam that doesn't seem to lead anywhere.
then again i could be wrong :lol:

You can't exactly choose your character in regular zombies though, so I don't see why you'd point not being able to chose your colour as a problem, and the length of rounds is just as much of a problem in regular zombies as well.
I've gotta be honest, i'm not a fan of DOA though, I mainly don't like it because I tend to confuse my guy with someone elses and trying to control them instead and I find that the colour scheme on some of the maps make a lone zombie zombie too hard to see every now and then (that's more because i dont play in HD though.
that being said I have managed to get to the mid thirties a few times, and I have to admit that it IS a lot harder than most people think, even when compared to other zombies maps, and before you start saying it's not look at your highest round on any zombies map and compare it to your record on DOA if it's not higher then don't say it's stupidly easy.
