Perk-A-Coctail!

Recommended Posts

If they will add a new perk that involves somehow helping the player from getting downed I will buy a ticket to USA, go to treyarch and kill the geuy who got the idea of adding another worthless perk! Don't get me wring I would be ok with that, but for like ever, I have been wanting a perk that let's you rebuild barriers faster. WE NEED A PERK LIKE THAT!!!!!

I see where you guys are coming from and yes, the perk I have envisioned would be realted to player downing, but it wouldn't register as a down, so it's good for keeping your stats in line.

How about an Engineer perk that lets your rebuild barriers and assemble buildables in half the time and also grants you one extra lethal/tactical/non-buildable equipment. I.e., I have monkey bombs, frags, and claymores...When I buy the perk I get an extra one of each AND any Max Ammo picked up refills that count with the extra one added in.

What I'd like to see is either a perk that allows you to spawn a random power-up (with a limit of like 3 uses per game) or a perk that increased your ammunition capacity. ;o

Ammo Capacity=Great Idea

Extra Tonic

While perk is active every 100 points gained refills 10 bullets. This would be THE most epic perk of all, probably have to make it the most expensive too, say 8000?

It shouldn't cost that much.It should cost 2000 like all the other perks. Take for example a Pack a Punched RPd. It's ammo capacity is 125/750. So 875 bullets. Divide by 10.... It would take 8750 points to refill the whole gun.Of course on solo it's a peice of cake but on like 4 player it's kinda long.

Granted, I see what you mean, but players could manipulate such a perk if it were tied into points. i.e., I'll just melee kill to refill my bullets.

2000 is out of the question because it would be far too easy to get at low rounds when melee kills are still relatively easy to get. We must make it expensive, at least as expensive as the Knucks if not more so the player can't just get Knucks and then melee kill to load up on ammo.

Another way around this is to cap the ammo, so it just refills instead of adding to the overall capacity. Then I could see a low cost being valid, but with my idea I would put no limit to the amount of rounds that could be achieved through the perk but definitely make the perk expensive.

Not really feeling the idea. But I do like the combo ideas.

I think it could work with certain combinations enhancing things like MMX has done, except it involves the separate perks and weapons are included. All components must be met to receive the temporary assistance. If you change a component, than you lose the assistance. Simple.

Examples:

Deadshot

Stamin-Up

Double Tap 2

Any Sniper

Headshot Multiplier is doubled.

(And if the Sniper was changed for something other than a Sniper, than it's not a complete combination, and you would not get it's effect until you had a Sniper again.)

Quick Revive

Tombstone Soda

Who's Who

Current weapons appear in Who's Who, Krauss Refibrillator aims perfectly straight, so easier to use and does not arc.

Double Tap 2

Ballistic Knife

Galvaknuckles/Bowie/Sickle

Melee damage is increased (So instead of OHK's till Round 14, it's till Round 16 for example).

PhD Flopper

Any Explosive Device (China Lake, LAW, RPG, etc)

Explosive damage improved

Mule Kick

Speed Cola

Switching weapons is instant (like swapping to a pistol speed)

Just some quick examples. I would imagine some 4-perk combo ones, many without Jug to see if people will give up Juggernog to for other effects.

I think a machine could be made, something like the Perk-A-Cocktail. And it would have its own design, mostly white. It would have two roulettes on it, where it would make a mixture of two perks. I think that would be a good way to incorporate the bundles.

Also, Speed Cola does make you rebuild faster.

very quick sketch :)

Looks cool, but you've only got 6 on the roulettes. Also, I imagined they'd rotate in the ZY plane rather than the XY plane, like the casino game where you try to get three 7's.
