  1. MODS please move to proper sub once they are established.

In an attempt to keep findings organized, post here and I will update OP as more screens are found, and more information is "discovered".

When discussing image information, refer to the image number listed above the image you are discussing.

  2. The last two pages of this thread floored me. Great work, guys.

    @Stop mocking me0

    115. That seems so obvious, now that you point it out. Well done. I watched those dials repeatedly and kept coming up empty.

I never saw this picture posted on any of the pages in this forum. As I'm sure y'all know, this immediately followed the Origins shot. Was it concluded that this is MotD?

Going to read your Where I Think We Are Going thread, @Nightmare Voyager. Dunno what you suggested yet, but I'll be darned if it doesn't have Richtofen, 935, and 1915. I'm just fascinated by the resemblance between something at the end of BO2 to Der Riese, regarding the blueprint thing.

Kinda looks like the first area in Buried. Imagine facing it from the House, I think Jug is under the staircase that's on one of the buildings on the right, next to the Jail which would be in the very back right on the right,

  3. Maybe they will all die and each game you load up with a different character missing? It seems weird that they would kill off a character so soon even though they all have about as much backstory as the Tranzit group at the moment. Its like I dont care if one of them gets replaced, they dont have enough story for me to feel anything towards them. Now if that happened with Maxis saying the to the old group, then that would be a bold new step and would be a big twist on the beloved group. People would be wondering who it is because they have all done bad things etc.

You say so soon, I say halfway through the story.

I think it would add a fun twist.

  4. If this is seriously a consideration, why do they not just take on the whole stand-alone Zombies collection idea by now?

I'd be seriously surprised if this idea didn't get stuck in front of Acti already.

And all they saw was $$$$$

They wouldn't do this as  DLC, they'd release it as it's own game. Release one map pack and have 4 maybe 5 maps, or release a standalone game with all classic maps that people would pay 40/50/60 dollars for, and you could at that point do the rewritten story arc.

This would be ideal imo, I've already paid for the WaW maps twice, not paying for DR a third time(Who am I kidding, I totally would but I will stomp and bitch the entire time) unless that payment includes every zombie map to date.

  5. I missed it :'(

If you did, or want to recap the over view of the meeting, here is a nice link that so far seems pretty informative. Maybe someone that actually watched the meeting can say how on point this article is with what went down yesterday.

A better pic too of this, it's definitey a Z. My question is what's the orange circle about.  Of course it looks like nothing, but it's not often that they add something just for "nothing".

The book in the background, with the drawings...Maxis' diary?

  6. I actually think that if anyone is going to die, it's gonna be Khan. I mean, he's an administrator at Atlas (or at least, was), so it'd make sense for Sentinel to take him out. If not, Decker seems likely as well, as his mental health seems to be in a poor state considering the situation.

But isn't Khan kind of the only one who really knows what was going down at HQ? I mean he seems like the obvious target, but at the same time there is good reason to keep him as well.

  7. The description of the gun itself says "Use it to slow zombies down to make them easy pickings for your teammates" or something along those lines. It's a good weapon and itt serves it's purpose.

If you want a ray gun, or Dg-3...you know where to go.

So over people comparing apples to oranges.

  8.  Alright, I've played 10 games, finished the EE, and hit round 30. I think I can comfortably write an unbiased review

    Pros:
    Size
    Variety in zombie Models
    Open space outside
    Fun, creative traps
    Location of said traps
    flow of the map
    "quarantined" map zones
    Epic classical music EE
    Real "Wonderesque" type weapon

    Cons:
that big motherfucker (although I enjoy bosses)
    EE Reward
Death Trap Sewer(death traps on every map, this one is just an entire portion of a map)

Starting room gets crowded with 4 players
    Too many 2,000 point doors.

For the sake of not beating the dead horse, I won't include complaints carrying over from the last map.

    OVERALL: 8/10
It is a great map for solo players (for me, that means a lot and heavily favors into the rating), with wide open spaces great for training/exo jumping hordes. Great areas to bring trains through and bottle neck them for easy pickings. All perks are easily accessible, with upgrade stations in every major training area. The map does get cramped in spaces with four players, but the map allows for more independent teams to be able to split up and train comfortably without fear of running into your teammates. There isn't much of an "atmosphere" to the map, but I don't expect that out of AW zombies, that's what I play 3Arcs releases for. Overall this is a great, fun map and more than what I expected out of the experience. There aren't (if any) too many major game breaking aspects to the map, and the traps, layout, and overall playability of the map far outweigh the cons for me.

  9.

My point is simple. I just want to see more worthwhile rewards for doing side quests. Why anyone would try to debate or argue against this is mind boggling. Are you saying you are cool having worthless rewards? Would you not rather see something cool or unique?

I haven't said that once, but what do you expect? What would make you happy? All the perks? A special gun? Idk what you expect, EE's started as something for the love of the game, you did it to do it, not to get the rewards.

I used to spend hundreds of hours trying to solve them with my group. I didn't do the CotD EE for the Waffe, I didn't do Shangri-La for the perks. I did them for the love I have for zombies. Maybe that's why it bothers me a bit, that the community has strayed away from doing the eggs out of love for the game, to the point where people are complaining (even on the 3Arc releases) that the rewards aren't good enough. Maybe it's just me in my old man sweater wanting people who wanna play the game for different reasons than I do to get off my yard. I understand some malcontent towards the AW EE"s,they offer no real substance + no real reward. If they hadn't included an egg at all, how would you react? Would you be pissed? Or would you say "well, this isn't Treyarchs game"? So why is it any different that they handle the rewards differently than Treyarch?

Like I said, remember where we came from. Treyarch could release a game with zombies with NO eggs whatsoever, and I would love it all the same. Would everyone else?

  10. This isn't Treyarchs game.

You shouldn't be expecting anything out of it, it's a "fresh" experience. 98% of people play zombies, to kill zombies. I love EE's as much as the next guy, but EE's have been in games for decades now, and NONE of them were anywhere near the level of what Treyarch started with Zombs.

It's to the point where I don't think they should even be called easter eggs anymore. Side quests would be adequate. The game quite literally tells you what to do now. I don't think I can comfortably call that an Easter egg.

I would understand if we were playing CoD2015 and the EE's were less than stellar, but like I said Treyarch didn't make this game. I'm actually surprised they included EE's like this at all, and even more surprised more people aren't castrating Sledgehammer for doing Easter Eggs with this kind of process in the first place.

  11.

I have a friend who works at acti in HR, spoke with her just trying to get a vibe for the company. Requirements for developers (not all the same) include but aren't limited to Experience in particular field, experience working under deadlines (with references), however they don't require a degree but, if someone applies for the same position and they possess one, you'll be drawing the short stick.

Putting your name in the hat never hurts, but it helps if you're using a large piece of paper.

That's not strictly true with regards to degrees.

Any job that requires creative thinking or design will be judged on your working portfolio first.

If a degreeless person is more talented than someone with a degree, the person with the degree will be drawing the short stick.

I was assuming that both candidates were equally experienced, my bad.

Ticky tack post on my part :P

  12. . I'm just worried that the map is super small again as it somewhat seems that way to me.

I thought the opposite when I saw the screens from the burger flipper on their twitter. But now that I watch the trailer I kinda feel the same way. Will be interesting to see how the sewer and BT area connect and are played. Hopefully no more narrow stairways of death  <_<
