  1. Thanks pal, I've not really seen a similar series for solo or co-op, but these tactics work just as well for any number of players. To all get the Bowie Knife/Sickle you just calculate how much you'd need to open all of the doors and each get the knife, then stay in the first room until you all have accumulated enough points together to split the cost of going to get it.

You might find this thread useful for that actually, it shows the cost of opening all of the doors to the knife in solo:

    http://www.callofdutyzombies.com/forum/ ... ie#p193705

You'd just add an extra 3000 to the points total needed. Normally 2-4 players should have enough points by round 5 ;)

I find that it is reallly hard to get the bowie knife early enough with 3-4 players for it to have any use. At least on der riese. The points are hard to come by.

  2. "So I logged on to xbl to play with that one guy who was bitching "God, What happened to this site, no one wants to play with me ....bla bla bla..."

    He did not show up."

    Haha who's that loser?

I mostly have bad memories. Most of the time the randoms are crap and kill me. Although I did get my record on Der Riese with 4 randoms, one quit and there were 3 left who were actually really good. Other than that it's always hard to get past round 15.

  3. Personally I get two power weapons. The first being the Wunderwaffe DG-2 or Awful Lawton. The second being Ray Gun (for the dogs). The third I get to be a point gun. It really doesn't matter what it is. I get Box guns any chance I get since they do more damage, but if I run out of ammo in the middle of a Round, I just grab the nearest wall gun. In Der Riese, that usually ends up being the FG42, Thompson, or STG-44.

I try to do this as well. I usually get the Thompson. Today I changed my strategy on Der Riese and tried training in the thompson room. It worked alright...but I was playing with randoms...they always screw up the train and cause me to die. I hate playing with randoms they suuuuuck. Anyone here up to play some Der Riese with me? I am fed up with crappy players and need some good ones to play with and show me new things. ATM my mic doesn't work but I'll still be able to hear you.

  4. Yea they normally don't go behind you, you need to circle around and train them if you have to. War room is bit tricky place for you to start training if you are starting out. I'd recommend walking not running for lower rounds. Also if possible get juggernog first. Good luck.

Yea it sure is a tight space. I think maybe I was running to much. Ièll try walking more.

  5. I think you'd need a more situation by situation based type list for what you're asking, Sazh. Though I do suggest, for your question to go with the Thompson on Der Riese. It's in a great position right after the trap and is wonderful in terms of points, ease of getting ammo and is an integral part of many strategies on Der Riese.

What's your purpose in getting an SMG on Der Riese? Is it part of your strategy or do you need it for earlier rounds? The Type 100 is better but it's location is not the most ideal. So Thompson for both would be my suggestion.

    Ehj~

I get an SMG as soon as I open the thompson room because dogs. I use this instead of the box for the first few rounds and try to get jugg. I do a strat where I teleport in the STG room and run through the thompson room drop down and go to the teleporter. Run this route as long as possible. Thats my strat so i usually get the thompson.

  6. Well I used their upgraded states mostly for comparison, because, well, not doing so is like comparing two babies to see which turned out to be a more successful adult. Unless you plan on going through the game, keeping a weapon, not upgrading it, which I would not advise, such a list would be a waste of time.

This is true although I was thinking more along the lines of the early rounds and/or if you keep the gun not upgraded so that the ammo is less.

  7. Don't open both barricades right away. If I were you, I would stay on first floor until I have 8000-10000 points (6-8 rounds), open all doors till bowie, turn on power and perhaps buy jugg if I have points left. Getting bowie and power is important part, after that it's just matter of surviving for another 30 seconds and you must have enough points for jugg. I always leave the barricades closed at all times, its easy for me to train like that. So yea stay in first room for bit longer, you can open mpl door and buy mpl. It's not that hard to survive without jugg till 6-7 rounds.

    Hope that helps.

Where is the bowie knife? How can you train with the barricades closed? That means you have to run up and down the stairs to get to the other side? I don't get how you can train without the barricades open.

If you are talking about co-op, its easy to train there without any problems. You don't have to use stairs you can just use yellow lighted area and area by mule kick/ Juggernog to make quick and tight circles before you start shooting.

For solo, I guess you can open the barricades and train in war room if you want. I know some people train on mule kick half of war room till high rounds with barricades closed for easy spawn. I wouldn't advice that to you unless you are very good at trains.

Bowie room is first room on left when you take the elevator down.

    Im talking solo.

I am not very good at trains, I'm quite noob.

I tried opening the barricades and training but it didn't work. They all doubled back and all of them were never behind me. i circled the whole war room about 10 and still nothing. ALl the zombs spawned in. They just wouldn't go behind me.
