  1. YOU ARE INSANE

    the bad kind of insane

    what is wrong with you?!

rescue a jewish family from under the floor boards?! are u high?

and and element with 3628 electrons floating around the nucleus of the atom?

learn to applied physics, that element could not exist, its too unstable

jewish god grants you a wish?!

no, just no, are you even jewish?!

how can you even make that sort of statement?

a thing that brings you too der riese?!

My opinion : what the f*ck is wrong with you, either you're on drugs or you're 7 years old

at first I was like "Hell yeah! nazi UFO!". But then I was like "I'm not even going to touch that map with a 21-foot cattle prod"

  2. well, the next zombie map could UTILIZE parts of Discovery or Project NOVA

there is a nazi conspiracy that the nazis have a base in the arctic where they develop UFOs(which use element 115 as propulsion)

personally, I'd like to see the inclusion of nazi UFOs in zombies

  3. ^^

not really much of a backstory, just a cheesy opening cutscene :D

also, the billions of light years away would be kinda extreme, it would be kinda boring to look out a window and see just blackness and stars

it would be kinda cool to have it in a Nazi UFO, but I think a cooler setting would be to be orbiting around Mars or Saturn, so you when you look out the window you see the planet itself in all of its glory!

elements from the underwater base in the last mission could be reused

and as for an explanation for how the zombies got there, since element 115 exposure creates zombies, and in all of the Nazi UFO conspiracies element 115 is the fuel for the UFO's propulsion system. Maybe a leak in the fuel supply zombified the crew?

but otherwise, cool idea man! :)

  4. so me and these three other guys were playing ascension and we ended up getting to round 23

what happened was that three of the guys died for various reason(don't get me fooled, these guys aren't noobs). So it ended up with me experiencing an ammo famine and a never ending horde

on the "never ending horde" note, I was serious. Every time I manage to kill all the zombies, like 60 more would pop out of nowhere and attempt to rape me. I literally PaP'd 2 guns in that single round. I managed to survive by camping at the landers

I finally died after 7 grueling minutes. The round just wouldn't end, could someone tell me if I'm just imagining things and the round really was supposed to be that long, or was there some sort of glitch that deleted the trigger that would end the round? :D

EDIT : sorry for the mix-up guys, but I just checked the leaderboard and for the time at the "last round time" was showing 17 min 26 seconds. So I guess that I was Rambo-ing it for 16-15 minutes?

  5. the following is basically what I want for zombies, it's a bit lengthy so I tried to put as many spaces in as possible to prevent eyeball hemorrhaging.

    Enjoy the read! :D

    Zombies :

Echolon Base - A soviet lunar outpost that is based on a mixture of the U.S army Project Horizon concept, and various other Lunar base plans

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Horizon

    http://www.astronautix.com/fam/lunbases.htm

this map should feature the return of the Lunar Lander that was seen in Ascension, and also the Space Monkeys will return(this time landing succesfully rather than crashing to the ground ;) ), the perks shall remain the same, the return of electric barriers will be seen in this map

the map layout should be partially underground, with the other component above ground, a lot of elements from the underwater submarine base in the last mission will be reused

the pack a punch should be located in the cargo area of a rocket that would normally be used to evacuate the base, to get to the rocket the player must this time activate a series of switches/buttons scattered around the map(5 to be precise)

Once activated, access to a depressurization chamber will be granted, it shall work on the same principle as the teleporter on Kino. The players will enter the chamber, put on their helmets and then make a brief lunar walk to the rocket, the players shall have about 20 seconds of oxygen to prevent camping.

new weapons should include the AK-47 and M60, as well as a new wonder weapon.

the C226 Laser : it should function similarly to the DG-2 because it instead of firing indefinitly it shall fire in burst that have infinite damage(kills quickly no matter what round), 5 bursts per battery and 15 in reserve. It will be about the size of a death machine and will be held in a similar fashion

    Backstory?

I don't really know what to say other than that Ascension was the cosmodrome from which all of the moon ops bound to Echolon Base flew.

The Soviet Union's research division were experimenting to weaponize element 115(almost wrote Nova there), since supplies of element 115 on Earth came only in the form of intact meteors, only the next logical step would be to start an expedition to the moon to collect its supplies of element 115(since the moon takes the hits of 90% of object headed for Earth, true fact). They first sent a teleportation device to set up a portal on the moon through which building materials should be ferried through. The team(Dempsey, Takeo, Nikolai, Richtofen) entered the teleporter located in the underground tunnel system of Ascension and arrived at Echolon base. Because of the constant exposure to Element 115, the staff became zombified

    Atmosphere :

sparse light through the corridors, lots of lab testing equipment, halls and such modeled very similarly to the interior of the ISS(international space station). But otherwise dark, and most importantly red(from backup generators) before main power switch is turned on.

the lab that would be used to study element 115 features gloveboxes(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glovebox), stereotypically large computers with that large amounts of blinking lights, microscopes, etc...

whole thing will be almost like the design in this picture http://exonome.com/fj/wmal/wmal_popsci.jpg

except without the obnoxious foam exterior and plant lab. Will have more external structures, an evacuation vehicle, and and underground complex too

remember, this is NOT a civilian complex, it is a MILITARY controlled outpost, meaning that there would obviously be weapons, defenses, and not

  6. nice timing, eh buddy?

the glitch has been patched, my guess is that they at first tried to make it impossible to do, but I guess that was too difficult so they just cause you to die

either way, it's a better effect to see some glitcher die by his own hand(you don't even get downed, you die instantly)

  7. you are indeed correct.

Takeo, Dempsey, and Nikolai were all test subjects of Group 935's. It is debatable who's test subjects they were, they could've been Richtofen's or Maxis's.

the test that were performed on them were Element 115 exposure

they have succeeded where countless others have been zombified, though they gained strength, they lost all specific memories.

  8. well excuse me Mr. I have Modelling tools

I was making a GUESS, on another forum we were discussing the same thing and that's the number we came up with

for your information, I did think before I typed

and writing "you're retarded" makes you look like an even bigger bigot than you already are

  9. soviet moon base that was built via an N-1 rocket(3 of which are seen on the loading screen for Ascension) sending a teleporter to to the moon to act as a permanent portal for building materials, equipment, and personnel

the characters would be Dempsey and the gang, they would've gotten there via the rocket on Ascension(let us say they didn't launch it to get to PaP), which was an experimental prototype that had an element 115 driven upper stage

    OR

it could be an American moon base(built the same way described above), the only difference would be that the characters would JFK and that crew, and they would've gotten there via the red teleporters in the Pentagon(let us say that they were linked to the moon base in case of nuclear war so the president can escape)

just one of my ideas :D

  10. if you go to the Board index, and go to map pack 2 theories. Go to the thread that says Map Pack 2 [use template], or something like that, and scroll down until you see my post.

this really should have gone in the Map Pack 2 theories subforum

  11. sorry if this is going to be vague, my mind is kinda burned out right now

    Afghan(not original, I know) -

Based on the Soviet War in Afghanistan(my dad participated in it btw), mountain path surrounded by mountains. Soviet BMPs standing on the road, in one of the surrounding hills is a cave/fortress stocked with ammo, bunks, prison cells, etc...

    Black Ops vs. Spetznaz

    NORAD -

Based on the headquarters of NORAD at Cheyenne Mountain, which takes place inside of a mountain(the base itself was built to survive a nuclear detonation). Spetznaz vs. Black Ops again.

    Spetznaz start in this room : http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... Center.jpg

    Black Ops in this area : http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... -Doors.jpg

Pentagon - this map as the name suggests is based on the Pentagon, the game would take place in the inner most pentagon of the building(the part with the courtyard in the middle)

parts of the planned but later scrapped version of the pentagon map could be reused by Treyarch

    Zombies :

  12. do you want to know why you found a power switch that looks just like the one in the zombies game mode?

because in-game models can be incredibly hard to create and even harder, to skin.

It saves treyarch weeks of time by using models and skins(in this case the power switch) in maps, for example all of the code and modeling and skinning for the rocket that you see in Ascension, that is ALL taken from the one on launch

    2. why would zombies be in Vietnam? provide a believable back story and I might just believe you

But without a back story, there is no reason why zombies would be set in Vietnam. There is no element 115 there(which created the zombies), Vietnam is a country that cant afford a rigorous secret weapons division, because that costs unmeasurable amounts of money which vietnam doesn't have

the US, Russia, and Nazi Germany DID have that kind of money at there disposal

  13. ok buddy, I knew about element 115 in Shi No Numa, as a matter of fact I played that map practically non-stop, I know every nook and cranny of that map.

the 3 radios that are activated in the main room

the radios in the other huts that play audio from Verruckt

that slip of paper in the doctor's quarters that says HARP(after Canada's HARP gun)

that book in the doctor's quarters that activates a zombie laugh

and the meteor outside the storage hut

    I could go on forever

Never have I said that I didn't know that it was in WaW, I was merely stating things about the N-1 rockets that were in the loading screen, and giving a brief explanation on what it is used for

    @AlphaSnake

Yes, I have read your post about the Nazi moon base, it was interesting

    BUT

the one that I had described was a Soviet moon base. That was constructed via materials ferried through a teleporter. Although the moon base concept is similar, it has many distinguishable differences

Is it possible the rockets in the load screen are A4-V2 rockets, German WW2 era rockets, at least that is what they look like to me.

I like your idea of a teleporter on the moon used to construct a base, but why would we need a rocket to get to the moon?

Maybe this is the rocket that takes the teleporter to the moon base and sparks off the zombie infestation.

Or the teleporter allready there is not functioning or is functioning but is dangerous to use so they need a rocket to get to the base.

:D looks like we think pretty much alike! I like your idea that an experimental teleporter would spark an outbreak at the base

speaking of moon bases, you guys should definitely check out these links
