  1. I just wish they'd come up with more variants at this point. Nothing I have to buy to have just more unlockable variants via Supply drops period. I tend to get more duplicates than anything else at this point.

Plus, when the hell are the new maps going to be available on all other modes? Or is it just Hardcore that got the short end of the stick again? Don't get me started on that. I still eagerly wait impatiently for Activision and the CoD producers to realize HC modes are more than just another game mode, it's a community. The closet thing I can relate it to is just like how some of you folks are only into CoD for the Zombies, I'm into MP for HC and that's it. And I'm limited to 4 modes.

  2.

Who do I need to sleep with to get considerations??

    Or is it PayPal transaction?

If sleeping with the staff was what got you into the Hall of Fame you would've been in there a LONG time ago, buddy.

Something you're not telling us here, @Jolteon? :P

  3. I couldn't have summed that up better myself, GRILL. I'm glad you didn't sugar coat it either.

On that note, I would like to point out the issue we inevitably run into issues with individuals taking somethings personally. To try and avoid these confrontations publically, I'd suggest if you are really unsure what someone's intentions were, try to clarify before starting a heated argument in the thread. As GRILL mentioned, there's plenty of scenarios where threads tend to derail and it ultimately turns out to be a miscommunication of sorts. We will not always agree with one another, but we can surely be mroe civil about it publicly.

  4. @Flammenwerfer I agree about the catwalk. Nothing like standing on those stairs mowing em down with the MG, I remember getting that beast upgraded for the first time.....damn lol, best non wonder weapon ever IMO.

Camping up there really made you feel like you were in a last stand kinda scenario.

Alongside the catwalk, I also like to make my last stand down in the trench below Quick Revive where there's no where to go and watch them flood down the stairs as we mowed them over with upgraded Browning/MG42/PPsH's. Add some epic orchestral songs to the mix and it was the icing on the cake. Good times...

  5. If I had a nickel everytime I revisited the glory days of Zombies and CoD, I'd be a millionaire by now.

Was it just me? Or were you guys just as easily entertained by the ragdoll physics the zombies had in WaW? Throw a grenade near a zombie as it fell to its death and BOOM.... bodies everywhere.

  6. I came across one of PINNAZ's posts and was like "DAFUQ?!"

Glad to see this though, it's definitely been long overdue and I certainly couldn't have picked better new inductees.

    Congrats everyone! :)

@GRILL, will this be a random thing? Or did staff also decide on how often they will do this?

  7. Circles got harder and harder to maintain after about halfway through the first BO season. Which is a good thing, given maps like Der Riese, SNN, Kino and Ascension hardly requires my full attention once I've gotten all set up anymore. Love them to death, don't get me wrong... But you could circle for days and barely watch your back and you'd be fine.

Perhaps this is one reason I really enjoy the formula of how the Zombies work in AW so far.

  8. If this does happen, it has to be completely seperate to new content. As Chopper said, nearly every map has its best strategy already fleshed out. It wouldn't be enticing for people thathave paid for these maps twice already.

Perhaps. But I'd be willing to do it one more time to have every single map in one location rather than just this whole "remake" possibility. Guitar Hero and Rock Band did something similar as new titles came out. For like 5ish bucks (Even less than that I think) you could basically get a transfer so that all the songs from the previous title was imported on the latest version of the game. Practically doubling your total setlist of available songs. Activision could do the samething easily. Like how Red Dead Redemption also had the optional solo Undead Nightmare expansion available in stores as I've mentioned before.

Enough people always state they buy the games JUST for Zombies. It would be nice if they started catering a bit towards that.

  9. Micro DLC aside, I think I'm mostly just annoyed more armory space wasn't something earned for prestiging. Instead, I'm left deleting 4-5 items every time I get a drop, or I'll have to sucker in another several bucks. They snake your money from you any chance they get. I really don't care about all the other micro stuff because it's optional. And it doesn't really effect me much if I don't get it. But in this case, it does and I don't like it.

  10. How would you guys feel about the game ending in the case that any player bleeds out? It would discourage training and encourage teamwork, I think... I think it would add a much need flavor to a stale game...

That would get as old as when the game would end whenever the host left in WaW's MP. There's been plenty of scenarios where it wasn't a lack of teamwork. We were just simply overwhelmed and for whatever reason and someone was left to bleed out simply because we couldn't chance it without risking the whole game.

I see what you're saying, but in zombies, it would just be more of a pain in the ass than anything else.

  11. If it's too loud, you're too old, @Chopper :P

I've got a playlist burned on to my Xbox for every map and the music choices progress in intensity as the rounds do and really adds to the effect and feeling of the intensity that starts to pile on while playing Zombies. A lot of it is actually just soundtrack stuff from other games/movies that really fit the environment of the map. For example, I start off my Moon playlist with a couple tracks from the Dead Space soundtrack. And my SNN playlist starts with  this sort of eerie Asian music haha. Then to finish it all off, each playlist ends with the maps actual EE song.

If I can dig one up, I'd be happy to share.

    EDIT:

I'm not sure how you guys do it, but I just create a playlist via iTunes, then burn the playlist on to a blank disc and rip it onto my Xbox. Here's my SNN playlist. If you decide to give it a go, let me know how it worked for you! :)

  12. I've always found that interesting about Der Riese too. The boring "realist" in me wants to just say it's because given WaW was the first time Zombies was ever included in a CoD game, and the whole explosion for theories and a storyline started (technically) in SNN to begin with, it was merely a teaser for another Zombies season come next Treyarch title due to such a success they had so far.

However, I'm with Werf. Still to this day Der Riese holds a special place in my heart. If they were to return to it once more and expand on it while still keeping true to the nature and atmosphere of the original Der Riese, I'd be all over that. It's about damn time we actually killed NAZI Zombies again anyways if you ask me.

  13.

And I've always been ok with them for non functional changes - camos, skins etc.  As soon as they become game changing, they are wrong.

But this one adds armory slots and new create a class options?  That's too far.

    This.

Unfortunately, these "Micro-DLC's" are crude, yet effective. Evidently, enough people are bound to purchase at least one of them if not all of them. I'm with Chopper, some of these DLC's are okay such as camos/skins and the like. Because they are just additional skins. But we're talking about in-game things here they want us to pay for that have been an issue. Specifically the whole armory slots option. I've stated a few times on the CoD forums themselves "Hey, can we make extra armory slots as an unlockable thing for Prestiging?" Their action? "Why wait to prestige when you can just buy it now!"

  14. Well remember, we have to stay in an area with 3-D printers and where other exo bits make sense...

Lol in the world of Zombies does ANY thing really make sense?

They've already laid down the idea that Atlas is testing us. What's preventing them from having convienently placed Atlas tools and gear spread around practically any location anyways?
