Can you accept donations from the UK or just the US? If it's possible I will try and get some funds together over the next month or so, so that I can finally give that donation I've been wanting to give for over a year

Yup, Paypal can take just about any kind of currency as far as I know. You can either give money in your own currency and have them convert it to American dollars, or you can just give a specific amount of American dollars and they will calculate the necessary money to give in your own currency. If for some reason you are unable to do that within the donation screen, you are more than welcome to just send it directly to my paypal account which is linked with my [email protected] email. :)

I have updated the button that is found at the bottom of the board index to redirect to the correct paypal account so that we will actually get any donations. So, if you would like to donate you can now donate via the bottom at the bottom of the forum. :)

The medals aren't working very well with the current forum theme and so because of that they've been delayed until we can get them working the way we would like. I've gotten in contact with our coder, but he has yet to get back to me. I'll shoot him another email and hopefully he'll be able to respond and help. Until we can get coding problems fixed we're at a standstill, unfortunately.

The medals are still requiring quite a bit of work to get working correctly with the forum, so it might be a little bit longer than expected till we can get them implemented. But no worries, we will make sure to get it out as soon as possible.

The medals were not being implemented. As stated above, it was only forum software that was being upgraded. And even that didn't work out quite right, so we will have to try it again later on.

The forum will be going down for a very short period of time later tonight in order to upgrade the forum software. It should only last just a few minutes, but we wanted to give warning in case it ends up taking longer than we thought.

The upgrade will be taking place around 9PM PST.

Software upgrades did not work properly, so they will have to be scheduled for another time.

I'm glad to see you guys noticed and are liking the fixes.

I also fixed various other broken images, though I'm not sure if I got all of them. I hope I did, but if not, I'm sure you guys will let me know.

Here's an idea that I had been playing around with.

Then we have blood splatter on to the window which forms around the words Call of Duty Zombies. It's extremely simplistic but I believe it would accurately get the point across.

It's also $80 for decent quality.... lol, also the CG involved in forming the words would be almost impossible to get to look right, or at least kind of natural/super-natural looking..

The blood splatter wouldn't be forming the words. The words would already be there, but hidden until the blood splatter hits the window. The blood would then flow around the words, thus showing their existence.

And yes, the footage does cost a bit of money, but it would be worth it.

Unfortuntaly the project file was created in CS5.5 so you wouldn't be able to open it if I PM'ed it to you Cov :/

I mean, getting rid of a few is alright because then there ARE too many colors, but too few is bad too. Limiting it to staff is too few.

I seriously think you are too hung up on the colors. That's all they are. Colors. Most other sites only have staff colors separate from general users. We just happened to get a little bit color happy here, and we're trying to tone it down.

I've done some After Effects work in the past and I could look into coming up with a more professional intro.

It doesn't really matter when you donate. You could donate now or after the medals are implemented. If you donated now, you would simply be grandfathered into whichever donation tier you qualify for. :)

The playdate that is scheduled for this upcoming Saturday will no longer take place at the proposed time of 12PM PST. Instead, we will be playing after the staff meeting which will be taking place at 11AM PST. We are unsure how long the meeting will last, but whenever it does end, that's when we will be able to have our playdate.

I don't think you truly understand that there is a reason behind taking stuff like that down. And if you actually read this thread all the way through, you would see that it's not a permanent solution to the problems that have risen up. It's just a temporary solution. Teams are NOT going away. We're just working to make them better for the site as a whole.

Trust me, all of this will be worked out. I promise. We're doing everything that we can to make the site a better place for everyone, and this is one of the things that we've decided to address. We have numerous things that we're working on, and as soon as these ideas continue to develop, we will let you all know what is going on.

While the present time might seem a little grim and dark, things WILL get better. I'm determined to see that they will get better. There's a light at the end of the tunnel, and we're working our way towards it in the best possible way. Just remember that the night is always darkest before the dawn.

The playdate that was originally planned for today is being postponed till Monday February 20th to better match the playdate description. However, if you would still like to get together to play some zombies today, I say go for it. Nothing wrong with some epic zombie slaying on a Saturday afternoon.

Also, while the playdate for Monday states that it is a U.S. playdate only, if anyone else from around the world happens to be available at the time of the playdate, feel free to join in. :)

While I appreciate the donations, I can't actually view them. I will talk to carbon and confirm the donations. Once I get full access to the site, I will be sure to replace the donation button with one that links to my paypal account so that I can actually view future donations. Until that point, just be patient until I can confirm the donations. Once that's done, I will add those who donated to the Donor group. :)
