"This Clan Already Exists"

As per the announcement today about Elite being free for BO2, I went to the site to check out my character and start a clan. I'm logged into Elite and connected with my Xbox gamertag, but don't pay.

But no matter what I put into the Create a Clan area, everything says "This Clan Already Exists".

I tried some good names, then random stuff like u802h8fd fdsudskj jfdsaiojvio etc.

Anyone know if this is a bug, or if maybe this isn't live yet ? Though it seems like there would be a better message than "This Clan Already Exists", or they wouldn't even allow you to try on the page.
