Motd Revisited.

 

Story

There is panic on the Streets as 5 Friends get on a Boat. The city if on fire and there is No way to Save them. As the 5 set off on the Boat a Creature with a tentacle Pulls one of the Survivors into the Water and he is No longer seen again. None of these characters have any idea of what they are going to do next until they See Alcatraz Island in the Distance. When they Arrive on the Island they Find the Prison resembles some sort of Meat Locker. Bodies Dangling, Strange Symbols on the Wall, and partially Eaten Bodies on the Ground. However there are No Zombies. Suddenly our 4 Characters begin to feel strange….as if they have been here before. The whole prison just seems…Familiar

Map Layout New Features only

 

Overall the Map is similar in Layout to the Original However some Notable changes include the Weather. While the Inside of the Building is Clear and vision is Easy the Outside of the Building has Some Fog. Mostly around the Edges of the Map and Vision of the Mainland impossible Making the Map feel even more secluded that the original. At this Point you have No Knowledge about what is going on in the Outside world. However you Do have some small Hints at what other Survivors are Turning into Mostly Through Prison Diary Entries which your character reads aloud whenever interacted with. A bit different than Radios.

 

The Generator Room

 

The generator Room which in the Original map was used as Passage from the staircase to the Docks is now Flooded with Water up to your Knees. There are some weapons on the Wall however the Area Changes Depending if you have the Power on or Off. Turning the Power On will Cause the Area to become Fatal if you try to Pass through. However if the Power is off then Passage is Clear.

 

Power Room

 

The Power can be turned on from the Wardens Office However that Now requires the Warden’s Key in order to Access. The Key in Now more difficult to get and Can Spawn in any area on the Map. The Power allows for the Use of the Gondola as well as gives you access to some doors that are not accessible unless the power is on However it will not activate Perks.

 

The dig site

 

The dig site is a tunnel created by the Flesh. They tried to go downwards for some reason but eventually the tunnel ends. There are rocks on the Ground and bloody symbols on the walls. Some dig site tunnels will go nowhere while other tunnels will take you somewhere else.

The Pack a Punch Cave

 

The Pack a Punch is located in a secret are within the dig site. It is sitting in the middle of an underground Lake. The lake is composed of Blood.

 

New Zombies and Creatures

 

The Golem- The New Special Appearing in this Map is a Slimy Creature that has a Humanoid appearance. The hands are Webbed and it has Many Faces around it’s Body. It is similar to George Romero since it is Always around the Map and can take Heavy amounts of Damage before Dying. It’s 2 Arms are Shackled and will wander around dragging it’s chains along the ground. The Special thing about this Creature is that It has No eyes. So it won’t attack you Unless it can sense your Movements. It can Also Hear you. Loud Noises such as Doors Opening or Perks Being Bought even the Jingle of the Mystery Box will trigger it and cause it to Run on a Rampage and destroy the Source of the Sound. Meaning you will sometimes need to Get Juggernog after getting downed only to find the Golem lurking near the Juggernog. Buying the Perk will sound the Jingle and make it Go Berserk. Leading to some new strategies on how to Avoid the Golem altogether.

Flesh Cultist: Flesh Cult Members took Residence in Alcatraz after the Outbreak turned them Mad. Their Eyes Glow Blue and unlike the Undead they can Think and Plan ahead. They appear every 5 rounds and are responsible for the Golem being Chained Up. They are weaker that Zombies due to the fact that they are still Living and all of them Can hear Richtofen whom they refer to as, Our God, or The Lord. Their Attack Patterns Include trying to Stab you and sometimes even Biting you. They make the same Noises as the Zombies and also cry out sam however this is most likely due to them trying to imitate the Undead.

 

Perk Machines

 

Perk machines are still in their usual locations and PHD is not in this Map. Electric cherry is still on the map however there is now a new Perk machine that replaces Deadshot.

 

Bloody Mary: Bloody Mary is a Brand new perk made from Zombie Blood. It is Red and gives Players the Ability to use Supernatural Powers depending on how much Blood they have Drunk.

 

Drinking Blood is easy, kill zombies to Fill the Blood Meter then use your abilities. LB can be used to Shock Zombies ( Replacing afterlife shock) Up on the D Pad will now equip you with a Howl attack that can be used to Push groups of zombies backwards sometimes Killing them. Cornered? Push them Back! with RT when equipped.

 

Powering Perks

 

Powering Perks has been simple before now. Usually you go to the power room and turn the switch on. However now you have a bit more challenge. Each Perk has a Blood Vial next to it. You must kill Zombies near the Perk and let the Blood drip down. This will fill the Perk machine and turn it on. You will have to do this with each perk. The Pack a Punch is Excluded from this system and can be used when the power is turned on using the switch.

 

 

New Buildables

The Silencer: The Silencer is a Buildable that Silences your weapon. It allows you to Use your Gun Closer to the Golem without triggering it. However if you are very close to the Golem you will still trigger it.

 

Land Mines: Land Mines are a New Buildable. Unlike the Claymore the Land Mine is Filled with Nails, Bolts and Sharp Objects so when it explodes it sends off Debris flying everywhere which rips zombies apart. Perfect for Demolishing Large Trains however you can only carry One at a time.

 

Zombie Shield: Similar to the Zombie Shield from Tranzit however it now has some New Animations. When you hit zombies with your shield it impales them with and they get stuck to the shield. You can then Toss the Zombie by knifing with the Shield.

 

Wonder Weapons

The Hells Retriever: The Hells retriever can be Obtained by completing 3 Flesh Rituals around the Map. Once those 3 Rituals are Performed you are rewarded with a Hells retriever.

 

The Ripper: The Ripper is a New Special Knife. It is made out of Human Bone and has twin snakes on the handle while Blood is Dripping from the Handle and Blade. It was once used by Flesh Cultists to perform Rituals.

The Blundergat: The Blundergat is a weapon from a different dimension. It was discovered after a Blood Ritual

 

 

 

Radios

 

“ This entire Island is Secluded from the Mainland. My name is Josh Donaldson. I was a College Student until….well….the incident. Me and Group of Survivors managed to stay alive for a Few Weeks but the cities are getting crazy. Zombies and Monsters running around everywhere and people keep hearing Voices in their Heads and from Electronics. I feel like there is something much greater going on here but I am just a casualty caught in the crossfire. We came here to Alcatraz because it seemed like a Safe Place. Water on all sides, long distance from the mainland. Good rocks around. Zombies can’t swim can they? “

“ We found a radio in the supply Closet. It keeps giving out Orders but it’s not talking to us because we aren’t doing anything and these Orders are Being Completed. We haven’t received a normal Broadcast in a while except for that other Transmission last week. We do not have to resort to that. Why would we? We have food we don’t need to….besides…wouldn’t eating…that…Poison you?

 

“ We keep hearing voices…. we believe the key to salvation lies beneath. We have begun to dig downwards according to his instructions. Recently a group of survivors arrived at the prison. We ate well that night. They did not hear the voice, they were not chosen. We are the Flesh and the Flesh and we are the chosen people of our God. We must Dig with our own fingernails if we have to. Keep descending downwards”

 

“ What...where are we?....what was that…. I can”t see anything in this fog…. Hello... is that you? What? Go deeper? Find what? Oh...hello there….( The Golem Roars) Get out! back through the Portal! ( Portal sounds) Wrap it in chains! ( Crunching noises) gakkckd……… ( Voices in the distance) bring it down! down you fools! Into the cell!”

 

Ending ( Easter egg A Only )

All Characters Now Believe that they are replaying the Events that happened in the 1930’s and the Only way out is to Finish the Story Once and For all. To do that either Arlington Dies or the other 3 Die. Using the Plane all 4 of them Travel to the Bridge which to them Looks Like it Did while it was under construction. None of them have said anything to the Other characters about what they intend to do once they arrive.  Zombies begin to Spawn in with Red Eyes and they Hear the Voice of Richtofen in their Heads Telling them that their only way to Freedom is to Finish the Story. After a Standoff on the Bridge Arlington Kills His former Friends. Relieved that the Nightmare will soon be over Arlington sits down on the ground. However…..the Zombies Keep Coming now with Blue Eyes. The Bridge is Complete and there is an entire Mob of the Dead quickly Approaching his Position. Arlington dies Never realizing that all the Images he saw were just Illusions Created By some Higher Power for it’s entertainment. Richtofen Laughs and the Screen Fades to Black…..

Blood in your veins: Turn on all facilities in a Single Game

 

Historian: Collect all Diary Entries

 

 

 

 

Easter Egg Steps

 

Step 1- Activate Memory Mode by locating a randomly spawning shiv. press x

 

Step 2- The Prison will turn Black and White and your character Models will change.

 

Step 3- Kill the red eyed warden zombie running around the map before the map changes back

 

Step 4- Find a secret diary that spawned in the map. press x

 

Step 5- Memory mode again. find the 5 Plane Parts before time runs out and build the Plane

 

Step 6- Color return, This time go to the Roof  and get on the Plane During  memory mode

 

Step 7- Arlington Must Kill the other 3 or the game will just end. In order tog et the cutscene Arlington must murder his friends.

 

Easter Egg B

 

Step 1: Perform the 3 Rituals

 

Step 2: Using the Hells Retriever collect the 5 Glowing Skulls.

 

Step 3: A glowing pentagram will appear somewhere around the map. Go to it and start slaughtering zombies using the ripper. The pentagram will move around the map so follow it and keep slaughtering till the pentagram turns blue.

 

Step 4: Enter the Tunnels. There is a Piece of Rock on the Altar. Pick it up.

 

Step 5: Run around the Prison and Locate the other stones.

 

Step 6: Rebuild the Gate

 

Step 7: Sacrifice a Teammate using the Ripper which will now have the ability to hurt teammates just for this segment.

 

Step 8: The Blood of your friend is a worthy sacrifice the Gate Opens

 

Step 9 : Enter the Portal

 

Step 10 : You are now surrounded by Denizens, Stalkers, and Golems as well as Zombies from different time Periods. Knights, Astronauts, vikings, priests, nazis, soldiers, civilians, slavers, Their Eyes glow Red and they come after you

SECRET AREA.

Underworld: This area resembles a cavern with red stones. There is Fog everywhere and you can barely see yet it is still easy to navigate. You will be able to hear voices coming from the distance. Could this be Hell? or perhaps this is the place that Hell was Based on. If it’s not hell then….where are you…...The Game Ends when you all die but instead of hearing the usual Game Over you hear something different….You hear Silence...

 

GAME OVER!!!!

I kind of really want more continuation to this story. The flesh is really cool and the secret area thing, it really intrigued me. Also the Golem, that is something that you should be really proud of. A blind boss that can hear things you do. Its really cool, I think that if you go back to making normal map ideas you should think big.
