Attention! Attention! Zombie fans!

The end is nigh. As the final hours to the release of one of the most anticipated maps in Zombies history, it is my pleasure to create a list of zombie essential info that you will need to survive.

Expert zombie slayers have recently done a recon tour of the new map in France and have come back BARELY alive. Their success and failures will fuel us to victory!

So let us begin.

*please note: I will note be describing the map. I will merely be giving direction and info. Thank you.

The Generators

You may have heard of these generators from the achievements. They are basically the big machine we saw from the cinematic and must be powered up to restore power to a location. This replaces the Power Switch. Also, during this time, The rumored Crusader zombies will appear. They are a tough kill on early rounds, even harder on higher rounds. They seem to have the health of a zombie that is around 2-3 rounds higher. Restore the power to the generators and all crusaders die. You will also be rewarded with a prize power up.

After a while, the crusaders will attack these generators. Kill the head zombie (The one with a swirl icon) to end the attack. You must then reacquire whatever time was taken IE filling up the bar from the point that the crusaders took it to.

Digging

This one is as it says. We can dig at specific spots using a shovel. You can LITERALLY receive ANYTHING from these digs. Pretty easy. There is one in spawn to start.

The mother*cking giants

This one is a real killer. These 1000 foot mechs will stomp continuously across the map. There is no way to stop them. If you hear something or see the mechs coming close, get inside. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RUN AWAY. GET TO SHELTER. Another thing I noticed is that when lights in the area light up, it means the mech will stomp there. Another way to avoid being squished is to shoot the under part of the foot. This will lead you to an Air Staff piece.

The Random Perk Machine! (Der Wunderfizz)

Wow. Just...Wow. These beautiful things require power and 1500 points. Once activated and paid, it will give you a random perk. Sounds cool right? Gonna get 20 perks right? Wrong. It can only be used a certain amount of times before moving. Also, it cannot be used after you have 4 perks.

The Signs

So Treyarch has been trying to implement this for a while. But you really need it for this map. Watch the signs for directions to get to places and you will do just fine.

The Chest of Souls

Chests are set up all over the map. Simply kill zombies near it to fill it up. However, there is a time limit. You must kill a certain amount of zombies near it before a Giant steps on it to recieve the final reward: A melee weapon.

ZOMBIE BLOOD

These nifty little power-ups can save your life. They will make you see red like zombies do. You will then become invincible. You become a zombie from another persons view.

The Mark IV tank

This amazing upgrade from the bus system basically fixed what was bad about the bus. This beast of a tank will ride around the map. At certain intervals, it will cool down. When it is ready, it will allow you to actually tell it when to go.

Zombie Challenges

At the beginning of the game, a small board above where you get the zombie blood after powering the generator, will have a list of challenges. Complete the challenges to recieve a token. Take the tokens to these boxes for prizes.

New type of skin. To activate, simply activate all 115 generators. it is located at the top of the dig site. NOTE: Every so often (beginning on round 10) Templar zombies will appear and attempt to take back the generator. Kill them or the generator will fail and they will attack another. You must reactivate the generator to use PAP again.

The Air Staff

-Gramaphone disc: Located around the area of Stamin-up

-Staff top: Located inside a robot (Shoot the foot as it comes down in an area to gain access inside)

-Air Stone: Go to the Crazy Place VIA Wind entrance from near juggernog

The Ice Staff (NOTE: YOU MUST DIG WHEN IT IS SNOWING)

-Gramophone disc: Located inside the Tank Station

-Staff top: Buried (Requires shovel)

-Staff middle: Buried

-Staff end: Buried

-Ice Stone: Go to the Crazy place VIA Ice entrance from Cathedral and Generator 6

The Fire Staff

-Gramophone disc: Located near Generator 6

-Staff top: Activate Generator 6

-Staff middle: Kill a Panzer Soldat

-Staff end: Shoot down a glowing plane.

-Fire stone: Go to the Crazy place VIA Fire entrance by spawn

The Lightning Staff

-Gramophone disc: Located near Juggernog; sometimes spawns in mineshaf

-Staff top: Cathedral (Requires tank; go to the right and jump onto a ledge)

-Staff middle: Dig site (tank accessible only)

-Staff end: While riding the tank, look to your right. A platform you can jump on will be just around the corner.

-Lightning stone: Enter the Crazy place VIA the entrance near Stamin-up

>>>>HOW TO BUILD THE ULTIMATE STAFF!

How to make the Ultimate Lightning staff

Step 1. At the Crazy Place there are pink triangles in the lightning zone. These act as a keyboard.

Step 2. To the left of the triangles are 3 treble clefs, which show the order in which to shoot the keyboard, you will have to shoot the 3 keys in 3 different orders. If you do it right the sparks on the triangles will disappear when you walk away from them.

Step 3. Back in the main map there are 7 panels which will be sparking. On each one there is a knob which will have to be turned until the panel stops sparking.

Locations of Panels:

1.In the destroyed house with the generator inside,(in the opposite corner to the claymores)

2. To the right of the tank exit in the church

3. On the top floor of the church at the end.

4. In the destroyed house near Juggernog

5. In the Spawn room opposite the audio log

6. To the far right of the MP40 in the bunker

7. On the wall on the side of the dig site mound

Step 4. There are 4 levers in the staff chamber, which turn the huge 4 parted cylindrical machine

Step 5. Turn the machine so that all the purple stones are lined up

Step 6. go to the bottom of the chamber, look up and shoot the purple orb

Step 7. Return to the Crazy place, insert the lightning staff into the lightning pedestal

Step 8. Kill zombies around the pedestal

Step 9. Pick up and enjoy

How to build the Ultimate staff of Wind

Step 1.Put the lights above the air area in the crazy place in the right order

Step 2.There are 3 circular chimneys around the map that need to be shot with the Air Staff.

Locations of Chimneys:

1. Between generator and destroyed house by Juggernog

2. In the field past the generator in the destroyed house, to the right

3. Near Juggernog

Step 3. There are 4 levers in the staff chamber, which turn the huge 4 parted cylindrical machine

Step 4. Turn the machine so that all the yellow stones are lined up

Step 5. go to the bottom of the chamber, look up and shoot the yellow orb

Step 6. Return to the Crazy place, insert the air staff into the air pedestal

Step 7. Kill zombies around the pedestal

Step 8. Pick up and enjoy

How to build the Ultimate staff of Fire:

Step 1. To the left hand side of the fire area there is some hexagonal barrels, where you should kill some zombies near until all of them are lit

Step 2. (I'm very unsure about this part, if someone could help thank you), In the church there are numbers on the pillars with torches above them. On the top floor of the church there are some lights which when deciphered by using a code will tell you how many times to shoot each torch with the fire staff and in which order

Step 3. There are 4 levers in the staff chamber, which turn the huge 4 parted cylindrical machine

Step 4. Turn the machine so that all the red stones are lined up

step 5. go to the bottom of the chamber, look up and shoot the red orb

Step 6. Return to the Crazy place, insert the fire staff into the fire pedestal

Step 7. Kill zombies around the pedestal

Step 8. Pick up and enjoy

How to build the Ultimate staff of Ice

Step 1. in the Crazy Place, in the ice area there is a bright blue stone with a symbol on it, this will match with one of the stones above the ice area, you need to shoot the right stone with the ice staff, then the symbol on the bright blue stone will change and you need to repeat the process

Step 2. Go back to the main map and there will be 3 tombstones, which you need to freeze with the ice staff and then shoot with a normal gun.

Tombstone Locations:

1. Near Juggernog, where the boot stomps

2. Round the back of the excavation mound

3. Infront of the giant robot hand at the tank stop.

Step 3. There are 4 levers in the staff chamber, which turn the huge 4 parted cylindrical machine

Step 4. Turn the machine so that all the blue stones are lined up

Step 5. go to the bottom of the chamber, look up and shoot the blue orb

Step 6. Return to the Crazy place, insert the ice staff into the ice pedestal

Step 7. Kill zombies around the pedestal

Step 8. Pick up and enjoy

-Maxis Drone: This acts like a patrol. It will shoot zombies in its vicinity.

-Zombie shield: The standard zombie shield. Use on back for maximum protection

How to Upgrade-

Dig anywhere from 30 to 50 graves to obtain the golden shovel. (I took note of the quantity over the course of five games. There is no exact number.) There is an audio que and the shovel will appear next to you points will now be gold. All four players can get the golden shovel.

Golden Helmet-

After receiving the golden shovel, dig up to 20 additional graves and you will receive the golden helmet. The same audio que is heard and the icon will appear next your golden shovel. When wearing the Golden Helmet, the player is immune to the Giant Robots. The player will be slightly stunned for a moment after they have been stepped on, but other than that they will not do any damage.

Perk Boost-

Use your golden shovel while in zombie blood to dig up the glowing orange mounds. You will uncover what appears to be an empty perk bottle. The drop gives you the ability to pick up an extra perk. The spot will be available for the remainder of the game.

Fun Facts and Tips-

-Zombies that are dug up do not have souls and can't not be used to fill up chests.

-Hold off on digging any graves until it starts snowing. Having all dig spots spawned in will give you a higher probability of collecting ice staff pieces. It is possible to obtain all three on the same level.

-There is only one glowing mound on the map at a time, they don't change from zombie blood to zombie blood. So if you get a zombie blood, check as many places as possible and if they are not there, don't check that spot during the next zombie blood because it will not be there

-The next mound does not spawn in until the next zombie blood drop

Dr. Ludvig Maxis: The ancient text describes an artifact known to them as the Aprification rod. It is my firm belief item

is instrumental to harnessing the energy of the Elemental stones. Unfortunately, neither the rod, nor the stones, have

been recovered from any of our dig sites. I feel we must push forward regardless. As such, I have drawn up plans to

make replica rods based on the descriptions from the main chamber. I will instruct Richtofen to begin fabrication

immediately.

energy fields, which appear to function as portals, bringingforth objects of indeterminate origin. It is my hypothesis,

answer may lay with the broken rune stones, located at the mound. Perhaps channeling sufficient energy into the

*inaudible* generators, to their location, may prove fruitful.

Noire. To our astonishment, as we listened to the first few bars of music, the seal itself began to open. I can not help but wonder if other such recordings may similarly reveal other areas of the catacombs.

The musical EE: Archangel

Simply find three green glowing chunks of Element 115

-One is in the starting room on a crate

-Another is in the Tank station near where you can exit to go to no mans land.

-Third: Far left of the Monolith; Around the gangplanks

Second EE Song: Shepard of Fire

Find three radio logs with red lights

-One is on a gangplank in the lower part of the Main Chamber. It is en route and near where a possible spawn location of the Rotor for the Maxis Drone is.

-Another is inside the Middle Mech.

-The final one is inside the Crazy Place near Lightning

*UPDATE* A THIRD EE SONG WAS FOUND!: AETHER (credit goes to zombie city z)

-simply go to generator 1 and hold X on both 1s on each side. Then go to Generator 5 and hold X on a 5. 115.

Just like to point out that the Demonic Announcer is not Samantha, confirming she is not in any way control of the zombies. No idea on how to explain the eyes, perhaps an inconsistency on Treyarch's part (and yes I'm aware of how unlikely that is).

Also, Nikolai does not appear to be drunk as he talks much more well-versed than his later appearances, and Richtofen is shown to be *somewhat* insane.
