  1. we still don't know what exactly is happening

One of the big problems wrong with Exo-Zombies right there. It's a 4 part story, and we're getting the final part soon, and yet nothing important has happened.

Outbreak at an Atlas Facility, four people survive. Said people are taken by Atlas to a town. Then Sentinel take them aboard a ship after killing one of the characters, and the remaining three try to escape.

That's all that has happened. It lacks the mystery and intrigue that the Treyarch Zombies storyline holds.

Anyway, that's just my opinion on the story.

Actually, it's more than that. It's pretty complicated.

What we know for sure is that:

    - Atlas was watching the four characters in the Outbreak map, they were testing them.

    - Oz originally worked for Sentinel, but was brainwashed by Atlas.

    - The four characters have a genetic mutation that prevents a 'permanent transformation'

    - The four characters can cure themselves and reverse an effect (maybe the zombification effect?)

    - Lennox shot Oz, Oz turned.

    - Lennox says that the four characters already died before.

    - After Sentinel took the characters, Atlas was hunting them and was protective of the characters.

    - The brainwashing gas used by atlas (Named GS7) leaked in the carrier map, that's why the characters are listening to Oz instead of the computer.

    - Lennox says Oz was the disease, the characters are the cure.

    - Oz is the cause (that rhymes) and he is the source of the infection, he's patient zero. OZ = Original Zombie

So.. Did atlas intentionally start the outbreak with Oz? Did they study the characters so they can have the cure and then sell it?

Nah, none of this is interesting to me personally.  The story isn't nearly as interesting or complex as Treyarch's storyline. Especially when the four characters who play a huge role in the Exo-Zombies story, are very boring flat characters

It would have served Raven better to include some type of radios in their maps, building up on the world like Treyarch did to get more people invested into the storyline.

You have to give them props though, this is not bad.. it's actually good.

  3. MANY people have speculated the many things about sledgehammer game's "Advanced warfare" that are bad, however these 7 top all others, let's begin.

7: There is no local grapple play-list. Grapple is my FAVORITE addition to the game, but because my Xbox right now is in a house with already shitty internet and is on wifi connecting from the other side of the house, I play local a lot so I have an (almost) fair chance at getting some kills. But alas, an AI was never built to comprehend the grapple feature and so I can not use it on local. Pity...

I like grapple but I don't play it a lot so I can't relate to that ol

6: Zombies is not on disc: If you're going to have the mode, at least have the decency to give it to the players who bought the game. Don't let us sit here and think exo survival is the best we'll get.

Didn't they make the zombie mode later because of the demand? I think you can buy discs with the zombie DLC with it, I've seen it somewhere.

5: Weapon imbalance: In truth I forgot to put this as number 3... But the weapons in AW are SO horribly balanced I can't even begin. The XGMs are OP, the EM1 is OP (with the right variant) sniping is somehow both better and worse then BO2, and worst of all is that blunderbuss weapon. WTF is that? ONE SHOT, 10 second reload? It doesn't even get that much range or spread!

XMGs and the EM1 are only good if you were playing with computers. I rarely see anyone using them online (well, maybe the EM1 if I was playing hardcore) so they're not really that powerful.. that blunderbuss weapon is horrible, though.

4:They're still using the SAME GOD-DAMN ENGINE: This is something that should have been solved by ghosts, but it wasn't, now it's the dawn of BO3 and the issue isn't resolved yet. Infinity ward will need to pull that rabbit out of their hat if they want ANYONE to buy Ghost's 2.

Don't think they're going to change the engine anytime soon..

3: Weapon Varients:  Take it from me: Weapons with a variant is always better then the base weapon. MEANING, you can't even bother using a basic weapon in a modern day of AW without everyone running over you. Players with weapons should always be balanced no matter how long one has played the game. Not to mention, some of them are TIMED. WTF is up with that? Did the hat you just get DISINTEGRATE after a day? WTF kind of hat is that?

They only need to take them out for ranked play, every play has a good weapon variant, at least that's what I think.

The timed clothing items are unnecessary and not that cool too so I never cared for them, but they don't ruin the game.

2: The pay-to-win system: It's one thing to charge for little DLC like gun camos and character model altercations, but the supply drop system is the most appaling thing ever. You pay money, REAL MONEY, for a few items that you do NOT know whats inside. You can NOT even pay for exactly what you want, you HAVE to gamble for it. Why? Money.

Bringing the ASDS is a genius business idea, but you can get them through leveling 20, 30, 40 and prestiging if you really don't want to pay for them, which in my opinion also is a good idea because it makes you play the game more.

1: Waste of DATA: This game is credited to be the most visually appealing COD known to date, and I'd agree with that, but what's NOT appealing is when you look away from the gameplay, and instead look at the MP and zombies experience. Those little details like one of the many goggle variants you can get, that takes up DATA, DATA THAT COULD BE SPENT ON REDUCING LAG BY SIMPLY NOT EXISTING. This is what I truly hate, yeah it's cool when a supply drop gives you a red barron cap, but in all reality, NO ONE cares about the color of the gun you have. This is why I'm so glad that treyarch decide to do away with pointless character customization, and instead focus on making the game run.... But then again I guess we build our own guns now don't we...

You have those inside inside your game's files and it's already downloaded so it doesn't take online data.. I think?

  4. They're definitely not perks and I think they'll just last a few seconds like power up drops.

Didn't they say zombies was getting a story AND multiplayer mode? What if the perks machines are MP exclusive? Meanwhile, Story Mode uses the gumball machines. Story mode could just be objective based and not necessarily round based. So you're given more health compared to MP so you don't need something like Jug and why random powerups are available instead. Maybe perks are actually progression based. The first couple objectives are relatively easy, making perks not really a necessity. The later objectives might require perks, but you should have already unlocked them so you can equip them. Has anyone considered that Shadows of Evil might not actually be like the Zombie mode we're used to? Seeing that the campaign is 4 player co-op, why not Zombies as well? The Giant and all DLC after that might be the Survival mode we know and love.

What universe did they announce that in?

unless I'm reading this wrong, ours.

    story.jpg

    Where is that from?

    It's from BO3's wikipedia page

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_of_Duty:_Black_Ops_III

The source leads to this http://www.polygon.com/2015/6/25/8848757/call-of-duty-black-ops-3-zombies-reveal

which doesn't mention anything about a story/multiplayer modes for the zombies game mode, though.

  5. I'd suggest (for the classes):

    - Use elites weapons, obviously Obsidian Steed, Speakeasy, Insanity etc if you have them

    - Foregrip for any weapon is essentially good for accuracy.

    - Don't put a secondary gun, you can always pick up weapons from dead enemies.

    - Perk 1: Low Profile for most game modes, Flak Jacket for hardpoint or domination. Perk 2: Fast Hands & Gung-Ho. Perk 3: Blast suppressor, hard wired if you play alot of domination and hate system hack.

    - Exo powers up are kinda not that good so use overtime. Semtex for lethal equipment.

    - Scorestreak really is up to you, maybe use the UAV since it gives you assist points.

Eventually just make sure you have great connection.. play more and you'll get better.. that kinda stuff.
