Dynasty: Map Concept

Dynasty

Reborn from the debris of the X-Dark Vessel, four heroes venture through Tokyo to survive. Though everything is not as it seems. They are in Tokyo but it is not destroyed. In fact, it looks as if it just went through an industrial revolution. Now you must search for answers and find why things are as they are here.

With this idea, I wanted to continue the idea of having another map that holds this kind of long jeopardy. I know some people obviously like the normal maps, hence the survival versions, but there will only be one map that continues this feature after this. In this map you will begin to understand more about the outer world in the apocalypse, while also creating a bridge between the past and future much like Dystopia did. In Dynasty, the chapters are more compact and near each other but are focused on also giving levels to the map rather than having it flat. Yet again, if I forget anything tell me as I am only human and of course I may have made a mistake.

Time taken to create: February 7th to April 10th

Note: (The idea behind this is not meant to be for last gen consoles, I am sure a lot of the stuff in it already pushes the limits and I feel that being ported back to an old console would make it seem as if the map is going backwards not forwards. If this were to be in a Call of Duty, it would be the first DLC map.)

Loading Screens:

In solo, when loading the map you will have a cutscene that directly continues on from Dystopia, it is a cutscene much like Mob of the Dead and Origins. The X-Dark Vessel is crashing downwards through very twisted clouds. Magnus is gripping the wheel used to pilot the vessel (much like what is found in planes) while Dexter is running around panicking. “We are going to die! I don’t want to die Magnus, do something!” Dexters begins to shake Magnus. He moves his shoulder to get him off of him. “I am trying!” After he shouts, the screen moves to the outside of the ship, still showing it crashing. Alexus and Sergei are fighting the last few zombies on the deck of the vessel. Sergei finishes killing the last set of them while Alexus lowers her gun and looks up to the sky. Near the sun she sees a serpent fly past, it then circles around the sun and begins to spin, creating a vortex. Sergei laughs and faces Alexus after finishing killing the zombies. He sees her face and looks up at the energy vortex that is coming towards them. They run back into the ship to where the other two are. Now, all of them are looking at the window at the oncoming vortex. It hits the top of the ship, causing it to shake even more. The ship crashes onto land and time is slowed. In slow motion, the vessel can be seen exploding and breaking up into parts. Time then speeds up again and shows the group, scattered around the area, some under debris but all dead. The dragon flies away into the distance. A white light fades over the area, the bodies disappear. Now standing together, in front of the destruction are the group. Alive and well, with no sign of death to be seen… Round 1.

The co-op loading screen is a normal comic book and is the next page to the blueprint. The train ticket from before can be seen in the bottom corner and a hole is punched out indicating the ticket has been seen. There are two distinct sides to this page, the first side has the panels of a comic book and the second is an advertisement page. On the top left panel is an image of the X-Dark Vessel crashing, the next panel which leads onto it depicts a dragon facing the ship. Below is a large panel of the crater that had been created by the vessel, the sun can be seen behind it. Below are four figures emerging from the flames in triumph. The advertisements page only has three adverts. One is for ‘Phantom Power- Unleash the power of the lost souls’, the other is for concert tickets. The final advert depicts a bomb falling. Below it is a quote which says “Nuclear Bomb: New and Shiny.”

When the game is over, a video of the X-Dark Vessel crashing will be shown and the loading screen will end when it crashes.

Map Layout and Mechanics:

Like Dystopia, this map is split into two chapters. The twist of this is that these chapters are actually levels to a more vertical map. When going from chapter to chapter perks and utilities move, except for Pack-a-Punch which will stay in the train. This map starts off with an explosive introduction, the group are seemingly killed while crashing the X-Dark Vessel into Tokyo. But somehow they are brought forth again to survive the undead and follow the voice of Umbra, a disconnected soul wanting their body back. But can you trust them? This new map contains a version of Tokyo which has been affected by the industrial revolution. It mixes in steampunk the with traditional Japanese style. Unlike Dystopia, there is only two chapters in this map. Though this is less than Dystopia, I feel as if having only two maps is a good way to test more either way.

Chapter 1: Undertown:

Story: Directly after Dystopia, the X-Dark Vessel was hit, causing it to crash. Sadly, the group died and were destined to never reach their goal. But someone thought otherwise. The group were resurrected in front of the crater of the Vessel, they climbed out of the fiery crater and began their struggle to survive once more.

Welcome to Undertown, the slums of Tokyo. A lot had to be given up so that the main city could be so technologically advanced, as a result the Undertown was created. This is a twisted set of streets spanning around what used to be one of the most beautiful landmarks in Tokyo such as the Tokyo Tower, the tower itself which has now fallen over on to a large group of houses in the top left of the map. Undertown is not specifically underground, newer Tokyo was built over it but by no means covers it. If you have ever played the Titanfall map rise, it is enclosed much like that.

The spawn is at the foot of a mountain. Above you is a blue sky that has wispy clouds in it. This mountain has a crater in front of it. This crater has the remains of the X-Dark Vessel burning in it, jumping into the crater will kill you. Leaning on the mountain is Quick Revive. Going around the crater will lead you into the entrance of Tokyo. It has a large wall that blocks the entrance to the town. Blood is splattered all over the walls and their is a piece of graffiti that has the image of a robot with a black sun next to it. Throwing grenades at a part of the wall will break it down and let you enter it. Within the entrance of Tokyo, the floor is inhospitable. The ground is covered in smoke. You can see through it very easily but you will begin coughing uncontrollably and must escape. In the ground is a hole which leads to a narrow twisted slide. Going down it will bring you to a Undertown.

You start at the centre of Undertown, you will be in a shack made of metal sheets and wooden planks. On the roof is a hole which you came from. There is a tap at the back of the shack dripping water. Upon leaving you find yourself underneath a large machine that has pipes protruding from it and boring underground. Nothing is flowing through them but the machine continues to work. You will find some weapons around, a crafting table and a power meter which will give power to the areas around you, but this is just the main hub. There are three choices to leave, North, East and West. The power will spread to these areas (as well as the spawn) but past here it will not power them.

pOB64uUB7biJo5XZdlcwHMwVEmpwC-6KZFOK7bCP

East will bring you to a factory, smoke rises from its chimneys and up to the above area. Entering the factory will let you hear loud sounds of creaking and machinery. Around it are large pots that hang by chains from the roof. By climbing up a set of stairs, you will be able to enter the control room. There are three buttons which control the direction of the pots, though nothing can be done with them for now. In here is PHD Flopper and a box location.

At the West is a very dark and destroyed area. Rocks surround the edges of the area as if something had caused all of the debris to fall from the roof. That something is yet another machine that is above you. Yet again it is inactive. Around the area you can find the Amm-O-Matic Machine and the tree bark part.

This area also leads to the docks, it is completely encased underground. You will be walking on wooden bridges which come from the top, bottom, left and right, leading into a centre circle area which holds a small building. The whole area sits on a lake which the zombies will climb out of. You cannot fall into the lake though due to banisters. Around this area you can find Double Tap, a crafting bench and a box location. You will be able to gain access to the house which will contain a power meter.

Going North will bring players to an area filled with the same houses that you had just left. Down the street you can find Speed Cola, a possible box location and a radio. From here, the map spans off to the left and right. Over to the left is a set of broken down houses in a circular position. On top of them is the Tokyo tower. It is corroded, broken and twisted. You can climb on top of the tower and traverse across it but if you travel to far up it, which is technically the base of it, you will slide back down as it is too steep. In this area is Juggernog and the chains part.

Going right will bring you to a train station. This area is different than the others as it is more open due to a large opening at the front letting light in. The area itself has three structures inside. These are small buildings such as a diner, control centre and a coffee shop. Entering the diner will bring you to something reminiscent to that which is found in Tranzit except it is bigger, brighter and less broken. Also you can get into the food preparation room which looks like a standard restaurant backroom. It holds some weapons, Electric Cherry and the power meter for this area. Inside of the coffee shop is the Twisted Boomshine perk machine and yet another crafting bench. Finally is the control centre, the main hub for sending the trains where they are meant to go. On the wall is a large departures list which has these locations, which all say cancelled next to them: Undertown, Metropolis, Broken Tower, Revolution, Archangel District. A control panel is situated below this which also has small screens which have the image of areas around the map. On this control panel is a big red button. In this area is Stamin Up and the steam valve part.

If you are ready to leave Undertown, you can press the red button which costs 2500 Points. This will make the building shake and the floor outside part. The rails will split apart like teeth and a vehicle will rise from the underground. Once it has emerged, the vehicle can be seen to be a train. It sits on golden rails as opposed to the rusted rails that had split apart. Here, you can enter the train.

The Wunder Bullet- Locomotive of the Future:

The Wunder Bullet is a train that was created to be the leading transportation in the revolution. Only one was ever made and was modified by Group 935 into being as Maxis called it the “Locomotive of the Future” that would surpass all other forms of transportation. The train is much like what is seen in the image except it will have a plow and looks aesthetically like traditional Japanese architecture.

1de_pQaq8cIZJoqEwlsjt-n84sBnhlZRZVayiJhB

It costs 2000 points to be used and will take players from one station to another. Zombies cannot get on the train and will be repelled by it. But, they will respawn in the other area upon your arrival. You may walk along the train carts, being able to access three. The first is an entrance way while the second holds the Pack-a-Punch machine. The third has a large furnace which, instead of coal, holds meteor fragments of element 115.

There is a small circular window looks into where the train would be driven from. It is cloudy but by using a sniper you will be able to see the train driver. It is like T.E.D.D but is more fixed than him and has two metal plates on its face which form a mustache. Also it's arms are present and on its body is a badge in the shape of a crown. Most of this detail would only be seen in the files, coincidentally the file name for the train driver is K.I.N.G, a name given to him due to the crown symbol on him.

For three minutes you will be on the train. This gives all players enough time to upgrade their weapons and activate the musical Easter Egg. This also gives you the chance to look outside and see the landscape. After the train will stop and you will be able to leave. Zombies will spawn a minute after the train stops. To prevent people not having to leave the train, it will automatically push you off after a minute like a purge sequence. Also the train will have a cool down of five rounds until it is available again.

Chapter 2: Revolution:

Story: Upon leaving the train, the characters are thrust into a new form of Tokyo. It looks as if the Industrial Revolution has only just taken place. While they try to figure out why Tokyo is like it is, they also find a dark secret that will make the group question if they are doing the right thing.

An Industrial revolution has recently swept across Tokyo. But why only now? When the Dragon had attacked the X-Dark Vessel, it had not only caused it to crash but had sent it to the past as well. You are not in the future anymore, the year is 1887. Not only had you traveled to the past, you had also found that the past of another universe had ripped through into where Tokyo used to be, causing a dimensional collision.

As soon as you leave the train, you will be on a typical platform that is not surrounded in any way. Quick Revive is leaned up against the wall of a brick building that sits next to the platform. In this area, you will find the sky is covered in more smoke, like what could be found in the above of Undertown. From it you can walk to three places. You can either cross a bridge that you have to climb up as it hangs over the rails, walk off the platform and into the lower part of Revolution and finally you can go to a forest that is filled with twisted trees.

The forest leads through a set off pathways. In the forest you will find tents which have been abandoned and even a small hut. In the small hut is a crafting bench, the weapons locker and possible box location. Around the forest Speed Cola can be found, it sits next to a pile of cut down trees which are held in place by ropes. Also, though the forest is mainly filled with trees, it has different levels and a hill can be found which can be walked up. On the hill is a rock with a face carved into it, it has yellow eyes. Three other rocks can be found in the forest which have different coloured eyes (red, green and blue) though they are more hidden and can be out of map or in trees.

When going to the lower part of Revolution, you will find it is full of factories which pump out smoke. The factories are all boarded up but the surrounding area can be accessed. At the back of this area however is a large machine. It does not do anything at the moment but has many pipes coming from the bottom of it and reaching into the ground, these pipes will end up leading into the three machines in Undertown. Behind this area you can see the mountain which you first spawned at, though it is a distance away. Near the factories, both Double Tap, a crafting bench and a box location can be found. Also a power meter can be found here, this also powers the forest as well as this area and where you got off of the train. On the wall of a broken down factory is an image of the head of a Komainu. Killing a zombie near it will make the head of the beast appear. It takes seven zombies to feed the Komainu and make it disappear.

Tcx2JV1-7XeQ_KBQIguikDAeFOMFkj0yM-I-Zs_R

Crossing the bridge will lead you to the main part of Revolution, newer Tokyo. At first you will be in a small garden. There are lots of blossom trees around but they have begun to lose colour. In this area is a box location, gunpowder part and Twisted Boomshine. Leaving this area will just bring you onto a pavement. The pavement leads to a very large set of stairs which reach upwards towards a temple and also leads to another area with buildings that pump out smoke. These stairs are steep and go very far up, almost as tall as where you enter Buried. You can then enter the temple at the top.

In front of the temple are two statues of Komainu. Going in to the temple will let players see a large hallway which has many relics around. Three rooms branch off from the sides of the main hall. One at the left, one at the right and one straight forward. The temple is very big, the roof reaches high and lets the sun in.

NM3PrKVYhyHTFtfvD9D0BytJ_xuFcwfDPg-9jQhK

At the left is a dining room with a long table. Windows can be found on each wall of the room, in the centre of one of the walls is PHD Flopper. On the opposite side of the room is a crafting bench. Near the end of the table is a power meter. This area is very empty aside from the table, there is not even food on the table. A zombie spawn is in one of the windows, which is how the zombies first came in to the temple. On the roof is a chandelier. But unlike a normal chandelier, this one has knifes on it. This is because at the doorway of the room is a trap activation. You can pay for it causing the chandelier to spin around and shoot the blades at zombies. But the blades can also damage you.

The right area is living quarters but had almost been turned upside down by the zombies. Chairs and tables are either flipped open or broken in half. In the right corner of the room is a crafting table while in the left is Electric Cherry and the pipe part. By killing zombies next to one of the walls you will activate the next Komainu, you must yet again feed it seven zombies so that it disappears. In the back of the room is a fireplace, next to it on a pedestal is the bust of a bald bearded man. Activating it will make the fireplace sink into the floor and reveal an entrance to the below.

You will be in a dark, damp tunnel which leads towards a room with an old wooden floor. A crafting table can be found here as well as a chalkboard on the wall. Leading off of this is a broken set of stairs. They reach up to another wooden platform. However, this one actually holds a box location, Juggernog and a power meter. This area is known as a mobile area as it will turn around and then suddenly stop. This can make it difficult to obtain what you need. There are two ways of then leaving this area. You can either go the way you came or go up yet another stairway which will lead to another area which will be expanded on later.

If you had decided to go straight forward, you would have had to open a door and enter the throne room. The throne is very large and has gears, pipes and machinery surround it. A skeleton sits on the throne, his clothing completely gone. It sits completely upright and has a crown on his head. You can go up to the skeleton and activate it. This will make it disappear into dust but leave a ghostly apparition which floats into the sky. Replacing him is an Anvil which raises from the throne. This is a new utility in the map and a good reward for those who want something to spend their points on and further progress in the map.

The final location in the map spans off from the pavement that also connected to the temple. At first you will be in front of a group of small shacks, these cant be accessed but they can be walked around giving an easy location to survive and an area reminiscent to Shi No Numa. On the bottom layer of this area is a power meter and Stamin Up. Going up a set of stone stairs gives you access to two other buildings which can be both be accessed. The first building is an indoors market. Inside the first is a box location and the Amm-O-Matic Machine. Next to it is a small hut like building which holds a box location and the matchbox part. This is the final area of Dynasty.

Survival:

This time, survival only has two maps. Under town and Revolution. But also, Grief returns with the added feature of being able to survive against either two teams of four or three teams of four. The first team are the police who wear black riot gear uniform and whose faces cannot be seen. Second are the rebels who wear tattered brown clothing and separate coloured bandannas over their mouths (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow). Finally are the Order of the Shadows. If they win, they will have the screen be covered in black with words in red saying “You survived, soon I will return. Within Undertown, you can only spawn in the centre of the town. Juggernog is replaced by Quick Revive in this mode.

Undertown survival is very much the same, except for the perk locations randomly switching. The characters are a mysterious, silent group who wear black hooded clothing and look like they could be called modern day ninjas but are actually part of something much more sinister known as the Order of the Shadows, something that can be found out within the Easter Egg. They spawn with the shurikens and can never lose them.

In Revolution, you play as a group of characters who wear scientist coats and gas masks. On each of them are identification cards. Their names are as follows: Spring, Summer, Winter and Autumn. These are not their real names and are just identifications. The genders of the characters are anonymous do to their clothing, they do not talk either. The map itself is the same except the train station is not accessible.

Features to make the “Mode” work:

Due to the size of the maps, it takes longer for them to load. Not by too much but only a minute or two more. While loading in the cutscene that you would see in solo will begin playing. You can either watch it or skip it by pressing a button. Upon skipping the comic book will just be shown with a bar to show the loading progress.

Now, Public matches and Custom matches are changed a lot. Custom matches, where you load in with four friends, count towards the leaderboards. This is essentially the best way to play when you are aiming to do all of the new things in it and will come into play later. Public matches, still count towards leaderboards, but now there is a way to “find new lobby” by just selecting that option. Sometimes, the map will be hard to play with public match players if they refuse to help. That is a problem that cannot be rectified as you have to do quests to progress meaning that if they can't cooperate then, you are out of luck. But if they do and can talk to you, it may be much more enjoyable.

The key feature that makes playing this possible for regular players is the save function. It works in a number of ways. The host in a public match or custom match can go into the pause menu and press: Save and resume later. Upon pressing this they will be given a prompt to say that they are choosing this. Once they do this, the game will pause for all players and they will be given a screen that says: Do you want to save and resume later? If you say yes then it will say are you sure. If you say yes again all players will be put in the lobby, but there game will be saved. Much like saving a campaign level, it saves your stats, weapons and so on. If you are wondering whether it can be a way to ruin games when people don’t want to play and want to annoy people, it can’t really happen. If the save or resume is rejected, the host will not be able to initiate it for another ten minutes. I know there could be arguments in public match if you don't find people who want to play how you do, but that is why you can find a new lobby. This function needs to be in the game to make the expansion possible to keep playing in different sittings, rather than in one go. Longer games like these may mean higher rounds where things still can get boring, but there are challenges in the map that can only be unlocked after round 25 making players still have a reason to play.

Also, players can leave a custom match and then rejoin with all of their weapons and such that they left with. This can be good for one only one person needs to leave and then return shortly due to real life tasks. Another note is that in Solo, pressing pause means the game is paused. The idea to all of these things is to make it so that one match can last over a span of time as you won't be able to complete the map over a small amount of hours.

These save mechanics only work with the main map not the segregated survival maps.

Characters:

Alexus Valentine: Unlike before, Alexus is more comfortable in her group and is more sociable to them, she can have conversations with any of them but tends to talk to Magnus more due to him not obsessing over things like the others do. Alexus’ hair is brown, it is not too long and only reaches her shoulders, on her fringe she has a red streak of hair. Alexus was born in Britain, her eyes are brown and she is in her early 20s. She wears a black leather jacket that seems slightly too small for her. Under she has a white shirt with a pink stripe going across it diagonally. Her trousers are black, she also has clean white trainers. Her favourite weapons are Shotguns and the Draco Gauntlet.

‘Magnus’: Still the leader of the group, Magnus will do anything to ensure their safety. As he continues to get to grips with the new location they are in, he often talks about his past and what it was like. But he will suddenly trail off and then talk about something else. His real name is unknown to anyone but himself. He comes from Boston and is in his late 20s. Magnus’ hair is black and pushed to the side. His eyes are green. He wears an armored uniform that covers his chest. It is mostly green and grey. Underneath he wears a green turtle neck jumper. His favourite weapons are SMG's and Pistols.

Dexter ‘Dex’ Plugg: Dexter still holds himself high above the others. Now that they have left their safety, all that he can talk about is how the area they are in should be more destroyed. He often keeps to himself now and barely interacts with the others unless he needs too. Dexter wears a set of large, golden goggles over his eyes that have even more lenses surrounding them, much like the Pentagon Thief’s. He wears large welding gloves. On his body he wears a brown waistcoat over a white shirt with his sleeves rolled up. On his back he has a large backpack filled with cogs, gears and machinery. Being the smallest of the group, this weighs him down to be equally fast as the rest of them. His hair is brown and is very messy, sticking up in a lot of places due to him not caring about it. Dexter is around late 20s to early 30s. His favourite weapons are Sniper Rifles and any Wunder Weapon.

Sergei Petrov: Still the tough man he was in Dystopia, Sergei cares for his group a lot and shows this by giving them friendly competition. He will often quote about his eight other brothers and what their lives were like. One of the brothers was named Nikolai, though he shares no relation to Nikolai Belinski. Sergei is Russian. Growing up in Moscow, Sergei trained in the military and eventually fought a war. Upon leaving the war, he began working as a weapons expert, meaning he has a grasp on many of the weapons you will see in map. He is around 50-60 years old. He has a grey beard that covers his whole mouth. He is never seen without a cigar in his mouth. On his head he wears a black wool hat on his head that covers any hair he has. His favourite weapons are heavy weapons like LMGs and Rocket launchers.

Zombies:

Zombies: In Dynasty the zombies have yellow eyes. Their models are that of soldiers wearing gas masks or not wearing them. Occasionally there will be a more armored zombie which has a kind of light shogun armour. These zombies must be shot in the head to be killed. All of the zombies are members of Group 935, the people who lived in Tokyo are nowhere to be seen even though they were infected.

The Dragon: The Dragon is an enemy who only appears in Revolution. It will fly down from the sky and breathe a green fire on you which will make the fire appear on your screen. Sometimes, it will breathe on zombies which will turn their eyes a strong green (like the Exo Zombies eyes) and make them be faster. Its appearance is of a mechanical green dragon, much like what is pictured. But, when looking closely at the dragon you will be able to see that the interior is a green electrical energy. Sometimes, when the dragon has already attacked but gone for a while without being killed, it will begin to circle around the sun, creating a vortex that will damage anybody who walks in it. This can close off areas of the map and can often happen due to the dragons health. Killing it rewards players with a perk drop.

cWcySFDwsDLJ-U4j8DYA6rAzi9JktN4QCen9HsB1

Samurai: The Samurai can appear in both Undertown and Redemption. He will slowly walk around the map with his sword but will suddenly speed up without warning and attack the players. When he hits you with his sword it will make you only a hit away from death. He wears a red armour and has a white mask, but also he fits the aesthetics of the map. Upon killing him you will be awarded with a random drop which can rarely be a perk drop.

Perks and Utilities:

Quick Revive (1500 Points)

Juggernog (2500 Points)

Double Tap (2000 Points)

Speed Cola (3000 Points)

PHD Flopper (2000 Points)

Stamin Up (2000 Points)

Electric Cherry (2000 Points)

Twisted Boomshine (2000 Points): This perk will allow players to have much more powerful explosives and have grenade launchers on all weapons that aren't wunder weapons or already explosive. This also works in tandem with PHD Flopper as you will still sustain explosive damage and it also makes the blast radius larger. As well, when knifing you will have the chance to cause an explosion which will instantly kill the zombie. The symbols is of a pink dragon head breathing fire on a white background.

Amm-O-Matic Machine: It is a dark blue machine with golden When buying this for 2000 points you will gain the ability of replenishing ammo, it will replenish over a certain amount of time, depending on how much ammo has been lost. It is reminiscent of the Stamin Up machine with a larger base.= 2000 Points

Anvil: This new utility can only be used on already upgraded weapons. By putting your gun into the Anvil, you will be able to give it a modification. There are a total of seven modifications which each do different things to a weapon. The modifications are random and any further use of the Anvil will replace the previous modification for a new one. It is also entirely possible that you will get the same modification you have, but this can only happen once as it then becomes a guarantee that you will get a different one. Also, depending on the modification your weapon will be called its name then have the type next to it. The Anvil is as large as the Pack-a-Punch machine, it is the shape of a normal anvil but on each side it will have openings for fire to shoot out when in use. The front holds a metal gate, like on old furnaces, which will open and let you put your weapon in when modifying. The modifications do not work with Wunder Weapons.= 7000 Points

Quartz: This is a simplistic modification which will make your upgraded weapon have less recoil and more accuracy but makes your reload significantly slower. The camo is a white crystal colour.

Lapis Lazuli: This modification will allow you to buy ammo for your weapon for only 1500 Points and make it so that you have a faster reload. But, the weapon will have lots of recoil. The camo will become a shade of blue with white star shapes around it, almost like the Amm-O-Matic Machine.

Amethyst: Yet another modification which gives you a weapon that becomes semi-automatic. It has a very large amount of damage and when shooting a zombies will make it turn into a pink cloud of smoke. Its camo is a pink cloud like camo.

Onyx: Unlike the other modifications, this one will change the sights of your weapon. This is random as to what it changes to. Also, it will make whatever gun you have as light as a pistol. The camo is black with white dashes around it.

Obsidian: This modification will make your weapon have two modes, explosive and three round burst. If it is an explosive weapon, it will still work the same. But, this weapon has a low amount of damage and accuracy. Its camo is a dark purple that pulses a light purple.

Sapphire: The second to last modification allows you to gain a dragon statue tied to the side of your weapon with rope. This lets your weapon shoot blue laser bullets instead of dark magenta. This lets the bullets travel through zombies and instantly kill them but gives you a lot less ammo.

Its camo is a dark blue with light blue shapes around it, much like the clouds in the sky of the map.

Meteorite: The rarest and most powerful upgrade, this modification will infuse ununpentium into your weapon and give it more damage, less recoil, more accuracy, faster reload and be able to hold more ammo. The camo becomes grey with blue circles and engravings in it, much like a 115 meteorite.

Pack-a-Punch: Weapons can now be double Pack-a-Punched to make them significantly stronger. But they cannot be upgraded to change attachments.= 5000 Points/ 10000 Points

Power: To activate the power, you must kill zombies near energy meters. Once ten have been killed, the meter will then power up a quarter of the maps power. There are a total of eight meters, three in the first chapter and five in the second chapter.  Activating all meters will cause a power surge which makes the power across Dynasty not work for 115 seconds.

Zombie Shield: Built from the tree bark, chains and steam valve.

Pipe Bomb: Built from the pipe, gunpowder and matchbox.

Inventory System:

Much like the Dystopia inventory system, this system has different sections of the inventory that are different colours. There are only two sections this time. One is grey and is where the zombie shield parts are placed. The other is green and holds th pipe bomb pieces.

Challenges:

In each chapter there are different forms of challenges, similar to what was seen in MotD and Origins. Since challenges are optional in Dynasty and are by no means forced on the player, they aren’t automatically activated. There will be a stone tablet that spawns when doing the first challenge which has a set of five symbols on. They will light up when the challenge is done and can be hovered over to choose the reward. There are three columns of these two symbols, each for the other chapters. All rewards can be obtained on any chapter.

Tier I.) 1.) The first challenge in Undertown is to simply get 935 kills. This will make a tablet spawn in the area with the large machine and rocks. You can hover over this tablet and obtain a free upgrade for the weapon you are holding.

2.) The next challenge that can be done is gaining 115 head shots. This will award players with a free Pack-a-Punched weapon, this can be The Afterburner, Spatz-447+, Reznov's Revenge or the Predator. This can be found on the tablet, the symbol must be hovered over to access.

3.) Spending 30000 Points. This will award players with a free Quick Revive bottle. Use this when most needed. This can be found on the tablet, the symbol must be hovered over to access.

4.) By getting 935 melee kills, players will be rewarded with being able to obtain the ‘Eternal Blessing’ on the dagger from the tablet. This dagger is a one hit until round 35.

5.) By obtaining 115 grenade kills (monkey bombs do count) you will be able to go to the tablet and access an upgraded grenade which will act like a drone, following zombies and latching on to at least one to blow them up. This will create crawlers easily in later rounds.

Tier II.) 1.) The first challenge on Revolution is to feed 7 zombies to the the three Komainu around the map. This will then give you the Shurikens. These spawn at the foot of the stairs that lead to the temple. A stone tablet reaches up next to the stairs and allows you to also choose later rewards.

2.) The next challenge that can be done is gaining 935 head shots. This will award players with a free Pack-a-Punched weapon, this can be the Agarthan Reaper, Magna Collider, D00M or Powerhouse. This can be found on the tablet, the symbol must be hovered over to access.

3.) Spending 60000 Points. This will award players with a free Juggernog bottle. Use this when most needed. This can be found on the tablet, the symbol must be hovered over to access.

4.) By getting 935 melee kills, players will be rewarded with being able to obtain the ‘Demonic Sin’ on the dagger from the Tablet. This dagger is a one hit until round 50.

5.) Obtaining 935 grenade kills you will be able to go to the tablets and access extra slots for tacticals and lethals, while also giving them higher damage.

Draco Gauntlet: The Draco Gauntlet is Wunder weapon created at the height of the revolution. It is a large, gold box that the user puts their hand inside. This then lets them control the green dragon head at the front. Two tubes on either side connect to the bottom jaw of the dragon head. They pump fire into it which lights the fire inside its mouth. The Draco Gauntlet shoots like the Staff of Fire except it can be shot continuously until it needs to cooldown. The weapon does not have an ammo count. Upgrading it will give you a weapon which can switch into two modes. The first is named the Armageddon Calendar which lets you hold the weapon in two parts, each shoot three bursts of molten rocks which can travel through two zombies. The other mode which can be accessed by pressing down on the D-Pad is known as the Spirit of the Dragon, this mode is much like an upgraded version of the original, except it will shoot a triple burst of blue flames and open up wings on each side of the Gauntlet.

Easter Eggs:

Undertown Quest:

Step 1.) Complete the first tier of challenges.

Step 2.) Obtain the Draco Gauntlet and use it to shoot the top of the fallen Tokyo tower. It will shine a white light.

Step 3.) Now you must kill zombies near the Tokyo tower until the white light turns purple. This will cause it to travel upwards and go to rock filled area.

Step 4.) The light will now be lodged inside of a crystal, the Pipe Bomb must be used along with the perk Twisted Boomshine to dislodge the light so that it can continue.

Step 5.) Inside of the Wunder Bullet is the light, but for now it does nothing. This is because you must go to the lake. The boats will have made a pathway for you to walk across, they lead to a glass prism. After killing zombies near this prism you will be able to obtain it and bring it to the light.

Step 6.) After trapping the light inside of the prism, you can put it into the furnace. It will begin to crack and once you reach Revolution it will have completely been destroyed.

Step 7.) You must simply bring the broken prism and light to the king. he will absorb the light.

Revolution Quest:

Step 1.) Complete the second tier of challenges.

Step 2.) Free the soul of the King.

Step 3.) Dislodge the crown from the top of the temple using the Shurikens.

Step 4.) Bring the crown to the garden. You must place the crown in the centre and feed it zombie souls.

Step 5.) Replacing the crown will be a colourless light. It will begin to flash a random order of colours such as red, blue, yellow and green. Around the map are corresponding buttons which must be pressed in the order of the lights flashing. This will need to be three times. It will reset the step if done wrong.

Step 6.) Now the crown will have respawned at the foot of the stairs. Upon obtaining it you will see that it now has coloured crystals around it. You must take it to the train. A hatch will have appear on the drivers door of the train, you can slide the crown under and give it to K.I.N.G.

Step 7.) The Train Driver will push you off the train and leave you in Revolution. Sirens will begin and the sky will suddenly turn back. A new round will start and you must fight your way to the mining machine. It will activate and 115 will begin pumping through it. All players activating it will cause the map to shake. The Revolution can begin. All buildings will begin to pump out a dark smoke. This will then manifest itself into the shape of a slender figure, with long ears.

Resurrection Complex Quest:

Step 1.) Complete both chapters Easter Egg quests.

Step 2.) A disembodied voice much like Samantha’s demonic voice in the Origins loading screen will talk to the players. The voice identifies itself as Umbra. It explains how it had resurrected the group and will continue to until they can free it from its prison. All steps are directed by Umbra. First you must use your Shurikens to attack the train calling button. It will being to spark and then fizzle out. This will make the train return.

Step 3.) Now you must venture to Undertown and go to the foot of the mountain. Here you can then use the Draco Gauntlet to shoot down into the crater. The X-Dark Vessel will release a purple orb which will float up to the top of the mountain.

Step 4.) After this a shape will present itself in the ground of the factory. A player must control each pots in the right order to pour lava in. If done wrong the pots will return and have to wait for a round to refill with lava.

Step 5.) From this a blade will be created. But as it is very hot you must leave it as picking it up will damage you as if you are on fire, though it can be put back. You must go to the dripping tap in the house you first enter. Here you can turn it and make it pour water which will fill a bucket.

Step 6.) Take the bucket to the blade. Here you can pour it over the blade which will cool it off. You can then pick it up.

Step 7.) The blade must be then escorted to Revolution. It needs to be put into the extraction machine. This will begin to break it and make 115 go faster into it, overloading it.

Step 8.) Once the machine has overload, it will give you a small upgrade to your Shuriken. Now they will glow blue and reach higher. You will need to throw this up towards the top of the mountain. The purple orb will split into six separate orbs. These will float to random locations around the map.

Step 9.) Around the map will be paper lanterns. They are red and have a symbol on the front, inside is a purple light. First you must collect the lanterns. All of them will get put into a shared inventory meaning any player can obtain them and have access to them.

Step 10.) Now, you must go to Revolution again and go to the area near Juggernog. You can then place the lanterns all at once, they will surround the circular platform. After doing this you must kill zombies while on the mobile platform. When enough have been killed the lanterns will begin to glow orange.

Step 11.) After reobtaining the lanterns, you can now take them back to the mountain. At the foot of it will be six pedestals for you to place the lanterns. All that is left for you to do, is jump into the crater. Upon doing this you will not die and as you reach nearer to the bottom you will be transported to the top of the mountain. The Dragon will spawn and will begin circling the moon, while the Samurai will begin to climb the mountain. After putting up a strugglesome fight, the dragon will disappear into a green dust and fall into the lanterns. Then the Samurai will disappear into a red dust and fall into the lanterns. They will begin to rise into the sky and fly upwards into the sky. You will now have all perks and cannot use them. Also the Anvil will be half price.

Step 12.) Umbra will then tell you that you must leave here and do work elsewhere to free it. The group question what they need to do and are about to agree. But another voice intervenes. For the first time, Samantha will speak to you. She has her German voice still. Umbra will tell you to not listen to her, but she will pause all the zombies for the moment, like an EMP effect. She will say she can't stop them for long but they need to know the truth. Much like when teleporting, you will see images of the past of zombies. Maxis, Samantha, Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, Nikolai, Marlton, Misty, Russman and Samuel will appear along with locations that have been visited in the past. Then an image of a slender shadow will be shown. Samantha has told the history of what has happened up until now to the group. Suddenly they stop wanting to help Umbra and instead will do anything to stop it. They had found out that Umbra had intervened with Safe Haven, causing the undead to be there. Umbra had been controlling the dragon and had killed the group in the flames of the X-Dark Vessel. Samantha had been the one who had resurrected them so that the loop did not end and Umbra could be stopped. Umbra will begin to laugh, in the same laugh that can be heard at the end of Moon. Now, when activating the Wunder Bullet it will give you a choice. Go to Revolution or go to the world's salvation. Choosing the worlds salvation will send the group forward through time, they will become pure energy and pierce back into the future like a bullet.

Note Easter Egg:

On the chalkboard is a note which must have a sniper zoomed into it to see what it says. This note says: “- .... . / --. .. .- -. - / -.-. --- -- . - ....” Next to it is a picture of Der Riese.

Radios:

1.) Located at the foot of the mountain in Undertown: “Finally, the Wunder Bullet has been completed. Now the revolution can begin with a new age of transport and power. I only hope that element 115 does not affect the people inside the Wunder Bullet like it has with the citizens of Undertown.”- Ludvig Maxis

2.) Located next to the throne in Revolution: “The citizens of newer Tokyo seem to have been infected by the citizens from the Undertown. I have been told to evacuate but what surprised me is that the infection is now airborne and should be turning us into the undead, but it does not. The Wunder Bullet seems to have some shield around it which repels the undead and the infection, I assume that it must only repel the adverse effects of element 115. I will report back when I have reach Breslau.”- Ludvig Maxis
