so I think I heard dr Monty say that the area were playing in revelations is the aether? I'm not sure tho can some one clarify this for me

In general terms, yes. Revelations is in the Aether. You are not physically in the Aether, but the universe(s)/reality around you is so fragmented and broken that you can see outside of that reality and into the Aether beyond.
