When the boss spawns in it will stand in place, and shoot electricity at the players, dealing large damage, then it will teleport to a new location and fire another bolt until it is killed by the player . "Him" will also latch onto and completely halt the bus if the player tries to ride away to escape. It cannot be killed with bullets, and can only be killed by melee attack or with an EMP Grenade. With the default knife, it will disappear after five hits. With the Bowie Knife, it will disappear in four hits. With the Galvaknuckles, it will die in two hits. "Him", also known as the Electric Man, is an ethereal humanoid enemy encountered in Tranzit. He appears to be made out of the nervous system of a man, including the brain, heart and eyes, with everything constant electrified. He was created by Broken Arrow at the Hanford Site, using a sample of Pernell (also known as Avogadro). Trapped in the site's power plant, it is unknown what exact purpose his creation had.
When the power is first switched on at the Power Station, "Him" is released and a thunderstorm starts raging in the sky. Afterwards, it has the ability to appear at all major locations throughout the map, with the exception of the Tunnel. It will appear in a large form similar to a Ball Lightning, then appear in a humanoid shape, and fire a bolt of electricity toward where the player was standing once he transformed. It can also zap the Bus, overloading the electrical circuits and disabling the Bus Driver for around one minute, longer if "Him" has not been defeated.
It can be defeated only with melee or one EMP Grenade, and it can only take damage when it is in humanoid form. Using the regular knife defeats it in five hits; using the Bowie Knife defeats it in four hits, and using the Galvaknuckles defeats it in two hits. The Zombie Shield also works although it deals the same damage as a knife.
Upon defeat, Avogadro will emit an eerie weak sound, spin around in a circular motion and then fly up and disappear back into the clouds, returning after a few rounds. Its appearance can be prevented by waiting for the thunderstorm to go away before killing the last zombie.
- In Alpha Omega we learn that Pernell, as well as "Him", are actually a person in ethereal form, similar to Gersch.
- In Tranzit's initial gamefiles, "Him" was called Avogadro, but this was later changed to "Him". Though many players still call him the Avogadro, it is never actually called like that in-game. Pernell however, in Alpha Omega, is.
- In Theater Mode, if the player goes to free-roam and look into the generator room before power is turned on, "Him" will be there trying to break out of the tower, but is unable to.
- "Him" will deal a very low amount of damage in its ball form if it gets close enough, however this is very unlikely, unless its attacking in a very tight space or corner.
