Next Staff Meeting: Community Input

Hey Folks, we are now just eight short days away from the one year anniversary of the last DLC drop for Black Ops II. It is absolutely incredible to have so many dedicated members who stuck with us through the off season, and it is truly our pleasure to have you all here at CoDz! We value the opinions of our members above all else and are always eager for feedback. On to the point of the topic…

On August 22, 2014 we will be holding a staff meeting; before that meeting takes place we would like to open up the floor (thread) to all of you. Please leave any suggestions, changes, or just general talking points you would like us to discuss in the comments below. All ideas will be taken into consideration by the team and we will provide feedback following the meeting. If you wish to keep your suggestion private feel free to pm me (Boom) directly.

I think staff is doing an exellent Job so far. Especially with the restriction for new members in the chat. I like NV idea about chat having sound effects. If this were done I would suggest the teleporting soud effect.

I know naitrax brought up the point about people making short posts and other that post 3 seperate parts for something that could be made into one post. Perhaps a time limit between posts? Like every 24 hours you can make a new post. However you can comment as much as you like.

I think this would encourage members to make the full post because they would have to considerr wait 3 days to complete your post or have the complete post up and running immediately.

Please no. I, and many others, have a very limited time period they can be on CoDz, and I want to post multiple threads, I need to be able to. To reduce spam, you should employ this, but only on the "new member" user group. That way, we can deal with spambots before they even make a second thread.

But please, don't punish the people who stay.

Yes teleporting sound would be great. Imagine if when there are more than say 30 users on chat (which I hope there will be in 2015) the fire sale song starts lol. 

 

I think if you reach a certain amount of posts and have been on Cod Z for say a year you should get a purple name likes Undads because purple is the best.

And will we get a Advanced Warfare forum once the game releases? With subforums like Singleplayer, Multiplayer and Horde Mode with Mechs. :3 Should give us plenty to talk about until it's Treyarch's turn again.

It was always nice to check on it from time to time, but maybe make it so that we can't reply to dead topics?

Yes please! The Graveyard was pretty damn fun to crawl through, just seeing all the removed topics. Maybe have a group of people set up to divide it into sections, like a "spam" section so that we don't have to sift through these looking through it.

For real though, we should have another group like "infamous" which is awarded to posters with constant outstanding posts. It should also be black and white striped! (Or maybe a greenish blue if it has to be solid.)

You misunderstand what she means. She wants a mature section, not somewhere to post offensive content.

The graveyard was never meant to be public. It was an accidental after-effect from a crash that happened a long time ago. The staff just didn't notice for a long time because we were supposed to be able to see it, so nothing was out of the ordinary.

 

I think more clarification would be needed to define what the 'adult section' should contain. Just saying 'adult content' isn't actually saying anything as that could range from discussions on propane, to pornography. 

 

I cannot think of anything particularly urgent that needs to be added to the current list.

@Boom I don't mean post like 9/11 jokes or something, no, but I guess a place where they're more acceptive of adult-type jokes, discussions, just certain things like that. And of course a certain word when I'm quoting rap lyrics
