  1. Yeah, I really was all over the place. I'm trying the shotgun method. See what hits.. like where you are going with the numbers, although I couldn't speculate on their purpose. I believe I remember also seeing numbers in power. Right around the workbench and steps.
  2. Thank you very much. I will humbly admit I could be completely off with all of this. But if it sparks just a little bit of imaginative thought and progress, then I feel I have advanced our cause. I am extremely let down by the amount of venomous diatribe I have seen aimed towards others theories. Mainly because that approach causes others to be afraid to voice their ideas. What kind of world would we live in if everyone just shot down ideas, and no one was free to explore something farfetched?
  3. May I first start off by saying that the following theory comes by way of much thought and research on my part. Another important part of what has led me to believe what I do is by analyzing some of the posts made by the enigmatic "Bird Dog Dan". With that said, if you have no interest in speculation or plan to respond hastily like a child to what I'm about to say, then please stop reading now. Very well, as a long time fan of the zombies storyline, I felt it important to mention that before we analyze the parts of the machine we call Tranzit mode, we should think about the characters, and their progression to this point in the story. For the sake of a page long post, I will try to keep this as brief as possible. *The Illuminati create group 935. Dr.Maxis is appointed head of research. His assistant becomes Dr.Richtofen. *Richtofen turns on Maxis, locking him and his daughter, Samantha, in a room w/ a teleporter and the first hellhound (previously Sams dog fluffy) *Samantha ends up in Griffin Station on the Moon. Somehow she ends up in the black pyramid and is able to control the zombies now from a parallel dimension. *Richtofen then takes a trip to each map in BOps 1 collecting parts and makes his way to the moon. He then releases Samantha, and trades bodies with her so that he can control the zombies. As a last resort to save Earth from Richtofen, Maxis gets the players to blow it up. Fast forward to Green Run present day. 4 new characters, each I believe we will find serves a unique purpose. Afterall, we already know that Samuel is aligned with the voice of Richtofen. Allow me now to go into my theory. On either side of the Easter Egg, we are quite aware that power is a very important element to progressing. It would also seem there are many elements on the map that would lead us to believe that time is equally important. So lets take this oppurtunity to look at one of the clocks found in Green Run. Now then, lets not focus on the time itself so much as the positions of the hands. There are two indicated times on the non functioning clocks we come across. I couldn't get over the fact that we are looking at two symmetrical triangles. As I started looking into facts about the clocks themselves, I came across some really interesting things about the sun/moon when the clocks are shot at and some other really neat observations. But non more important then the first post I discovered by "Bird Dog Dan". In this post he stated This statement paired with the angles I was seeing in the clocks led me to do some looking into Stonehenge itself. Beyond a boring history lesson I did come to discover that scientists have found Stonehenge to be an absolute perfect work of geometry. If you want to know more about this, watch some vids on it, but for the sake of where I am going here, I just want to note that in looking over a picture of Stonehenge and how the geometry of it works is what got my gears turning with Green Run. This alone is obviously not enough though to solve the puzzle. So I started to analyze the quotes we hear from Maxis during his EE. I watched some vids of the TOB and there is three very important quotes that stood out to me. This is the first. "You have done well but we need yet more energy. This is the tip of what needs three sides. Now create the trichotomous system." You will hear this during the portion of the EE in which you place two turbines at the base. Maxis then indicates that you need more power, implying that the Avongrado must be lured underneath the obelisk. Lets just stop for a moment and take note of the word trichotomous that is used. A "trichotomous system" is defined as, In mathematics, the Law of Trichotomy states that every real number is either positive, negative, or zero. My first geometry reference. Not impressed, ok. Then lets stop to think about the Avogrado. We all know it's name now when we see it rise from the power station. But what do we know of the name. Well a brief Google search on the background of the real Avogrado will lead you to finding, In chemistry and physics, the Avogadro constant (symbols: L, NA) is defined as the number of constituent particles (usually atoms or molecules) in one mole of a given substance. It is a dimensionless number and has the value 6.02214129(27)×1023 mol−1. We have now introduced a third important to the mix. Power, time, and physics. Yeah, I know. I am probably boring you. Lets speed things up a bit. The second Maxis quote that struck me occurs after the obelisk tower is powered and two turbines are dropped by the lamp posts.. "Excellent, you have activated the 2 obtuse vertices of the scalene, quickly complete the tertiary node" Boom, yet again another geometry reference. Tertiary is a term used for indicating a third point. In this application, it is meant as the third point of a triangle. You may also find if you were so inclined to look it up that a node is defined as, In communication networks, a node (Latin nodus, ‘knot’) is a connection point, either a redistribution point or a communication endpoint (some terminal equipment). The definition of a node depends on the network and protocol layer referred to. A physical network node is an active electronic device that is attached to a network, and is capable of sending, receiving, or forwarding information over a communications channel. Ok stop. Go back and read that again. I find it no coincidence that directly beneath the tower is a Nav Card machine that no one knows how to use. I believe in this quote that Maxis is telling us that by completing this first triangle, that one of our next steps includes completing a node. Or in simpler terms, a communication endpoint. But even still, I found myself more confused by what I had found. To this point in the sequence, many other players had made no major discovery in completing these steps. So what was I missing? What more could there be? Then I noticed a very brief, and easy to miss quote in which if you are to attack the Avongrado, Maxis says, "Nien, Don't do that. We need the creatures energies. killing it will only set back your purpose." This has made me realize that the tower is not the only time we are going to need the unique power generating abilities of the Avongrado. Why else would we be told to keep it alive. So again I went back to analyzing every word of each quote, looking for something to jump out. And I realized something that shocks me no one else has noticed. In separate spoken quotes by Maxis and Richtofen, they refer to the "spire" and the "obelisk". The assumption by many is that these were one and the same. But if you were to look into what shapes each word describes, you would see that these are two very different structures. An "obelisk" is a structure that has four corners and culminates in a point. Quite obviously describing the tower in the cornfield. But what about a spire? A spire is used to describe the point of a building, most commonly as in the point of a church!! With some more vid watching and research, I have started to see videos of Avogrado climbing buildings in the town. I have also come across another Maxis quote I believe to back up my theory. This one has not been discovered in game but was located by going through the games audio files. “Yes, the spire is online! Now, if the other sites can be likewise and powered, then perhaps there is a chance to complete that which was begun so many years ago. Your help has been invaluable. Farewell.” Hmm. Ok. So if the obelisk and the spire now form two points generating power, than what he mean by "the other sites"? Ummm, what about going back to the station and turning on power? And then it hit me. I pulled a map off the net of Green Run. Specifically the one below.. Look closely at the locations of the tower, the church, and the power station. It is another triangle! Now, I don't believe this fan made map is accurate in its exact locations of these three spots. But the main reason I wanted to share this particular map is because it really made me notice something. I can not yet speak to the accuracy of any of this theory so far, but I can not help but notice where Nacht Der Untoten. In the back of a spooky cornfield lays a very familiar building with no real reason for its very existence in Green Run. Pair on top the rumors that players have heard a little girl laughing in the cornfield, and a person calling for help from behind a door in Nacht. So where am I going with this crazy talk you may ask? Lets rewind all the way back to the beginning of the story. Our protagonist and antagonist. Maxis vs. Richtofen. Does anyone out there reading this know what exactly they were commissioned to be doing for group 935 in the first place? Let me tell you, it was to create weapons. Wonder weapons to be specific. But more importantly one of their huge discoveries was the creation of the teleporter. Now what device have we seen on almost every zombies map? A teleporter! So here we are. For some reason in Green Run, WA. A place full of many references to power, time, and physics. What three components would one assume to be the most important in the functioning of a teleporter? It is my belief, and the culmination of this theory that Maxis is directing us to build the very thing he started building ages ago. So I went back to the Maxis quotes... “Yes, the spire is online! Now, if the other sites can be likewise and powered, then perhaps there is a chance to complete that which was begun so many years ago. Your help has been invaluable. Farewell.” This has only further convinced me that this is the direction we need to be going with this Easter Egg. I have studied Einsteins theory of time travel, and it is based largely on traveling point over an axis very similar to the triangle this theory would create. I also did some digging into Euclidean geometry. And one picture from Euclids famous book "Elements" stood out to me. This is the facts and speculation I now leave to you fellow zombie slayers. Please look into the pieces I have not. Find the stones I have been unable to turn. I believe there is much, mucg more even beyond this. Perhaps the Nav Card reader is to control the teleporter we have created. Maybe Nacht Der Untoten, which is located in the vortex of the triangle would reappear as the Nacht of the past? Possibly yielding more to be discovered?? Got out there and get them team. But I ask but one thing. If even one of the things I have speculated comes to be true, I would truly like to make it known that much of the spark in my imaginative research has come from the posts of "Bird Dog Dan". Many people on this forum have been quick to be hateful and dismissive of the things he says because of the cryptic nature in which they are presented. I for one thank you Dan. And if your speculation, as well as mine, proves to be true in any fashion, I can only hope those who chose to be hurtful and closed minded can enjoy their tasty slice of humble pie!
  4. Much as you created your account to help others, I have created mine to thank you Dan. I would also like to apologize on behalf of the many who so quickly bash your input on the assumption you are a troll without stopping to truly dissect what you have shared. So many quick to claim they have dug so deep, yet haven't looked outside the box. It's not the detail in the game that needs analyzed. It's the way you and the game have presented it. With that said, before the insipid troll talk begins about my post, allow me to get to brass tacks. First off, I'll admit i thought the poem that set this wheel in motion was certainly fraudulent. So as a fan of the series to this point, and likewise a fan of solving puzzles, I went back and fully engrossed myself in the characters and the story. As I followed the events of each map and each characters progression, I truly started to understand the importance of time.. So I then started analyzing all the input on this forum along with that of Reddit. That's when today it all made sense to me. Your mention of Stonehenge around the Bus Depot clock mixed with the wording of a Maxis quote came together perfectly. It shocks me now that no one has realized that a triangle is three dimensional. Or that the word spire relates directly to the point of a building, specifically a church. This is where I should also mention your very clever wording about how the trains "used to run". So as many others discredit your posts, I get what you are doing Bird Dog. And I appreciate that you have made me do the work in solving this riddle.
