Alright guys, this will all end up being discussed. If you seriously have other points that need to be made, please PM me or send me a message on Skype. This has gotten a little out of hand for what the original intent of the thread was supposed to be, and I'd like to get it back on target. I understand there was a lot of explaining of sides that needed to be done, but it could have been done more constructively and in a less degrading manner. 

Now, if you have other suggestions that you feel need to be discussed in our meetings, please post them here.

I dunno. Google has their game Ingress which is a massive augmented reality game using the environment around you to create various aspects of the game. It's pretty impressive actually. I could definitely see something like it being implemented in games to create maps and levels for the game.

Got a lot of really good stuff that I'm seeing in here. It'll be fun to discuss and consider.

Hey everyone. I figured I would let you all know about my upcoming absence. Some of you will have already known about this because I announced it a while ago, but I might as well explain it again.

For roughly the next 2 years I will be serving a religious mission for my church. I will be serving in the Everett Washington mission beginning this next month. I leave to enter the MTC, or the Missionary Training Center, next Tuesday July 31st. Even though I don't leave till next Tuesday, I will be following mission rules beginning this upcoming Sunday night. What that means is that after Sunday night I will no longer be able to get on the computer or my phone, play games, or watch TV/movies.

Ultimately, what this will affect is my capabilities as an admin for CoDz. Since I will have extremely limited computer access over the next 2 years, I won't be able to continue my work as an administrator here. As some of you may have noticed recently, we've made some staff changes to accommodate for my absence. Dan, aka Phxntxm, has taken my place alongside our previously standing admins Alpha and Lissa.

I will be leaving the care of the site in their hands, as well as in the hands of the rest of the staff. I trust them fully and I trust that you all will do the same for them.

I've come a long way in the 3 years that I've been here working for CoDz, and I can't help but thank all of you and all of the support you've given. You truly are a fantastic community and I love you all. I would be absolutely nothing without you and I feel I don't deserve some of the praise you might give.

I look forward to the time when I can come back to the site and see familiar names and friends. I look forward to seeing you all again and I hope the best for each and every one of you.

I know this site will still thrive without me, and I can't wait to see how far it will progress in the time that I'll be gone. I know that there are a lot of cool things in store for Zombies within the Call of Duty universe as well as a lot of really neat things coming your way in the universe of our relatively small CoDz forum/family, and I can not wait for you to see it all.

Guys, I don't think that the guy we see in the trailer with Woods is Menendez. I don't think they've actually shown us who Menendez is yet. Instead, I think the guy we see is Mason coming to visit Woods.

Anyway I was randomly thinking about this today, and I think I might have a possible solution for the whole 'what medals you want everyone else to see' thing.

The latest medal you're rewarded is shown, while the earliest medal is pushed back, right? So, for example, let's say I wanted the UOTM medal to be shown, but it's been pushed back because there is too many medals. I could just delete it, than have it re-awarded again, so it's pushed to the front of the group, and thus shown.

That's a possible solution, but lets say the latest medal you've been awarded is one that you don't want taking up space of another. This will lead to a lot of deleting and re-awarding, at least 5 times, just to so you can get that new medal out. This would be too much work for the staff, and frankly, they'd probably rather not do that for everyone. I know I'd get annoyed if I had to keep doing that all the time.

Anyway, something to think about.

Actually, the way that the medals are displayed on your mini-profile in posts is based upon the organization of the medal categories. So currently, the categories are as follows:

[*:24dhtkjw]No Man's Land
[*:24dhtkjw]Miscellaneous

The medals that are in a category closer to the top will have a higher chance of being displayed. For example, take a look at my medals:

I've got 6 medals. 1 Prestige, 4 Site Achievements, and 1 Miscellaneous. They are currently being displayed based upon which order the medal categories are ordered.

We've considered bringing our old chat back on the site, but I'm not quite sure if we've reached any sort of decision. You all will find out if we do happen to bring it back though. ;)

It's one of those ones that other users can nominate you for. So if other users see that you are very careful about grammar or you tend to correct other user's grammar, then, if they so choose, they can nominate you for the medal. :)

I think we're much closer this time to actually launching with something you'll all enjoy. There are just a few last and small tweaks to be made, then we can launch. There's also a few other small features we've thrown in which I think all of you will enjoy. Hopefully you're all as excited as I am.

I do have one quick question though. Would any of you be opposed to having the avatars and user information located on the right side of posts rather than on the left like how it is now?
