New customization? Or is treyarch just teasing us again?

So, when questioned by syndicate, treyarch responded to the idea of customization in BO3 with a vague answer I can't think of right now and my internet's too slow for my impatient self to work with. EITHER WAY, they responded with the statemen that it COULD potentially be coming to zombies. 

However, this wouldn't be the first time COD has gone back on these half-promises. I personally don't think it will come. But, I've been wrong about just about everything else so far! What do you guys think? Will PC finally get some upgrades from treyarch for their custom zombie hunger?
