  1. A lot of people prefer the Ray Gun, because if it's power (compared to other weapons later on) but if you want to mix things up a bit, the M72 LAW upgraded (M72 Anarchy) is pretty fun to use up until round 30.

PhD Flopper is AMAZING for monkeys because you aren't affected by splash damage.

  2. Ammo wise, I would say the AK-74u because it has the highest ammo capacity. But for me, it depends on the map. On Kino, I choose the M16 simply because of it's location. On Five, I upgrade the Stakeout, as I run around the war room and can pick up the ammo when I need it.

With Ascension, however, it depends on where you'll be. In the MUCH later rounds (+35) I Pack-a-punch the MP5k because of it's location; I can just pick up ammo when I run around PhD Flopper.

  3. Long story short...

I was Pack-a-Punching a weapon during a game of Ascension. While waiting for the upgrade, usually our zombie slaying heroes say some quotes about this and that.

But what really made my hair stand on end was what Richtoften says about the others, especially this quote about Nikolai:

"Or maybe what we did gave him his drinking problem. Oh well."

    16:50 - Dempsey

    16:57 - Nikolai

    17:04 - Takeo

Thanks to cjdog23 for the video!

This could mean that Richtoften did something to Takeo, Nikolai, and Dempsey, like put them under an experiment (as well as himself to possibly monitor them?).

What are your thoughts? Am I overreacting? Or is this another sneaky contribution about the WHOLE zombies storyline (specifically the Dreamland theory)? :?

  4. Let me cut to the chase:

After you achieve the Death Machines after releasing the voiceover, there are two possibilities after getting them. NextGenTactics has said that the death machines are the 'reward' and nothing can be achieved afterwards, and even debunked a few theories. But here's one:

    1) After getting the death machines, everyone goes and uses the nearest lunar lander. It could take you to an unknown place, because when you use them, you have an aerial view of Ascension. There are 4 lunar platforms, but a bit away from the map, in the distance, there is what appears to be a 5th lunar lander area. Maybe you need the Power Node Mystery completed to go to this mysterious place.

    2) Some say that the death machines can become Pack-a-Punched and turns into the 'Godfinger'. However, I have searched MANY different places, and cannot find any video evidence.

    3) If you look at this whole thing in a certain way, there is ties to Vorkuta. For example, there are 4 steps in the Power Node Mystery to achieve death machines. In Vorkuta, the fifth step is 'Raise hell!' and death machines are used by Alex Mason. This could be the fifth step, although it is Step 7 in the campaign mission. Step 8 is freedom, so could this be a reference to finally unveiling something about the entire zombie storyline, like Samantha being revealed or something about Gersch or Richtofen, an he mentions some questionable things during the course of a game.

I can't try any of these, as I don't have xbox, so can someone please debunk this for me?
