Cutscene:

“The latest zombie outbreak has occurred within the hospital behind me. The entire building has been put in lockdown as we try to get a hold of the situation. There might still be some survivors inside and we are working as fast as we can.”

The Look of the Map”

Overall the map is very grim and very dark. Almost like a slaughterhouse. Most of the time you will barely be able to see unless you turn on the power. The map is a more realistic portrayal of a zombie outbreak. There are no happy endings, people are dying, and in the future the whole world will be nothing but death. You always play maps like Tranzit or Die rise but you never think about who the zombies were back when they were still human. Which is something we tend to forget while playing zombies. So consider this map concept me Trying to bring back the Horror and Tragedy into zombies.

Area 1. The Roof

When you spawn you begin on the Roof of the Hospital. The Clouds are grey and ugly as the sound of Moans escape the mouths of the undead. This area is flat and square. While zombies climb in from the ventilation shafts. Quick revive is here as well as the usual starting weapons. There is not much to see here so you will need to travel down.

Area 2: Recovery Room

This area can be accessed by climbing down the stairs and opening the door. Once you open the door though you will notice something you haven’t seen in a zombies map before. Civilians being attacked by zombies. Upon opening the door you will see a group of zombies chasing after a civilian. Shooting the zombies and saving the civilian will award you with Bonus Points. However if the civilian is Killed then he/she will reanimate as a zombie shortly. The recovery room has a U shaped front desk which connect to 3 other Hallways containing different rooms which the zombies spawn from. Outside the recovery room there is a waiting room and a window with a view of the outside. You can see the crowd of people on the street looking up at the building. As always you will be able to access the Mystery Box in Each area except the Roof. The only perk in the area is doubletap

Area 2: The Operating Dome

The hospital has a dome Like view of the operating table for medical students. On the operating table you will see zombies devouring the patient. You can’t save him. This area is circular and filled with cameras and equipment.

Area 3:The Nursery

Upon entering the Nursery you will notice a glass window. 2 Zombies will be in the room behind it slowly approaching a group of crying newborns. You can save the newborns by killing the zombies before the lights go out in the room. If you successfully kill the zombies then the lights will go out and when they turn on again the Cradles will be empty and the door open meaning that someone came in and rescued them successfully. If you fail to kill the zombies the lights will go out and when they turn back on the walls are stained in Blood. The nursery is mostly filled with Zombie Nurses. Many of the rooms  are somewhat larger that the ones in the recovery room. The hallways are also much larger

Area 4: The ground floor Lobby

The ground floor is a big square shaped area in the very center of the hospital. To the left there is a pilar shaped elevator going up to other floors. First time you look at the elevator you can see the box falling down the shaft as people scream inside. When it crashes to the ground floor zombies will spawn from inside. There are savable survivors here as well. The ground floor is great for training zombies unlike the other areas of the hospital which are mostly cramped hallways with an occasional medium sized area to run around. Everything surrounding the main lobby is made of glass and if you look up you will see zombies pounding on the glass. Occasionally one of the windows will break and a zombie will fall from the upper floors down to the ground and splatter all over the place. Sometimes they survive and become crawlers. The ground floor has a few sub areas such as a gift shop and a drug store. They are not as big as the main lobby but they are big enough for players to camp In and try to hold out. Juggernog can be found in the drug store and speed cola in the gift shop

Area 5: The cafeteria

The cafeteria is a bunch of Tables here and there, some circular and others large and rectangle, while others are booths. Many of the tables are flipped over in in attempt to create barricades. However all failed. The cafeteria is more open that the nursery and the Viewing dome. However there are still obstacles here in which power is recommended ut not necessary for survival. The walls are bloody but beneath all the blood there are paintings of different locations of the world, landmarks and people. You can find the Pack a Punch here behind a gate. You can only access the pack a punch by turning the power on in the cafeteria and then waiting for the clock to hit 12. This will consume power.

Characters

Mulligan: A special Operative sent in to kill the undead and save any survivors left in the building. Mulligan wears body armor and is bald. His colors are Blue and Black.

Spencer: Spencer is a CDC member who volunteered to enter the hospital in order to get some fresh samples of undead brains. He is curious about what brings the dead to life. Unlike mulligan who just wants to destroy them all. Spencer wear black and yellow body armor and wears a gasmask for his own protection

Liz: Liz is a Medic and soldier sent in to help any wounded survivors. She has short punk hair and a scar across her face. Wears white and Black Body armor

Derek: Derek is a scientist who wants to study undead behavior first hand. This kind of study cannot be recreated in a Lab because doing so means unleashing zombies on civilians on purpose. Although he hates the attire, he is forced to wear Green and Black Body armor for his own safety.

Survivors

Survivors are NPC that appear only whenever a Door is bought. Upon entering a room you might witness a civilian being attacked by zombies. Killing the zombies near him/her will

Power

The power in this map is extremely different that previous maps. Now there is a Battery meter at the very bottom left screen. You can turn on Power in each area individually but whenever the area has power the battery begins to count down. The hospital is working on a backup generator and power can only be routed to one area at a time. Unlike other maps where there is one power switch, in Lockdown each area has it’s own power switch. Activating the switch will turn on the power in that particular room and shut down power in the other room. If you run out of power then the lights will turn off all around the Hospital. When the lights are off it will leave you in total darkness save for a few flickering Lights. You have enough visibility to survive but lights are still very important if you want to avoid the Boss.

New Powerup drop

ENERGIZE!!!!: Energize will recharge your power

Zombies

The Zombies in this map are much more gorey that previous zombie models. Faces are torn off, bones are cracked and sticking out of the skin. Some of them drag their intestines around on the floor. Crawlers sometimes leave behind their internal organs as they chase you around. Using next gen graphical capabilities the undead now loose flesh wherever bullets hit. Instead of just the same chunks seen in black ops 2 . Shooting your starting pistol at a zombies face will slowly tear away at the facial features revealing red muscles and flesh even leaving eye sockets empty. Same thing goes for all body parts.

Doctor Zombies: Zombies in medical attire

Nurse zombies: Nurses that have reanimated

Patient Zombies: Zombies which have reanimated while being treated.

Civilian Zombies: Zombies that were reanimated in the waiting lobby

Guard Zombies: Zombies wearing security guard uniforms.

Boss

Model 00 Fool

Fool is a Robotic humanoid AI that can crawl on the ceilings. It’s eyes glow Blue and throughout the game will wander in through the ventilation shafts. Looking down at you. Fool will only attack you if you attack it. However due to it having Blue eyes and the map being so dark it can easily be mistaken for a zombie. When provoked its eyes begin to glow red and it will begin to attack. It can leap down from the ceiling, or chase after players twice as fast as regular zombies can. When it downs you it keeps attacking you which makes you Bleed out faster. A good tactic to avoid confronting Fool is to turn on the power in the area where you hear a mechanical buzzing sound. That way you can see where Fool is and avoid shooting it. Just remember to keep an eye on the power meter. The AI is in a way similar to chappie but without the rabbit like ears and the eyes are not screens but rather 2 glowing orbs. The mouth has teeth although they are mostly for show. Fool has a set of Gears on it's back which act as a vulnerable spot if you wind up having to fight it.

Easter Egg Song

Activate by finding 3 Zombie Xrays. They Glow.

Easter Egg Quest

Step 1: You will need to go to the cafeteria and look for repair tools on the one of the corpses. You will need to search each corpse like in Buried.

Step 2: Once you have the repair Kit you must go to each area and locate the powerbox in each area.

Step 3: You must search for broken wires on the ground. This can not be done with the power off. Unless the power is On the wires are invisible to the eye. ( The wires change position every game )

Step 4: You must repair each wire by holding X.

Step 5: The wires must be repaired in the correct Order and if you fix one in the wrong order you must start over

Step 6: Once the Wires are all fixed go to the Emergency Power room underneath the Hospital. You can access this area only during the easter egg but once you reach this point you can access it whenever. Take the Second Elevator which up until now looked like scenery.

Step 7: Crank the switch. Have a buddy cover you because this switch needs to be cranked for a solid minute by holding down X. The noise will attract the attention of all the dead in the area which will come running towards the source of the sound.

Step 8: You will hear a Buzzing sound and the power will come back on.

The Emergency Power Room

The Emergency power room is a dark room with a Power switch in it. It is medium sized and resembles tranzit's generator room but smaller and with steel plated walls instead of shiny walls.

Reward: Once the egg is completed the Power will remain on for the rest of the Game.

Dude, you said you were going to bring back tragedy to zombies but... the part with the babies really got me dude, I actually imagined playing and panicking about it. I also cared. Do the group of babies have significance in the future actually? They seem like they could do. Also the Fool, I am really interested by that and I want to see some background to him, maybe on the Oracle? Finally, I wanna say that the power is interesting, we get off to easily with the power in some maps such as Buried or Die Rise so this is a nice change of pace.

The Fool is watching what you are doing

Saving civilians might not seem rewarding due to no powerups or perks being given to you. But remember....the Fool is Watching
