All of this stuff to me looks really nice and smooth. I expected zombies at the end as well when it went dark, they did it well. Very interesting with the cap and the hoodie, seems like its not something we have seen before.

Anyone else notice that the colour and lighting of the little snippet matches the wall weapon picture from the DICE presentation?

Yes I saw that too. I wonder if the first map is linked to it in some way?

That was a really good reveal, and there were some nice little things in it. I personally love that the blood and gore is back in Multiplayer, and the underwater shooting can easily be worked into that underwater zombies map that was always discussed.

Huh, I thought that blood and gore looked like it was in Campaign.

It's confirmed to be in both! Check the scene of the specialist character (with the bow, I forget her name). The enemy literally explodes into 100 pieces... Aside from that, the shots of shotgun kills in slow motion show arms being blown off. I was confused at first too, because it's a mix of campaign and multiplayer and it was hard to tell them apart. Which is actually pretty good. ;)

That's pretty cool! First time since WaW to have blood and gore in multiplayer.

Yep! First time since World at War that we're getting a co-op campaign and a beta, too. Treyarch has definitely taken advantage of the 3-year-cycle, and I can't wait to play it myself.

I find the beta thing distasteful to be honest. We are essentially paying to beta test their games. Normally this would go to people in the form of jobs, instead it goes from the consumer's wallet. Or in this case to pre-order sales at Gamestop.

Honestly, I wasn't to excited for the trailer. It looked… cool. It looked like Call of Duty. I see many people are comparing it to the last Call of Duty, because of the mechanization. I can see that, but they seem to be doing it quite differently. Call of Duty has been becoming less and less of a "realistic" genre series and more and more into a science fiction one. That's okay with my part, partly because they were never that realistic (although the historical storytelling was good).

And adding that the only thing on zombies was a yellow-eyed zombie with a hat, I'm not super dazzled or anything. It didn't really give us much information. Btw, the hat was in style back in WWII, but that shape of hat is still used today. Perhaps a pilot zombie? Perhaps the reason I'm not so impressed is because the answer of whether this story (campaign or zombies) is related to the past Black Ops has yet to be cemented, and that worries me more than anything.

Yes! No doubt about it!

And @MysteryMachineX, granted about the hat. But the way they did that so subtly is a very strong indication that we're looking at the return of the true Zombies. :D 'Cause Treyarch loves to tease us and they knew we'd flip shit if we saw a Nazi Zambie return to the game.

Or they could just be messing with us for the sake of it? It wouldn't be the first time. It isn't so subtle actually. The hat takes up a good 5-10% of the screen, adorning the most focal point of the sole character in the shot. When we saw TranZit for the first time, we saw the same kind of hat. But it wasn't a Nazi, no. It was a bus driver.

For those who have played the Black Ops 1 campaign, doesn't this part of the trailer look eerily similar to when Mason Executed Steiner? In the snapchat teasers, Dr. Salim talked about the test subjects having "attacks" and thinking that the implanted memories are their own. What if this character with the gun somehow has Mason's memories, or what if they are using the same brainwashing technology to control the soldiers? Resnov may have messed with the entire technology rather than just Mason, and in turn affected those in the future.

The character yelling and kicking down the door reminds me a lot of Hudson's role in that BO1 mission... And the fact that we don't see the gun holder's face and the background is blacked out means this section is important...
