  1. I'm not sure if anyone had brought this up yet, but in the cutscene it looks like Samantha is filming this cutscene on a handheld camera, notice how she puts it down. This kind of device did not exist until near modern times...

I don't think we've seen the last of these "handheld camera" custscenes. I think they may just be the backbone to the next series of maps... or storyline in a game... but one can only dream.

I was thinking that we were seeing out of the eyes of another doll. I don't think anyone can doubt zombies won't be back, it's pretty much the selling point of about 80% of the DLC, but how it will expand now beyond what we've seen is very interesting. Can't wait for Treyarch's next game.

  2. I like the idea that the rockets were full of 115. If Maxis really wanted to see what the consequences of a large-scale infection were, the Moon base fits in nicely with the plot.

Your idea is nicely thought out and considered, and hopefully you'll be posting up many more in the future.

  3. I don't understand how Alex got son. He was all messed up and creeped out the ladies that Weaver tried to hook up for him. Alex just wanted to be alone and now he has son?

People change, and Alex most likely lost some of that 'creepiness' when he killed those involved with Nova. Probably felt like a weight being lifted, and I'm sure he's attractive in some sense.

  4. That especially explains why Rictofen needed the Vril generator in order to access the Pyramid of Redemption on MOON. Maybe the alien voices he was hearing were the Vril-ya?

Basically. It is either the Vril-ya or Illuminati, there is enough evidence for both that it really just comes down to preference.

Pretty much, but it would be good to see less conspiracy and more historical theories. If Treyarch fully incorporate the historical theme then I think a lot more love will come for the game.

  5. I'm not overly scared by the stories, there's probably some rational explanation for the attacks. But that many incidents in just a month really is chilling, and makes you think about the number of ways human behavior can be turned almost completely.

(Shouldn't this be in a different section, not Black Ops II Zombies?)

  6. Strategy I've been using for a while is both people in the help room, with the door closed. Both sit at the far end from the box, under the window. One covers the windows, while the other (preferably with LMG etc.) covers the stairs / wall.

As long as both stay behind and to the right of the pillar closest to the window, all zombies (apart from window ones) will come to the right of the pillar, while all window zombies will stay to the left of the pillar.

Got to round 20ish with 3 people, all using Thompson ( ), and was easy as well as very fun. Could be good if people were organised and stuck to the strategy.

  7. No offence to anyone on this page, and it's not just you guys who do it.

One thing that really annoys me is when someone writes something and then someone else posts pretty much the same thing but in different words.

    E.G.:

LiamFTWinter - "That tweet means that the SUPER BOWL was over, not that they had finished the new game."

MrROFLWaffles - "The tweet was about the superbowl, and an image like that has no special relevance to BO or the CoD franchise whatsoever.."

In no way exclusive to CoDz, and I have great respect for you two guys, but this just annoys me ;)

Anyway, looking forward to Medal of Honor 2, even if it isn't Black Ops 2. Just wait until May/June and we'll have lots of info on that, probably teasers etc.

  8. Thanks dark and zombie, I have a vague recollection of you both too.

And congrats to carbon, he definitely deserves the 3ARC job, with the work and attention he's put into the zombies feature alone.

  9. Right, I don't know how to start this, so I'll just give some basic details.

Hello everyone, my name is Jonathan, Jon, Jonny or just about anything you think of that I might respond to. I'm 14 (*gasp*), from the UK (*bigger gasp*) and joined CoDz back in November '10.

I (used to) make lots of theoretical posts discussing things I'd found, and generally jumping to conclusions, but now I've calmed down a bit and am much more stable.

My main feeling is that if you don't understand anything I say, just ask, as it will make it much easier on everyone.

I left CoDz around July last year, as I had some real life issues to address. Now that that's all done, I'm back and ready to jump to conclusions about the next Treyarch game!

Now that you know some stuff about me, can I ask you something?

Whatever happened to Carbonfibah? - I realised that covert got admin, and I was wondering where Carbon got to, whether he was taking some time off or had just appointed another admin to help with the work.

  10. I go away for a month (or four), and all you guys got promoted :D. I must be bad luck or something... ;)

+ I see we still have a problem with spam-bots, I can remember a while ago when all I saw were advertisements for random stuff (that's the more polite things).

  11. The only reason these people are flaming you is because they are insulted by your higher intelligence. lol

Seriously though, just keep posting what you believe to be right, and anyone with any sense will research first and spam you later (though I hope not).

Everyone has to put up with flamers and spammers at some point, so just ride it out and hope they realise how they're not getting applause from the rest of us.

Spammers etc. make up only about 15% of CoDz population, and this is unstoppable. With fame comes users, and with users come undesirables. This is a fact of the internet, and one we all need to be aware of, as well as actively combatting against.

    Good luck anyways! ;)

  12. I read the thread title and I was expecting to see the first post be:

    "The Roof

    The Roof

    The Roof is on fire."

And then the next guy says

    "The Roof

    The Roof

    The Roof is on fire."

    Then somebody ELSE says

    "The Roof

    The Roof

    The Roof is on fire."

    Then someone says

"We don't need no water, let the motherf**ker burn."

And then I come in and say

    "Burn, motherf**ker. Burn."

That would have totally been a spontaneous and epic moment in the untold history of internet lolz.

Lost some of its charm now, but...

  13. How about these things:

On the way to the repair room when you walk through the curved hallway by the upstairs entrance to centrifuge room, there is a flashlight on the ground turned on. If you notice that there are colored particles floating around the flashlight and the beam of light from the flashlight. No other lights on this map including another identical flashlight in the centrifuge room have the colored particles floating around. I also have heard the howling wind in this area. Could we somehow need a gersh thrown there, perhaps power it up some more? Also in that same spot where the turret gun is at by centrifuge upstairs door, there is that spot in the corner where the zombies crawl out of the ground. There is a spotlight shining right on the spot they dig out of the ground for....which seems kind of odd. Right above that hole that they dig out of is a transistor on the side of the building that is sparking, which is fine, but to me it just seemed a little over done, it sparks a lot, which just seemed to me like it was odd.....then again I was trying to find odd things like this. Let me know your thoughts.

Nice im going to try this out.

any luck with any of that?

No I gave up when I saw the wall of text lol
