Call of the Dead mule kick glitch

So I am having this glitch with cotd where mule kick only shows up if I delete the map pack, redownload, sing out of live, start a game on that map, sign into live (which causes a glitch where the voices disappear), quit that game and then when I start a new game mule kick is there until I quit the game, any ideas on a fix?

Mule kick will only appear when you are connected to the internet and signed in. Don't immediately start the game when you first sign in, let it connect. It may help if you play a match of multiplayer to ensure you are connected.

there's one building on the map, where the only english part is BUTCHER.
