  1. I once noticed that I had a 5 at the end of my points at one point on solo, too. My guess is that it has to do with the Half Off persistent upgrade, reviving someone, or the Jumping Jacks.

  2. Because there are so many persistent upgrades, it will be pretty difficult to figure out which one it was. Ask these questions:

Did you get a collateral headshot?

    Was an Insta-Kill active?

    Was a Double Points active?

    Was a Carpenter active?

Where there any other teammates that could have gotten an upgrade?

If none of these are a yes, there may be a new persistent upgrade. Not many players bother to use semtex, so it makes sense that this has not been found if it is new.

  3. Today I was playing a solo game on Die Rise (PS3), and early on I got all six perks. Even when I have all six perks, out of habit I kill the Jacks with 100% accuracy. Because of this, I still get a perk bottle, even if it is useless. However, every time I pick it up, I hear Richtofen's laugh. Anyone else getting this? Maybe it is just a way of confirming there are no more perks to be gained?

  4. I don't have any tallies at the moment, I've been on vacation for a while now. I'll test it on PS3 on Monday when I get back.

It might not be on ps3, but im not sure. And you don't get it your first try. Continue to buy ammo and sooner or later it will give you the ray gun. I heard that your next game though you can get the ray gun first try.

Then even better, we need to test it on the PS3. I'll do a first room challenge on Die Rise a few times, and I'll post results if it has not been fully understood by when I get back.

  5. I guarantee you that DLC 5 was a portion of code from World at War. Remember, Kino Der Toten was going to be a DLC. In all of the coding I have seen, most of it is scrap from old games. I really do want another all zombies DLC. We've only got three modes in zombies after all of the hype for new modes, and even then we only have 2 turned maps and 4 grief maps. I think another all zombies DLC is needed to add more maps.

  6. Think about it, anyone ever seen ANYBODY in bo2 keep and use the RPG, war machine? NOPE.

Have you ever seen anyone keep the Law, China Lake, or Panzershrek? Nope. It has nothing to do with PhD, they are just bad guns.

I think Treyarch should remove the persistent upgrade, and bring back the actual perk. I like be challenge of getting every perk in one game, and seeing the symbol for it on the HUD. It makes no sense to keep it away from us for so long then make it so easy to obtain later.

  7. You know, I wish we could "Unlock" the map exclusive guns by putting them in the Locker. So if you brought over an AN-94 from Die Rise, you could get it from the box in Tranzit.

Also, I think the Ballistic Knife will not go in the fridge either.

  8. I like going outside of the cafeteria in front of the acid trap. The shape of that area is a bit odd, so it will make it a bit tougher. If you find yourself redscreened you can always rush into the cafeteria and hit the acid trap.

  9. Honestly, I think the hostility comes between the gap of Knife/Shotgun players and Skull players. Those with a high rank may talk down to others, and the lower ranks start hating on the higher ranks because of it. A bad apple spoils the bunch. The first game after I got my knife rank people were already assuming I was a dislikable player. I simply said that I wasn't like that, and we were friendly towards each other the whole match.

The best thing to do is set an example for other players. When you get in a lobby, just say a friendly greeting. It usually will keep everyone happy.

  10. Unfortunately, neither the Crossbow nor the Ballistic Knife are stealth weapons. If you fire them, you will show up on radar. I think it's pretty lame, for how precise you have to be they should at least keep you off radar.

  11. I went from Prestige 3, Level 55 to Prestige 4, Level 41. I kind of want the earlier levels to take longer and the later levels to take less time. I think I've heard that in MW3 the last 10 levels were 50% of the XP you had to earn through the Prestige.

I don't think any of that is true.

But to stay on topic, I went from what I believe was prestige 7 level 39ish to prestige 8 level 11. Only played one night too! Hopefully going to play a little bit more tonight, but not too much as I have to work early tomorrow -_-

I just looked it up, I was mistaken.

In MW3, level 42 was 25% in, Level 59 was 50% in, and level 71 was 75% in. The last 21 levels take 50% of the XP that you need.
