  1. 1. This is the single most load of rubbish I've ever read on these forums. Parents shell out 120 dollars a year for A GAME when you factor in DLC. If the brats want a PS4, they will get it.

    2. This will kill the biggest thing CoD has going for it right now, which is pro competitive play. How many of those elite teams you see at the X-Games and the world championships will switch to PS4? All the big names? They're going to lose a majority of their viewership thanks to this. Spoke to a few of my friends who're on the pro circuit that said their team would withdraw completely if it switched to PS4. Can't imagine a world where CoD has PS4 branding all over it and they allow the championships to be played on Xbox.

Mlg is the most overblown event ever. Because of MLG we have all these kids going around calling themselves call of duty pros while quicks scoping and trying to act cool by doing 360 no scope trickshots.

Cod of will be better off without MLG people like Optic this and nade shot that.

CoD championships are so far beyond MLG now. Treyarch has their own competitive system built in that their titles' that determines everything.

You sit here and say MLG is bad for Duty but without MLG Duty wouldn't be where it is today. You have no idea how big the competitive community is to the franchise. The fucking X-Games made it an event for christs sake. Nobody in CoD championships does trick shots or any of that stuff. You're living in the past. Treyarch embraced the hell out of the community, Vahn calls himself good friends with a lot of pros, then Acti alienates it. With none of the big name teams in championships, it will create a smaller competitive fan base and this franchise will continue to sink, as it has. Sales will continue to drop.

    Writing is on the walls.

  3.

On the bright side, after Blops3, I can finally say that I will no longer be supporting ANYTHING CoD related. Half tempted to not buy the garbage because of the Exo 2.0 shit, but alas zombies will suck me back in. Business aside, Xbox and competitive multiplayer helped build CoD to the franchise they are today. Without them, they never would have survived through the shit show  of releases the last three years and it's a shame that they alienated that relationship.

Bigger shame that the zombies community will lose a majority of their contributors for the first month of a release. What a shame.

  4. WOO! I finally didn't unintentionally mooch off another persons post!

Ok, so for those who don't know, apparently 10:46 AM EST is equivalent to 7:46AM PDT. So we got at least a few hours until we see BO3! (question is, will it be 4 or 13 hours? )

I don't think that Duty is showing today.

  5. I think this all but confirms that they won't be showing at any conferences today.

Which would all but confirm that #DLCequality is even more in effect.

Telling part is them saying that E3 begins tomorrow. Kinda inferring that Duty will be quiet today, meaning they won't be showing at Sony or MS conference. Of course they could still show up but this says enough IMO.

  6. It's the old saying, where there's smoke there's fire. Each article of "proof" on their own is nothing but circumstantial evidence, but together, the case starts to mount.

It wouldn't be much of an anouncement if they let it slip on a banner now would it. It's either no marketing, or Sony marketing. I can't envision ActiBlizz not getting a marketing deal for the biggest game of the year. If they announce MS marketing, why would A) anyone care, and they hide it.

What makes you say it's the biggest game of the year?

I reckon Fallout, Battlefront give it a run for its money.

There's more evidence to it being a mutual release than a Sony early release. All you Sony fanboys need to take a step back and stop selective reading.

  7. To me it actually has been becoming LESS plausible, sense about 2 weeks ago, I've been legit worried PS4 would get the DLC first. But now I'm not worried in the slightest.

I felt the same way two weeks ago. Add that the Xbox One dev kits were UNDER the tvs, with the PS4's next to them in the Marshawn lynch article, I feel pretty confident that everyone will be receiving DLC at the same time.

  8. Sadly I think the Xbox one is off. The light isn't on

PS4 is being used, look at controller in his hand. HOWEVER, the Xbox is clearly the main console seeing as how it's actually in the tv "station: (for lack of better terms)

Look how snug of a fit it is, that stand was made for the XB1. PS4 is just off to the side. Sources have said multiple times that PS4 version is just further along and a better product atm.

As for Marashawn being in the game, I doubt it'll drive sales, and I doubt that was the reason behind it. He's a menacing dude, they mo cap everything. Getting a guy of his physique is huge. Will make his character look a little meaner in the game. It's just a cool little touch. Like Ice Cube being a voice in Black Ops, nothing major but his assets will help drive the character.

  9. Are people still using the We're being hold back by previous gen console excuse?

People need to stop using the old consoles as scapegoats for a game's flaws and shortcomings and simply accept the fact that the current-gen hardware is already outdated as fuck and devs already need to comprise on certain fronts to make the game look and play the best it can on current gen systems.

Having said that, it looks like CoD: Ghosts 2 will be the first true current-gen only CoD.
Looking forward to Activision re-using that excuse of a marketing device even though we know it won't make a fucking difference.

  10. laaaaaaaaaaaaame.

Time to let the old dogs die.

well clearly they are more money hungry than ever eh so it seems .... but i wont be transitioning to next gen yet anyway lol for a while so you know theres that

True that, I wonder how half assed it will be. Beenox is fucking terrible, they've done all the recent Spider Man games.

At least you guys get to enjoy zombies I guess :P

  11. 1V6 Clutch in Search? Beastmode. Beastmode in Duty? Beastmode Beastmode.

IN THE YEAR 2065, cybernetic advancements give rise to augmented human soldiers, a new breed of badass charged with preserving our way of life. Their mission leads them to a seedy bar in Singapore, where they encounter an underworld boss and his elite squad of mercenaries. Among them is a 5-foot-11, 215-pound battering ram of a man who's exactly like the world's most ferocious running back circa 2015: the Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch.

Welcome to the world of Call of Duty: Black Ops III, the highly anticipated first-person shooter game set for release in early November. What follows is the exclusive behind-the-scenes story of how Lynch put his stamp on the blockbuster franchise. The game has long captured his imagination. Now it will carry his likeness, giving him the distinction of being the first athlete to appear as a character in a Call of Duty game.

The article proceeds to take you through a day in the life of a man starring his likeness in a video game.

  12. Diamond Riot shields, Naked zombie babes, epic swagtastic customization, Good zombies experience, good mp experience, EPIC dark cinematic campaign, less drone killstreaks in MP.

Classic weapons DLC or released with game so i can Romp on nubs with a round drum Thompson.

A mission with a Big ass set of stairs so when I'm playing Campaign co-op with my mates on vet we can get spammed with thousands (literally) of frags.

Joe Montana, Hall of Famer class of 2000. Four time Superbowl Champion. Two time NFL Most Valuable Player.

     The killer of a franchise?

    "
    – First and foremost, this game will be for XBOX One and PC only. This is why they haven’t mentioned platforms. They’re taking early advantage of the Windows 10 cross-plat tech and the game will be out as part of 10’s 3-month launch cycle in the middle of this year.

    – The game is called Joe Montana NFL Football 16. This is an NFL game. First-party stipulations that the NFL has always left open & the NFL’s exclusive relationship with Microsoft allows for Microsoft to have an NFL game. Microsoft Studios is the publisher. Microsoft is deadly serious about gaining ground and winning the console war (doubtful to happen at this point though) and throwing tons of money at incubation and trying to buy new IP that they can turn into big series’ titles is top priority for them right now. They believe this game can be many times bigger than MLB The Show due to the larger NFL fanbase, and because so many XBOX One owners identify as serious NFL fans."

Thoughts? I think if executed properly, JMF could drastically put a dent in Maddens numbers. The same user likened the difference in JMF and Madden to the difference between the NBA 2k series and the highly criticized NBA Live series that was recently rebooted. If that statement holds true, Madden is in serious trouble.
