EXPERIMENTS IN THE REVIVAL OF AN ORGANISM

[youtube:3bv1btru]EbG9TJTD7Ug[/youtube:3bv1btru]

In 1940, Russian scientists re-animate clinically dead k-9 corpses. In one experiment re-animate the individual organs of a dead dog (heart, lungs & brain). In the second experiment, the scientists drain a dog of all it's blood, wait for it to die, then a few minutes later pump fresh blood back into the dog, bringing him back to life. These experiments led to heartpumps called 'autojectors', and eventually led open heart transplant surgeries. The operations performed in this video are directed by Doctor Sergei S. Bryukhonenko.

That is unreal.

I'd seen the film before.

But after watching it again, I'm amazed at what can be done.

10 minutes of clinical death, they didn't mention brain damage at any point.

I wonder if they did this to Human test subjects.

Infact I think it is safe to say at some point this would have been done to Humans.

Once again fact produces stranger results than fiction.

Could this mean that Nixion could return in 2025?

Nixon: ARROOOOOO!

Nixon: [following his re-election] NIXON'S BACK!

Nixon: That's it! You just made my list!

Nixon: Our planet has been through a lot this year, but we have not forgotten what is truly important... the great taste of Charleston Chew!

Nixon: We Earthicans stand erect, with proud up thrust bosoms.

Fry: Anyone who laughs is a Communist.

Nixon: [on dollar bill] Quick, shoot 'em in the back, while they're not looking [shifts eyes]

Nixon: The one secret no one ever suspected is that I DID stage the moon landing … on Venus! ARROOOOO! Muahahaha!

I'll bet Treyarch read a few of those before making Nixions dialogue.

Great post Mix, also reminded me of the bad guy from Crank, in Crank II his head is alive from a similar set up in a fish tank:

I would assume the experiments were carried out on human's as well, based on the diagram shown for "prefusing animal heads". It's just too bizzare that they'd put the back of a human head there instead of a K-9 or some other type of animal.

And LOL, Seeing Nixon's head like that reminded me of Episode 6 of Guns & Gardens

(which is a web-series I recommend to anyone interested in surviving the impending zombie apocalypse)
