Well, looks like I'm gonna be that guy...

Can't say I'm completely excited for this. SoE looks like it may be promising, but I just can't get over how we're getting ANOTHER set of new characters. Shame, the N4 finally started to grow on me when Buried came out. Why not pick up where you left off? I doubt SoE will have much significance to the over-arching storyline, except maybe a reference or two. Also am surprised to see them selling Der Reise for THE THIRD TIME as DLC. Chances are we'll probably get some half-effort story explaining why the Origins 4 is there. Something something alternate universe colliding. Something something magic time teleporter we don't care enough to go into detail about it so make your own canon as you go.

Gameplay wise is up in the air. There probably won't be anything game changing about it if the trailer is enough to go by (Maybe TranZit scared the devs from taking big risks?). Sure they're hyping up The Giant as some revolutionary new spin on a classic map with the unique playthroughs and progression system talk but really at the end of the day it's just PR babble. Remember how TranZit was supposed to be an "epic zombie campaign" an such? At this point, all we can hope for is that gameplay wise they don't try to get TOO gimmicky like TranZit and Die Rise was.

All in all, I just hope they actually give some thought to the story this go round. The idea of a celeb cast alongside a map that's most likely going to have little significance to the storyline just isn't appealing. 

I like it. From the little I've seen, it doesn't look bad break already good features, so it's already okay in my book. Page loading can be faster though.

Adversary and Free Roam daily objectives are coming alongside heists. This is very good to hear. Any features that make Free Roam seem more alive/dynamic/exciting is a win in my book.

With all these delays and excuses, these Heists better give me the ability to stick up real life stores. I guess Payday 2 will have to relieve my heist itch for now.

LOL. I'm not trying to disrespect you or anything (I kinda like you to be honest) by laughing, but that idea is that last thing we need right now. We have a huge maturity issue on the forums on BOTH SIDES, so the like/dislike will devolve into people downvoting just because of the user or they disagree with the comment, no matter how high-effort and discussion-provoking it can be. Sorta like how Reddit is. Even if you keep it anonymous, people will take advantage of it. If you only let Modmins view it, that can be a bad idea as well considering people may not want to be "that guy" to oppose/disagree with a person in power.

ADULT SECTION OPINION

@ , I don't think it's a good idea. You gotta keep in mind, we're already on a website about a M-rated game series.  What will a special section do specifically to ward off "childish" posts? The only way I can see it being guaranteed adult discussions without any sort of shenanigans is by whitelisting members. If you have to go so far to have "adult" conversations, why not make a Skype/IRC chat or something? You can make all these special sections and rules all your want to ensure a "mature" discussion place, but at the end of the day, the community is responsible for its success. 

If you don't believe that the general community possesses the maturity to have intellectual discussions without devolving into arguements on places such as Deep Thought, making another section won't magically fix it.  

Feel free to point out any mistakes I have made or any disagreements you have about this post in a respectful manner.

What stops it meaning Die Rise or Buried or even MotD and Origins?

I've already checked them all, nothing new or even slightly changed, at least that I could find.

As I said, I am 200% sure it is the Bus on TranZit, which now fast-towards past stops if there are no players at that area.

I really doubt this one. 2 years in, and they made a hotfix just to speed up the Bus? TranZit's always been glitchy and weird, you probably got in a game where the all the stops happened to go by fast.

In all seriousness, it's nothing. He does this all the time. He is undoubtedly the master troll. Don't waste your time chasing nothing. There hasn't even been an update to the Black Ops II in months.

Jesus, Rockstar is not playing with these glitches/exploits. As soon as one gets known, they hotfix it. Something big must be coming next update to warrant such vigilance.

I like to keep it simple. I go with the flow either way in Pubs, but I'll consider a Wonder Weapon to be a fictional device with unique capabilites while already un-PAP'ed. Almost "alien" in technology I guess. For example, I consider the Jet Gun and Sliquifier to be Wonder Weps. I doubt a portable Jet Engine and a homemade weapon that somehow contains and spews liquid that makes chains of zombies chain up and EXPLODE is short of fictional, unique, and wondrous delight.

Don't dwell on semantics. Ideally Wonder Weapon should just be the "big" weapon of the map, but of course Treyarch won't come out and directly confirm it.

Without hype, there's no point in advertising your game. Hype is necessary and can even be good as it enhances your experience with the game, but you have to be careful with it. There is such a thing as too much hype. Watch_Dogs is the case and point. PC users who preordered had no idea they'd get the shaft in terms of optimization and DRM. Everyone was so excited for "GTA with Hacks" that they neglected the possibility that perhaps that game could possibly be lackluster. Regarding hype, Like my homie Tommy Angelo said at the end of Mafia 1,

"You know, I think it's important to keep a balance in things. Yeah, balance, that's the right word. Because the guy who wants too much risks losing absolutely everything. Of course, the guy who wants too little in life, might not get anything at all."

It does seem kinda weird that Naughty Dog would've no doubt had knowledge about the new consoles coming out soon, but still made a PS3 version. It's not like an established IP like GTA, which is in such high demand it would be plain stupid not to try and release before next-gen. I would've understood if it was their version of a last hurrah to the console, but they still released a PS4 version a year later. If anything, it should've been PS4 exclusive considering the lacking early lineup of games. To me personally, it seems like a way to expand audiences, get people to double dip, and maximize profits in one fell swoop.

I'm more worried about gaming "journalism" sites that do the 11/10 thing yet again for a game re-released in little more than a year with its noteworthy features just being a GOTY edition in 1080p 60 FPS.

I don't know why the forever crawlers were altered, especially when they were an iconic part of Zombies. Neo-crawlers are a hindrance, and made the already time-consuming side quests a chore.

I always seem to get the Ray Gun (Yay for Bank sucking any second thoughts out of rolling the box a lot) and it seems I rarely get the RPG if we're talking about across all maps in BO2.

They probably wanted a new Wonder Weapon for the map as per the norm, and throwing in the Winter's Howl beside it would probably throw balance off whack if people had TWO major Wonder Weapons. Notice how in the Verrukt Black Ops 1 remake, there's no major WW alongside the Winter's Howl.

I'm about as ignorant as they come when it comes to music, but when in doubt, I always play wrasslin' themes. Who wouldn't want to jam out to Real American while savin' the USA:

The N4 were screwed from the start. After the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers that was Moon, our first map in the new game does NOTHING to try and continue that storyline and instead casts us off with four new weird characters. What's worst, they don't even try to develop them at all. The side quests turn into "DO VAGUE STUFF FOR ME AND NOT HIM". Die Rise is just a continuation of this. There's no sort of character development to them nor any updates on the O4's situation, making it worse. MOTD while good pretty much was a waste in the big picture. Buried comes and then FINALLY we get some sort of character development to make them likeable. Even then, it left us with even more unanswered questions. DLC 4 gives us the return of the good ol' O4, although they are bland compared to their old selves. And nope, we get zero mention of N4. It's like a vicious cycle.

I liked Marlton, Abigail, Russman, and Samuel, but they got screwed over throughout the entire DLCs. We'd be lucky if Black Ops 3 even mentions them.

Season 2 Clementine. Melissa did a wonderful job in S1 of TWD, but she's falling flat in Season 2. I dunno if it's because she has to sound "older" for the timeskip, but her voice is so monotone it drives me up the wall. Even personality wise, it's not the best. Lee was influenced by the player, but at the same time he was his own person too in terms of his past and personality.  I know people love to go "muh feels" for S2, but it's hard to get super emotional when the main character sounds like a robot.

Personally, I thought the Xbox.com screeen was fake. Esepcially since the "Download" button is there.
 
However, now that Chr0m3 x MoDz found that line of code, I think it's real.
 
 
FYI Chr0m3 x MoDz has a very good reputation in the GTA V community, I don't think he'd go to this length just to troll loads of his fans.
