  1. I got thinking (dangerous, I know) about the idea of having more spin-off/fun maps in future zombies to come to keep the community occupied given the wait between Treyarch releases is now every 3rd year. These maps could either be related, or just maps that go between map packs as they have been doing these past couple seasons, and knowing 3arc, it would probably have some relation to what's going on or it may not, either way would be fine with me.

    Basically, take maps like Call of the Dead, Mob of the Dead or even Nuketown Zombies. Filler maps mostly, but they have some relevant EE's and references to when and what's going on. It would be nice if after 3arc's next season, they came out with more of these just to keep the community entertained. Wishful thinking probably, but I've seen posts here and there about new DLC or having more DLC to keep the fans entertained while we wait for the next "main" map and season to come out.

    Could even go a step further and borrow the idea yet again from Ghosts and being able to customize your character a bit. For maps like Nuketown, where you're just CIA or CDC agents, it would be refreshing to just be your own survivor in these "micro" fun maps.

    They don't even have to be this big elaborate map either. Say for example TranZit, and how you can play survival in each separate section of the map; That would be cool if there were even just micro DLC's for new Survival locations or "No Mans Land's" should we say for example. You have your main zombies DLC's that come with map packs, then Micro "Survival" maps thereafter just because.

  2. I love how you ignored BO2.  ^_^

    Maybe that's because Blops 2 sucks :P

    Ugh... very well!

    TranZit:

    Inside the Fire - Disturbed

    Die Rise:

    Alice in Chains - Frogs

    Mob of the Dead:

    Rusty Cage - Soundgarden

    Buried:

    Cowboys From Hell - Pantera

    And I actually like to switch my pick for Moon to this: (Why the hell I didn't think of it before I have no idea)

    Moon:

    Hangar 18 -Megadeth

    Origins:

    Counting Bodies... - A Perfect Circle

    And I wasn't sure which map to put this in, but it's an epic tune to listen to while actually playing zombies:

    Dead Bodies Everywhere - Korn But I think playing in Verruckt delivers a full effect

  3. Continued...

    Kasady shouted in pain, the voice of the German officer rang in her head like white noise, loud white noise. She felt her scarred palm burning, heating up the more she resisted;

    "Vunderful, isn't it?" He began, breaking from self-indulged cold chuckles and taking one last hit of his cigar. Kasady was sweating bullets, her head hung heavy in exhaustion. Chains and shackles were the only thing that kept her up-right.

    "To have unimaginable power at your fingertips. To embrace the power of the GODS!"

    The officer reached towards Kasady, gently lifting her head from under the chin; She grumbled with disgust, spitting at his cheek. His grin immediately turned to contained displeasure has he looked away.

    "Your grandfather wasn't the only one who kept our little secret from the world you know..."

    Kasady's eyes burst wide-open in shock, her mind emerged in a flashback:

    "Here you go, Kasady. For you." he began; "You're mother and father would want you to have this, it's been in the family for generations, I wanted to give it to you when the time was right"

    Wrapping my arms around him as I grinned from ear to ear, I did not acknowledge the false smile of my Grandfather's almost hopeless heart. He was hasty and eager to leave the shop, his shop that he'd usually spend day in and day out if Grandma would let him. The shop was slowly beginning to glow brighter as a long ebony vehicle slowly drove down the snowy streets, squeaking from a sudden halt as it arrived at Grandfather's shop. Never have I seen his face look so paranoid that night, I was confused and worried as he grabbed me by the arm, pulling me behind the counter.

    "Come with me darling, quickly!" He spoke quietly;

    "What is it, Grandfather?"

    "No time to explain dear"

    Heedlessly, he began to rummage through some drawers he kept locked behind the counter, eventually pulling out a rusty old chewing tobacco tin container of some kind, he studied it momentarily, his expression showed great uncertainty as he looked down at me;

    "Take this my dear, and do not open it no matter what, do you understand?" I nodded hesitantly with grief, nothing seem to ever worry my Grandfather. "Go out through the back and get in the car, I will be out there shortly" he assured.

    As I exited the back, I heard the small jingle of the bell as the front door opened, I caught only but a glimpse of two shadowed figures entering the shop, both of whom were dressed in German military uniforms. My childish curiousity got the best of me, as I made my way down the frosty steps, I stopped halfway as I heard what began as mutterings between the men and my Grandfather, evolved into a commotion. I pressed my small head and hands against the frozen door as I heard shouting from the main room.

    "Where is it, old man?" The man shouted with a thick German accent.

    "I don't know what you're talking about..."

    "Don't lie to me! I know its here somewhere, I can feel it!"

    "I swear I have no clue what you're looking for, now please, leave me be!"

    ...

    "Y-You... YOU KILLED HIM!!" Kasady screamed. Her fingers began to go white from gripping such tight fists, she vibrated with anger, she felt the burning feeling pulse through her body, adrenaline fueled her body.

    shocked as thoughts raced through her mind watching the officer slowly begin to grin coldly once more;

    "I'm afraid you have something I still need, my child... So I vill ask you once; hand over the stone."

    Kasady's face turned grim, her glare piercing the eyes of the officer;

    "Go to hell..."

    The officer smirked as he looked Kasady straight in the eyes,

    "Have it your way..."

    With one swift and stern swipe, the officer threw a fist in front of him;

    *CRACK!*

    Kasady watched in horror as James' eyes rolled in the back of his head, his neck snapping like a twig from thin air.

    ....

    The vibrant hum of the light on the wall balances the ambience of the silence within the cell alongside the repeated ticking of the wall clock. 1:15 PM. I've seen those numbers somewhere before. The tapping of heels on a hard floor approaches the door from outside, the door beeps and slides open. Several unfamiliar well armed guards walk in and stand aside;

    "Ms. Rhodes, please forgive our intrusion... our medical specialist would like to see you;"

    The woman, dressed all white also stood aside as she pointed towards the door with a nod; in followed another woman dressed similarly; but with unusual curly hair that was blue.

    "Hello Kasady..."

    Kasady, still disoriented squinted as she entered the room; she pondered for a moment;

    "T-Tia?"

  4. So I got thinking after a couple rounds of zombies the other day and and thought of an idea. And as I'm typing this I realized it could either be a simple great idea, or I'll just sound completely retarded because it already exists and I'm out of the loop, OR someone beat me to it.

    But ya know what? Yolo.

    One of the things I still to this day don't know how some of you do it is reach these ridiculously high rounds. Not because I can't reach them myself, but because after mid-twenties or so, I've got just about everything you could need to survive and find myself dying of boredom. There's nothing else to do!

    Come next zombies season, I actually think there's a couple things Treyarch could look up to from Extinction, and one of those ideas are the round-by-round challenges during each wave/round. I would be on top of zombies more often if Treyarch not only incorporated something similar, but also had daily and weekly online challenges to go along with it for us to reach for. Similar to some other online MP games, which includes even CoD I believe. (It's honestly been forever since I've played MP so I have no idea)

    Whether we get rewarded for daily or weekly challenges I could care less about even, but it would be cool if some in-game bonuses were unlocked upon doing so. Such as starting with a specific perk, weapon, or power-up for one game for example. (Much like Mass Effect 3's MP)

  5. Goddammit Jay. Change your name back.

    I'll admit though, stroking my schwang DOES gets tiresome. Guess why that's why I actually have been playing a couple rounds of zombies more often lately. I've missed playing with folks. Too bad you no longer have Xbox. I might have actually joined your this time.

  6. Continued...

    It is quiet, I still remain inside the small cell, lying on relatively soft twin bed. This was no ordinary cell. Where am I?

    "Doctor, we've completed diagnostics on Subject 6- er... Ms. Rhodes."

    "Excellent. Is she stable? Will she make a full recovery?"

    "Her vitals are normal and she has already recovered extraordinarily quick given the trauma she's been through;"

    "...But?"

    "But it's still unclear how stable her... condition is. Her telepathic ability originates from Element 115, but is driven almost purely by emotion, Typically anger."

    "Yeah... that's an understatement..."

    "Ma'am?"

    "(ahem) How soon can we get her in for testing?"

    "I imagine the shock alone is going to make her unstable. We'd be wise to break her in slowly"

    "You're right. I'll go speak with her now. Thank you, Doctor."

    "Be careful ma'am..."

    .....

    Kasady felt weak, her stomach felt as though it were going to devour itself. Her vision slowly recovered from a blur; the room was dark, cold and gloomy. Nothing but stone and brick. A small lantern hanging on the wall gave off a suddle, ambient light. She quickly came to realize she was suspended by iron chains and shackles. Several soldiers stood armed and at attention near the door; Germans...

    "Ah! I see your awake child, I vas beginning to worry I may have been a bit too hard on you..." one of them spoke, his back 3/4 turned towards Kasady as he let out a cloud of smoke from his delicate cigar, looking outside at the stormy skies. He turned, a devilishly grin and soulless eyes met Kasady's;

    "But I'm glad to see I was wrong."

    Kasady begin to struggle with what little energy she had left;

    "GAH! Let me go!"

    "Ugh... K-Kasady..."

    Kasady's attention swiftly took a hard left;

    "JAMES!?" Kasady cried.

    Blood slowly dripped off James' sagged head and face, he could barely move, yet alone speak.

    "K-Kasady... I..."

    Kasady began to struggle even more;

    "Now now, there's no need to get upset, child. We're all friends here!" The officer began,

    "Go to hell you son of a bitch!" Kasady shouted, still tugging on the chains.

    "I like this one. She has a temper..." He spoke coldly as he took another hit from his cigar.

    "So tell me my dear, what brings you all the way out here? You're a long ways from home now, aren't we?" He spoke as he approached James;

    "Touch him and I'll kill you!" Kasady grumbled, glaring at the officer. The officer chuckled to himself;

    "Aw but then who vould tell you what it is you've been looking for out here? You've stumbled into something grand my dear!"

    "Great... suspended by chains in a damn German facility and we're going to listen to this nazi bastard ramble before he probably kills us anyways. James was right. We should've turned back when we had the chance...this is all my fault"

    "Now why vould you do that, child?" The officer began with a smirk as he lifted James' chin, glancing over at Kasady. Kasady looked confused;

    The officer pulled his hand back, turning towards the other German soldiers, gesturing one to bring him something. He turned again, walking towards Kasady with a small round tin container in hand; Kasady's eyes widened in shock;

    "Isn't this what you came looking for? Answers?" He said devilishly. Opening the container slowly, a bright orange light beamed from the cracks in the opening of the lid; it was identical.

    "How... where?!"

    "Which question shall I answer first, child? Hahahahaha!

  7. Lol everything needs a history to you people. But with a response like that, I might be called a Realist or something of the sorts :P

    Still, if you ask me, I honestly just find it to be nothing more than an "tweaked" Ray Gun made purely because the Ray Gun has been there since day one and always remained the same, classic wonder weapon. So why not have a little fun with it and make another "upgraded" model?

    As far as keeping it in the mix of weapons to come, sure... why not? Although I feel as though having both the original Ray Gun and the Mark II both just available in the box kinda takes away from both of them. It would be nice the Mark II was one of the variations of an original upgraded Ray Gun or just available via EE or rare/expensive wall weapon.

  8. Chapter Four: Inception

    The room is small and plain and built strong, like a prison. Voices are heard outside the door;

    "Subject 601 has shown remarkable resiliency to the effects of Element 115, how she-"

    "It's Kasady, Doctor... her name is Kasady"

    "Doctor?"

    "Leave us"

    "But Doctor I-"

    "Now... And bring her something to eat please"

    "Y-yes Doctor"

    There is a pause in communication as the sound of footsteps tapping down a tiled floor are heard echoing into a distance;

    "We're here to help, Kasady... I don't know if you remember me but... look, we're trying to help. We just need to make sure you're stable. I know this is all strange to you but... Kasady, we can help you. I can help you. Please remember me..."

    ....

    The sound of thunder echoed through the forest as a light rain slowly became more aggressive, the motion of the wind smashing into the trees sounded like thousands of tacs dropping onto a hard floor. German chatter and shouting pierced through the brewing storm...

    Kasady slowly began to regain consciousness, her eyes felt heavy, blinking very slowly and only lifting half her eye lid at a time. She made out the muddy ground and her feet being dragged behind her;

    "J-James?"

    "She's regaining consciousness!"

    "Quickly, get her to zee cell!"

    Kasady, struggling to tilt her head, caught a glimpse of the facility; the sound of the megaphone roared through the sky.

    "Welcome to Der Riese, my dear."

  9. I would love to pick up where we last left off in BO1.

    MoonStoryPage.jpg

    (really GRILL?  the moon loading screen AGAIN?)

    To me, what we see here in this moon loading screen - never actually happened.  We went from Shangri La to Area 51 and then used the teleporter to bring us to the moon.  At NO POINT did we access a flying temple/vimana from Shangri La and pilot it to the moon.

    Throw in the fact that whoever piloting the vimana knew that they were going to the moon (because they were wearing spacesuits) and this comes off more and more as not a loading screen for the moon that we know, but a loading screen for moon that occurs in a different timeline, or dimension.

    What I'm suggesting here is that the next game could pick up with literally the N4 trying to reverse the events of the O4.  At the end of the ORIGINS cutscene, Samantha says that her dad has a plan.  Perhaps that is to have the N4 use the time bomb, go back to Shangri La, pilot the Vimana to the Moon and somehow circumvent Ricthofen taking control OR get Richtofen out of the MPD.

    tl:dr - show us what happens directly after the events of Moon.  Have the N4 alter time, and it turns out that in the Moon loading screen we are actually seeing the N4 re-writing history/thwarting Richtofen's "grand plan"

    That's what I want treyarch to do with it!!!

    That's certainly a doable idea that would eventually tie both groups together. And just by going off the Moon loading screen, you could say it suggests it's still when Samantha is living large (heh) and in charge at that point and that the new crew found and alternative way to the moon. Hypothetically, the N4 could potentially stop Richtofen from taking control, and even "free" Samantha from being trapped. Thus, ending zombies, use the teleporter back to Area 51 and everyone lives happily ever after? :D

  10. Apologies if this is familiar to any of the perks already posted, I've had this idea for a long time now:

    Title: Sarsaparilla Surprise

    Cost: 20,000

    Effect: This perk has no definite outcome and is completely random. Not all effects are positive either, you're just as likely to have a negative effect as you are a postive one, and it comes at a high cost; gamble your points for this perk for ONE of these effects:

    - Strengthens/increases effect of previous perk purchased (Pro-perks, anyone?)

    - Previous perk purchased is no longer effective

    - All items are 50% off (box included)

    - Resets points to 0

    - All current and purchased guns are upgraded by default

    - Removes secondary weapon option from player

    - Special melee weapon has permanent insta-kill

    - Zombies have more health

    - Increased maximum ammunition (grenades included)

    - Weapon damage is decreased

    Appearance: White soda, Label and cap are black and orange (black border w/ white lettering, center is orange w/ black pentagon perk logo in center, white question mark as logo)

  11. Continued:

    It was a oddly quiet yet peaceful morning, the marines continued to pack their gear but with few words amongst themselves. The sound of magazines being jammed into rifles, canteens and steel clashing together and belts locking in place shuffled amongst the remaining crew. The expression of fear and mourning between each soldiers face seemed to do the talking alone. For all of them. The absence of chatter, even between the morning flock of birds was discomforting.

    James shook his head and walked back outside, lighting up a cigarette on his way out. Kasady sighed, her face buried in her palms as she ran her hands through her hair once more, contemplating the situation. She lowered her hand slowly, studying the scar in the center of her right palm; she could feel the pulse of her heart pound within, her veins appeared to be darker.

    Kasady looked confused, then shook her head, pulling her glove over her hand and walked towards the door.

    "James, look I didn't-"

    "Shhh!"

    James abruptly stopped Kasady, throwing his hand up simultaneously.

    The marines all stood en garde; it was quiet. James slowly scanned the environment;

    heh heh heh heh...

    "What's so funny?" Kasady questioned irritably;

    *SSSSSSSSHHHHHHH*

    Suddenly several steel canisters were tossed between the crew leaking clouds of vapors.

    "GAS!"

    The crew frantically covered the face as gunfire erupted; the camp immediately was blanketed by toxic fog. Kasady covered her face, watching in horror as mists of blood colored the fog and bodies fell limp. Her vision became blurry, the world began to spin, it was no use:

    "J-James!"

    "JAAAAAMES!"

    Kasady dropped to her knees, then stomach first, crawling towards shelter. Kasady glanced towards the distance as she rapidly began to lose consciousness. Shadow figures emerged behind the fog;

    "Find the girl, I want her alive."

  12. Hey Slade, add me on XBL fool. Tell Samara to do the same too!

    Oh and grats. CoDz is turning out to definitely have the greener grass. Just watch out for Boom (he lays bombs on your grass if you know what I mean).

  13. Pretty much everything past the first Blops. With the exception of MOTD to an extent.

    But I'm pretty sure it's been said a hundred times by now I always felt Zombies was more in it's prime when everything seemed to be more about mystery and puzzle solving between what really happened between Richtofen, Maxis and Samantha, and how the the other 3 of the O4 came into the picture. There was always more a grey area, and everything seemed related or at least nodded to even real-life events to hint more towards more clues. So to me, the story line i was most interested in died on Moon. After moon, everything took a 180... New characters, plot twists galore, and everything seemed so spontaneous and random even more so with locations. The only thing that really kept going was the whole Maxis/Richtofen struggle, and even then I liked the idea of Samantha being this mysterious entity that toyed and watched over us. Now you've just got two desperate men playing tug of war for power and no sign of Samantha or the O4 at all.

    I know that was more of an opinion based on storyline, but that effects my intrest in the maps on Blops 2. I never got into the new characters, never got into the maps as much as I did in the last couple seasons and it just no longer felt like the same game IMO. But gameplay wise, I enjoyed MOTD the most.

  14. I've heard I don't know how many times from different people claim or admit they even buy the map packs JUST for the Zombies/Extinction DLC. I personally find that insane, so you'd think they'd at least consider making that an option to be separate DLC since it basically is separate from the main game anyways. 15 bucks for a map pack is one thing, but that's just one more thing to add on my view; If I JUST want the latest Zombies/Extinction, I HAVE to buy the entire map pack. If I wanna try out the new MP maps, I'm stuck also just getting a recycled "favorite" and they use a fresh coat of paint just so it feels new as a crutch, IMO.

  15. Maps like Terminal (and Nuketown 2025 I believe) that we're given out for free as a bonus is one thing. Hell, it certainly wouldn't break the bank to throw in a freebie now and then, especially if it's just a map from a previous CoD title.

    Don't get me wrong, I dig playing some of these remakes of popular maps. But I'd rather have the option to pay for them if I want to, not need to in order to get the rest of the DLC that comes with it. That's just downright lazy IMO. If I'm paying extra money for extra content, the content should all be well, extra original. Frankly I'm surprised they haven't done this yet given they basically did already with the classic zombies maps. It was it's own DLC to have the previous zombie maps equipped with Blops weapons and all in one location.
