Maybe the ship was one he would be on already, and since he was a high ranking official in the Nazi regime, he figured he would be sent to the trials. He knew the Russians were looking for someone so he contacted them and gave them his plans. He sabotaged Kino and left on the ship so he could continue work with Russia. The Ruskies came and got him and that's that.

Sound good? And in the mission don't you play as Nazi's? Maybe learned of what he did and went to get him?

No you play as Russians in the Project Nova if thats what your asking. Although near the middle Steiner shoots one of the German soldiers so I guess he cut all ties with the Nazi's at that point. I like and agree with your theory. So where was Maxis when Steiner sabotaged?

Maybe. The only outbreaks that we know that happened during the time of the campaign is "Five" and Ascension.

I have now come to realize zombies will be one of those things that I will miss but it will lift a lot off of my daily schedule (in a bad way)....its one of those things that you love but it is so addicting you can't ignore it :geek: and it will be good and bad when it is done.

Back on topic though.....I think NOW a double timeline could be more likely.....like one richtofen in Ascension and one in Kino :)
