  1. Hey All, We've been doing a lot of thinking in the admin team recently, myself @Boom115 and @InfestLithium on how we continue to grow and utilise the talents that we have on the team. What do we want to achieve and what are our goals (more to come on this). Our YouTube channel and the content creators have been doing a fantastic job and we are greatful to them for the work they have been doing. This particular person has also been doing a great job with the moderation on the site, Discord, YouTube, Twitter etc. and as a result of this we have promoted @NaBrZHunterto t

  3. Thank you, Hells, Lenne, Boom, Infest. It is a distinct honor, that y’all would even have considered this in the first place. I’ve always looked up to y’all and the standards y’all set for this community, and I only hope that I will prove to be the same for others - keeping the CODZF spirit alive and well. I’m nothin without our fantastic media group, though, so here’s to a fantastic 2021 together, and as long as we have the guys we have, I can’t imagine how we could go too far wrong.

Posting as a draft to update ~ If you can read any of the graffiti or find the IRL images, please post your comment & I'll add it to the OP ~ Some of the large rectangular textures only use certain parts & the rest is faded out. I've included the complete texture rather than cutting it. ~ There is an ALAMY (Stock photos website) watermark on one of the textures meaning that some of the larger rectangular graffiti textures may just be IRL stock images. 11. We have made some minor permission changes to user groups, which impact the following user groups "guests" and "New Member" only and are now restricted from certain forums. New Members need to contribute a minimum of 5 posts before these sections open up, this is now in action. This is to drive more user registrations but mainly to drive more user interaction. Guests are restricted until they sign up and then make a minimum of 5 posts for these areas to open up.

  14. CALL OF DUTY - ApocalypZ Hello everyone, and I decided to take on a very ambitious project for my first series of posts onto this forum, being the fact that I want to "pitch" a hypothetical Zombies-only experience that would be the "main" way to experience Zombies as if it was redone similar to the concept of Warzone being the evolution of Blackout after the end of the Black Ops Cold War season. First things first, I want to start by getting the technical stuff out of the way before I can get to the fun stuff. WARNING: This first part is probabl

(Find the companion video here) Whispers in the Dark Despite only being one chapter into the Dark Aether Storyline, we have already heard repeated references to colossal entities that roam the umbral landscapes within the Dark Aether, leaving trails of pure destruction in their wake, all the while being worshipped by the comparatively meager lifeforms that now call these same planes home. To those who believe them deserving as reverence, these eldritch behemoths are known seemingly interchangeably as "Elder Gods" or "Overlords". For those who, like me, are enthusia

  16. If we really see the Aether as some kind of bipolar magnet, perhaps the souls that inhabit the physical bodies in the physical world are atrackted to one side (either dark or light) if it gets corrupted by a side. Like, if Jeb's mother got a dosis of "dark" energy, her soul will go more to the dark side. Perhaps that 115 contained more of the 'light' energy, and aetherium more 'dark' energy (although Aether's zombies were, of course, controlled by a being in the Dark Aether). It is also interesting that Christianity described the underworld as multiple 'stages': Purgatory, then Lim

Part 2: A lost tape in the archives (January-November, 1983) 1983 was considered one of the most dangerous years of history, with two nuclear superpowers being entangled in a Cold War with each other. Among the many spies involved in this international ‘Chess Game’ was a woman named Samantha Maxis. Deployed in the Bundesrepublik Deutschland, she was a connecting link between the CIA and the spies on the other side of the Iron Curtain. One of her ‘operatives’, Tatyana, was active in the Lubyanka, the KGB’s headquarters in Moscow. In 1983, several fanatic KGB’ers found something extr

  18. Hey, are you still working on this? Have been trying to figure out all sorts this afternoon although not trained in ciphers so having to learn how to do it all from scratch. The ADFGVX looks likely/promising, but having tried it with a few different keys which seemed plausible I can't think of anything else at the moment - tried using Victor, tried using the missing letters in Is Anybody Out There (if it is a case that they are missing letters, not that it's a scrambled message in itself) - and a few others. Same with the scrambled messages being a Vic cipher, based on the clue seems very like

  21. Yeah, I finally did complete it last night. And Im glad I'm done with it. The problem with the easter eggs since BO3, is they are far too difficult (Die Maschine notwithstanding, even though there are some unnecessarily difficult parts), and they have absolutely zero replay value. Why on earth would anyone do this easter egg more than once? There is no in game benefit. There is no reward. Maybe there will be a super EE after everything is all said and done? who knows. But The contrast between the BO1 and BO2 easter eggs, and everything since is stark. And I still hate that the EE end

  25. I'd argue the system needs to be better. I am nowhere near as good as I used to be 10+ years ago. Which is a problem because I don't seem to get a middleground. I especially noticed that with MW at launch and in an extreme case with the beta, the very first (couple) of game(s) I did ok and then boom, I was constantly in lobbies with peeps probably using custom controllers etc and who just were multiple times better than me. Just cause I got lucky and had a chopper (in MW) getting kills for me in a match before. That has started with BO2 mp as far as I can tell and ever since then I was ma

  26. I don't agree with this assessment of SBMM in this or any other COD. I have seen people claim they get these wild back and forth swings in lobby difficulties, but with 20-25 hours played now, I can confidently say that this is at best a gross exaggeration. SBMM is a good and necessary mechanic in public matches. Clearly there are business decisions at play here as well, and ATVI/Treyarch want to make as much money post launch as possible from battle pass sales and MTX sales in the store. In order to make the most money, you need to keep as many people as possible having fun, a

  37. The teddies there are completely different from the iconic one we know of. The rabbit plush in the Mystery Box is the closest evidence we have of Eddie which is arguable in it's own right since we don't have complete evidence backing that. While we see a rabbit plush in Revelations that one is pink and lankier than the one we see in Die Maschine, which is also blue with heavily demonic elements added to it. And I've heard people say that Eddie is holding a rabbit plush but I have yet to see this in any of his appearances

  40. As we have concluded in previor conversations, it appears the Shadowman had a similar role as Nyarlathotep being the humanoid messenger of Azatoth, and the Beast of Earth being the speaker of the grand Beast of the Abyss in Revelations, the Bible. He was the Harbinger of Doom, but what was Doom? These were the Elder Gods. I'm still perplexed by the fact the Dark Aether resembles a landscape with a whole array of species Linnaeus would love to classify, including picking order and all, instead of an energy realm beyond our perception. The Elder Gods have proven to be the top of the

  41. The Agonia fracture Maxis remains one of the mysterious topics of the story. Not only has whatever butterfly effect led to such a drasticalky altered universe changed the human technological advancement of this time, but Maxis is indeed very aware of Griffin Station and there is no sign of Richtofen. Zero Base is so vague, like it is a dimension to fragile to be sustained, whatever that means, and it is filled with highly-technological cyborg zombies (additional evidence for this Maxis originating from Agonia?). It is curious you bring up the idea that the Vril Sphere could've functioned as a

  42. For this theory, I recommend having a background knowledge of the Third Maxis theory, which I document in this thread. To recap, the theory goes that the Ludvig Maxis of the Agonia Fracture, the one who created S.O.P.H.I.A., abandoned the fracture at some point and created Zero Base, where he store artifacts from across dimensions. I'd like to push this theory further after doing some exploring in the map Revelations, and say he was pulling even more strings behind the scenes. There are many strange differences between the versions of maps seen in Revelations and their original cou

  43. This is a good topic @RadZakpak. I want to ponder on two things. The first is Maxis' secret research. After being sent to Der Riese, Maxis establishes Group 935 and brings scientists all over the world to its secret research projects. Maxis asks the scientists for absolute secrecy, yet hides secrets himself, including joining the Nazi cause, as well as his involvement with Monty: The original Maxis hides many truths regards the true nature of group 935, and Richtofen uses it to turn the organization on his own, behind Maxis, which has been working on Vril research:

Part 1: The First Breach (1938-1945) Nazi-Germany's official foundation of the secretive Uranverein (literally: the Uranium Club) was in April 1938, shortly after the discovery of nuclear fission. It's objective was to research and develop atomic weapons during the course of World War II. The Reichsdirector of the Nuclear Program was Kurt Diebner, a German nuclear physicist from that time. Several years later, in the midst of the second Great War, two German professors working in the field of nuclear and quantum physics, Dr. UlrichVogel and Dr. Kurtz, designed a particl

  48. After stewing on the campaign for a week, I am happy to say that I was wrong in my presumptions about this campaign. I think the marketing did it a massive disservice in more ways than one. It is incredible what Raven was able to do with the campaign under the circumstances. Even if it was not meant to be a Black Ops game in early stages, I can see that the final product fits so well into the series. The central theme of "there are no heroes" is upheld in this game like I never imagined possible. The moment I knew I was wrong about the game came to me in this cutscene:

  49. The way the story went in BO3 is needed to have much explaination. How could someone ever theorize the Apothicans, Keepers and all the mythical, fantasy stuff. Back in the days of BO1, things were theorized with real life stuff: Unit 731's secret Division 9, the Nazi project of Die Glocke, the mythos of Agartha and Vrill Ya and Tunguska's mysterious meteorite impact. You can say it is because of the theorists of BO1, who thought of all the mythical things, we now are in this fantasy story, and because of that the story is harder to theorize.

  50. Here's my opinion: I think it's great the way Blundell is doing it, but people need to keep looking into things the way they did back in the days of Zielinski. We are missing a lot of things because we don't think to look as deep as we did back then.
