Your greatest Zombie accomplishments in the last few weeks?

Recommended Posts

Okay, I finally have something for this! Today I was playing Origins with randoms. I realized they were the typical box hungry players, and decided to get set up on my own rather than wait for their help. I bought the door into and out of the workshop, and powered up gen 4 without going down. Next, I acquired enough points to buy jug before round 8. when round 8 started, I ran out of ammo and all my teammates died out, so I lost most of my reserve points. I was forced to use the zombie blood in spawn and knife until I got enough points to hit box (at spawn) once. I got a PDW 57 and clutched the round for the first time! I was so proud of myself I did a celebratory air-knifing dance :D anyone else ever experience something so minuscule yet magnificent? :)

My greatest zombie achievement in recent memory is still coming on this site. Haven't played in months.

No, this isn't the dickish "I'm too cool for zombies now" or "zombies has lost all meaning to me." Well, maybe a little of the second, but I haven't been able to play in forever. I kinda want to play it a bit now after like 5 months, but won't be able to for awhile.

That's a sore one but I respect your mum and dad for that. School is extremely important, I wish I had the ability to rewind time and listen and learn at school.

I am maybe being a bit premature with my own accomplishment, but I intend on trying to get to 75+ (preferably 100) on Buried without registering ANY kills on my leaderboard.

I played a speed run on Buried a few weeks back and managed to get to round 74 with only 1900 kills on solo using the resonator and turbine strategy and it made me realize that if I can get everything done on round 1 and just use the resonator the whole time, I could potentially make it through the entire game without actually getting any kills and I also think it would look pretty neat to have a high round recorded with no kills yet it is completely legit.

Hopefully I can return to this thread if I DO manage to accomplish this. :)

I did it solo when the game first came out, to 32 with no credited kills (saved in theater). It takes a lot of time and effort. Good luck on 75.

After not playing for 4 months, i did 28 solo Origins despite constant glitches, and did 44 on Die Rise with no downs for the thousandth time (then fell off of the roof, derp-style). Also discovered that the elevators are moving much faster than they used to.

I also tested a time bomb/pap thing out which did not work, but at least i know for sure now.

Well the other day i hit the coveted 300,000 zombie kills (sadly, the first 3 months i played offline or i would have had it sooner).

At the same time, i hit the 1 million bullets fired mark. It took me longer than some on my friends list, due to the fact that i stab and use grenades quite a bit.

I was 730th place in the world for traveled miles, but went up over 2000 by not playing for 4 months. Now back down to 1300, just trying to get back below 1000th place.

I did the cheaty 3 staff Origins thing for fun and figured out how to get them back if you go down. I know, hate me if you need to. You can easily do 2 each with 2 people.

And i got to 45 solo on Origins before i died to the ubiquitous 'charged staff didn't fire' glitch. Glitcher dies to glitch, film at eleven.

Silly: played Die Rise with zombie buddy and his 'no so great at zombies' friend. Somewhere around 13, i took a drink and as i leaned back over, by some evil miracle, my toe magically managed to tap the tiny little 'open drawer' button on the 360E and i was gone from the game. It was custom, so i joined back in, played into the 20s then stupidly let the rg2 push me backwards off of the building while firing. Came back (with a Semtex glitch from who's who), built back up before we died pathetically on 28, but i was glad because between my two in game appearances, i pulled in over 1000 kills. My buddy who often kills faster than I, only had 750ish. Our other buddy killed like 300, which was pretty low considering he was always with us, shooting at them.

Happy gaming!

My answer kinda suck, perhaps a bit corny.

None of achievements are worth mentioning, as none of them are cool in other people's eyes. One game however, made me the coolest dad in my son's eyes.

He loves Choppernator's NML videos, and considers him his idol. When he found out I was in a game with Chopper, he thought I was awesome. I told him Chopper and Eye begged me to play with them.

Wow Jay thank you so much for telling me that.  That's always been the only reason for me to make videos, to get a few people who genuinely love them rather than 1000's of subs.

Here is a pretty cool little NML vid - I was testing the song and someone else wanted to see this particular start, but the song wont play on mobile devices so it's perfect for here :)

About the best start you can do on the 3 main points - ammo, kills and time.

It's maybe 2 seconds down, and up to 3 kills down although I'd say only 1.

One day I will explain all that has been discovered about NML but a lot is still our best guesses with no proof.

For instance if your first grenade goes off before the 45 second buzzer or doesn't hit 20 zombies, the first spawn after the PAD nade is always slow.  Or 95% of the time.

Inversely, if it goes off after the buzzer and hits all 20, it will always be a fast spawn but rarely will the spawn that goes up onto the PAD be a full 20.  The 3rd spawn after the 2nd nade is rarely more than 15...it seems it can only be more if you kill less than 20 on the spawn before......and it goes on and on.

In the last few weeks?

Putting the game disc in.

I'm kinda curious to see just how I'd do having absolutely zero play time on CoD period since the holidays.

I didn't play for 4 months. It was only a little rough, mostly it seemed to have given me the break i needed to get my zombie joy back.

Good luck!

I rarely play the survival maps, i should have been using double xp on ghosts, but i played Town survival, died on 25, then realized it was my new high round (from 24, ha).

I was trying to get better at using m+s without phd. Basically i killed myself most times.

Also, I got the origins asmb on round 28, zapping zombies with the lightning staff and punching their floating half-bodies. Kind of intense.

Origins Only:

1500 Headshots in a 4 player game.

Pack a punch round 5 solo.

Over Round 40 in a 4 player game with less than 5 downs.

0 downs to Round 30 in a 4 player game.

Solo Round 50 No Staff's

I haven't played zombies in a while but those were since the last I played.

  • 3 weeks later...

Just hit 42 on Five with a random on Xbox.

We didn't use mics, yet seemed to have great chemistry knowing what each other wanted to do. First 30 rounds took a hour, but the next 12 needed 3 1/2 hours. I was dead tired and had to call it quits on 41.

My high is 45 on PSN, but I was pretty much carried. This one I earned.
