If you guys haven't noticed, there have been MANY connections between Indiana Jones and the zombies story, especially after the fourth one.

Those aliens sure seemed a lot like the Vril Ya:

seems to fit in with the whole aliens theme.

Then we have the warehouse in the loading screen.

And then in the level REBIRTH in the campaign, (towards the end where you're playing as Hudson about to stop Mason from killing Steiner) there's a morgue with the name on it: JOHN LOSTARK.

Don't see it?

LOST ARK

Raiders of the Lost Ark?

Reference is it not?

And then the artifacts:

Indiana Jones and Richtofen are very similar characters. Both searching around the globe for ancient artifacts which contain GREAT powers.

This ties into a lot of stuff in zombies.

And perhaps they are trying to hint to us some place to look. 8-)

Wow....this is eerily coherent  Not to mention the whole Nuketown scene, though thats a link more to multiplayer than zombies....good work though! :)

I've posted this info on the conehead skull here:

This Crystal Skull is from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Watch these trailers. You might notice a few things

And I posted this info about the loading screen warehouse and the Griffin Station computers here:

Here is where I think the computers on Griffin Station come from....

(sorry the video was taken down)

the scene takes place in this warehouse ;)

I once asked AlphaSnake on his thoughts about if the Focusing Stone in Shangri La could possibly be related to the legendary Philosopher's Stone found in many other mythologies. And here's the carrot he gave me ;)

I have no doubt some of the inspiration for where zombies has developed up to now was also inspired by Indiana Jones. Good find! ;)

Pop Culture and Zombies are more intertwined than we may believe. I'm starting to believe that zombies is simply a retelling of Mary Shelley's fabled novel: Frankenstein.

Pure inspiration these days seems impossible, and every story we read is based on something else; it's just a matter of fact. That doesn't take away from their art value, though.

Good find.

P.S. I'm loving how you, Alpha, and Mix are all on the same page here.

Where exactly is this?
