I did some good old fashioned detective work and...

1938-24-06 = June 24, 1938; the date of a metor crash.

9:21 = Jeremiah 9:21

As they have said, this was found before, but I am glad you posted it because people seem to forget about it rather often. In my opinion, the 9:21 means the time the meteor fell, however I could be wrong and it may be the biblical verse. I haven't read that one before. Well done.

As for the story, I believe that this meteor, which landed in Pennsylvania, is where American got their supply of Element 115 to use for experimentation inside the country. Like Maxis said in a radio, "Our operatives in America have informed us that the US has a large supply of the element at the Nevada base, so time is of the essence if we are to stay ahead of them."
