Leader board "Gibs"

Gibs is a stat on the leader boards page that neither I or any of my friends understand, some help would be greatly appreciated. Ty.

a 'gib' is a attack of a denizen, every time a denizen scretches you u will get a gib in the leaderboard.

i u look at ur stats, the picture of the gibs leaderboard is actualy the denizens claws.

This is the correct answer, although exploding a zombie is also considered "gibbing". Has nothing to do with Denizen attacks.

A map mechanic of lava was incorporated in the zombie franchise, assisting in the creation of gibs. Lava causes zombies to catch ablaze. Incinerated zombies befallen by a headshot will explode creating a giblet Smörgåsbord. Exploding Zombies in a herd will cause surrounding zombies to offer more gibs to your leaderboard stats.

I think there is something wrong with the Emblems/Leaderboards. Just a while ago, I got to Round 39 and had at least 2000 Kills 1300 Headshots. I'm ranked at 230 in the Tranzit Mode but I still have the Blue-Eyed Skull with Dagger. The #1 Player still has the Emblem you first have. WTFM?

I might be wrong but I believe that emblem relates to how active of a player you are. If you were to go offline for a week then it's possible that you would drop back down to bones. When you have the full emblem then it's possible you see more secrets in game. Or maybe it's related to the permanent abilities like quick revive and deadshot. I dunno but it appears your emblem is not necessarily related to having the most kills or what not.

megaton is right, although i didnt check the wiki link, i checked the actual gameplay cause thats the only legit way to get info 'bout the game... i blew off some arms and i did have more 'gibs' in the leaderboard.

Gibs were actually, if I remember correctly, part of the WaW leaderboards if you looked at the leaderboards on the website. So the gib counter isn't really anything new.

I think the first time I saw "gibs" was back in the quake3arena days and it meant the same thing. Blowing off limbs or blowing your opponent into pieces meant you got "gibbed"
