Fallout 4 DLC ideas

Recommended Posts

So, fallout 4 has been released, and it's amazing. Don't spoil anything about the game yet, aside from the opening and first mission (killing that first deathclaw in power armor).

However, the fun's just starting, as there's a seasons pass available for purchase that allows access to ALL DLC being released over the next year. But what will be in that DLC? Here are a few Ideas of mine, feel free to add your own:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1: Doomsday: A new building appears in the wasteland, within it lies a special machine known as the memory-A32 which allows you to view the lives of other people... Dead people for instance. You'll find the mind already in the machine belongs to a ghoul known as Jeremy "Flack Jacket" Smith. An ex-secret service agent. The DLC will consist of you living out his life during the end of the world, and then him as a ghoul in the wasteland of Washington DC shortly after.

The game starts off similar to the original story, where a man wakes up from his lonely apartment, gets dressed, goes outside and catches the bus to work AT the whitehouse. He enters, gets checked, and all's find and dandy, he even gets to see the president. Then a red light goes off "Code Red, nuclear detonations are imminent." It's then your job to save the president by bringing him to the war bunker. Inside the bunker there's an issue: Someone has to retaliate. You selflessly sacrifice yourself to venture back outside with the launch codes. You're successful and manage to launch nuclear weapons back at the world. However, you yourself did not escape the blasts... You watch in agony and pain as you're blown away like a ragdoll and your skin burns green. For years you lie dormant. You awake 150 years later when a raider finally pulls the rubble off you.

"Meh... It's just a corpse... Old one... Might be a ghoul.... "

"Oh my head...."

"Shit... This thing's alive!"

His first shot takes off your left forearm, but then you manage to defeat him with melee attacks, because, you know, you're a secret service agent.

The person the raider was talking to wasn't actually a raider, in fact the other person was in a brothers of steel power armor suit named "Eric". Don't mess with him, instead, pick up the stealth boy on the ground nearby and slip away. Exit the rubble and you'll find a pipboy, and you'll find out you're sitting in the ruins of abraham lincoln's monument.  You have other problems tough... While your melee damage is strong, but you can't hold any weapon besides a pistol. You need power armor, so you head to the washington monument, where you hope to find the secret power-armor stash.

Once you arrive... It's sad... There is nothing left. It's all been raided by the brothers of steel and raiders. Looking around however, you can find one of each power armor piece to craft something called "Prototype J power armor". Repair it, and equip it. Then here are the notable differences between regular power armor and Prot-J armor.

-1: You don't need to exit the suit to input fusion cores. Likewise fusion cores last much longer. Also, you can cook, craft, and even repair and modify power armor inside the suit.

-2: Abby is an in-suit computer AI designed to act as your pip-boy and companion.

-3: Your storage space is maxed out.

-4: You have a special bar in the bottom right, when it's filled by collecting fuel canisters, allows your basic melee to obtain the added bonus of a junk-jet.

New Upgrades:

Junkjet can be traded out for cryo-blaster, flamer, or plasma rifle.

Once you get into the power armor, it short-circuits, leaving you trapped in there permanently.

Once you complete that there's a series of missions for you to complete from Abby involving a lot of crazy and FUN things. However, the craziest thing is when you single handedly storm the somewhat eviler brotherhood of steel's main fortress: The whitehouse, the most protected building in america. Have fun. Afterwards you'll find that Abby isn't meant to help you, she's meant to retaliate with nuclear force. She ejects you from the suit and walks around on  her own. It's your job now to kill abby by one of three ways:

1-make your way back to the washington monument and shut her down by lock-picking the door and activating the manual over-ride.

2- Simply blasting the crap out of her with the strongest pistol you have.

3- Destroy the nuke with your weapons and hacking skills. (Metaphorically speaking, there are no SPECIAL skills in this DLC, everything is maxed out to begin with).

Once you stop her, return to her suit. It's still functional but doesn't have abby anymore. Note: Once you enter the suit, Eric will appear again, and with his dying act, remove your fusion core. You'll then be thrown into a cargo-container and brought back to boston in the brothers of steel airship. You'll be dropped off at the building with the memory-A32, and you'll see a code be put into the locked door behind you, then you'll be stripped of your power armor, and left. Crawl to the chair and sit in it. Then watch as your character comes in and sits down in the opposing chair.

Afterwards Jeremy Flackjacket will get up and even offer himself as a companion, but the REAL reward from him is the ability to flat out steal his power armor from the next room.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'll have more ideas later, but feel free to add your own.
