As opposed to Call of the Dead? I mean, it's pretty easy to deal with monkeys, all you need to do is get Jugg and camp it, and thus getting a free perk everytime you do that without buying other perks. I"m considering buying one of these maps, and I seriously don't want to waste 15 bucks on a map that is really good for multiplayer, but sucks for solo, which apparently ascension is.

Camping, at least IMO, is really risky. If one person gets overrun, then pretty much the entire group is f***ed. I find it much easier to just get a train going on the stage and have everyone else pick off extra zombies that spawn.

Strictly from a Solo perspective, which map is better? My friends are never consistently online and I seriously can't deal with kids that have gamertags like, "xXx OpTiczzz xXx". I'm not buying Shangri-la, because from what I've seen, it's just the kind of map that would piss me off.
