Sliquify the radio tower?

Has anyone tried to sliquify the radio tower by the dragons? I was thinking this would help Edward eliminate Maxis' ability to talk to the crew. I would test this myself, but I don't have the map pack yet.

sliquifier and power reminds me very much of ghostbusters where they use the positively charged slime to animate the statue of liberty.

Anyone tried to sliquify the main elevator?

I haven't tried to sliquify the main elevator but this is something I thought about: Maybe you can get on top of the freight elevator?

There's a key at the bottom to send it back up. Maybe you leave one person there and the others run back up. once they're there, you reset the elevator and jump on top.
