Voice Actors?

Do we know who the O4 voice actors are in Origins? Some sound the same but some sound different. Is Richtofen really Nolan North or someone else?

Yes, Edward is still voiced by Nolan North. You're just not used to hearing Edward in his normal tone of voice. All of the boys are voiced by the same actors as always.

Weird, yeah. Sam has always had added auto-tune to her voice so maybe it has been difficult to really hear how she has always sounded.

One theory that I have suggested is that there are two Samanthas. The first one (in ending cutscene) died around the end of WW1, and the second one was born in the late 1930s in a more German climate as Ludwig wanted his daughter back. He even got her a dog with the same name (but a German Shepherd instead of a beagle). All of this explains Richtofen's age during the main events of the zombie storyline. It is an unlikely theory, but not impossible by any means.

I think that's a great theory! Maybe a Sam brain transplant explains things too. She could also be the same age in WW 1 and 2 with that theory

Struck me as odd when I first heard it. I was used to her German accent from WAW-BOI. Kinda prefer it, really. Just for variety's sake.

In origins one of the audio files says: maxis had no idea he even had a "daughter", so there was no Sam. Before ww1....

OR... Samantha was never really Maxis' legitimate daughter.

The map takes place in WW1, maxis has no idea who this girl is until now, when she starts calling him her father.... Meaning Samantha was in no way relation to maxis before this map, or before ww1.

If maxis were to escape argotha in a new body with sam, this still doesn't explain richtofen's age in the cutscene....
