I'm guessing no. Whith this new "credit" thing getting highly trusted it would more or less defeat the purpose of Specialist, because you can just use more credits for more perks.

^Flak Jacket Icon^

Oh i never thought of that! If there is no specialist there will be a LOAD more of assault streaks around. They might bring it back as an option only if you have 3 perks or less, i dunno.

And if they leave out support and specialist then thats kind of good because if IW use the strike packages in there next cod it'll be something different from what we will be using in BO2.

Here we see every create a class in the trailer, well, everyone I spotted, anyway.

I'm going to use one as an example of the layout.

From this, we see many things.

Primary

Weapon

3 Attachments Max

Secondary

Weapon

2 Attachments Max

Perks

2 of each tier Max (6 in total)

Equipment

2 Lethal Max

2 Tactical Max

????????

Unknown

This is probably the final template for the game's create a class. Seeing empty slots in some screen caps further proves the credit feature.

For those of you who are not familiar, the credit feature was included in a big leak a while back. Basically, this game's create a class gave you a certain amount of credits to use for weapons, perks, attachments, etc. A good example of this is the "MostlyUseMeBlade" screen capture. instead of using credits for a primary weapon, he uses them all on perks to aid him in probably speed, agility, etc.

The next question is the cost for each.

There must be one for the following:

Perk

Weapon

Attachment

Equipment

(Possibly the thing on the bottom)

Next topic is WHAT IS THE BOTTOM 3 RECTANGLES?

They can't be killstreaks, because if they were they would match with the portraits on the player's HUD, which in most cases they don't.

That's all I got for now. Let me know what you think the 3 rectangles are.

I'm not fully sure on what the bottom rectangles are, but I think they may be equipment, not primary/secondary grenades, but more like BO. I'd expect to see things like riot shields, motion sensors, and body armor there.

Yeh, i agree. We never seen any of them use motion sensors/jammers/tac inserts so thats probably the slot for them.

One more thing to note is that when the player destroys the dragonfire they don't get anything towards their next killstreak so does that mean we won't have point streaks like in MW3?

It's possible that they just haven't added the pop up text for that yet.

I'm don't think anyone has noticed but the MOAB IS BACK :D Look at 2:04 in the video. The commentator says "Tosses out one shock charge and the second CAN HE GET A MOAB!!!" So it seems like it has been confirmed... YAY

Sorry man, but he says 'Can he get em both' not 'can he get the MOAB'. :(

 That's a shame (I've never even got a MOAB  ) OH WELL The game is still (IMO) going to be one of the best so far :) At of what I've seen so far it is... Thanks for saying!

So perhaps there are 6 perks boxes because we're still going to be able to upgrade to the pro version.

Also, Fu453s picture shows the usp45(?) with a tac/throwing/stun knife?

And, in some of the pictures, the boxes at the bottom show different perspectives of a players character. Maybe we can customise their appearance now?

Tomahawks!!!

As far as I can see, you can have up to 6 perks at one time. Two of each colour. But it's up to you how many you assign. Looks as though that Podcast Leak was telling the truth!

You know, I think TmarTn summed everything up pretty well. I'd check out his video.

That's a KAP-40 (It's in the E3 footage) and I believe that's a tactical knife, yes.

EDIT: Forget the cost for each thing for create a class. I've realized that every create a class has 10 icons each. So that must mean each is 1 credit, leaving 10 in total.

About the create-a-class i remember a leak info saying that primary was 3 and most over stuff is 1. And in TmarTn's video he says about the bottom box's being special armour/ customize clothing.

Also panic knifing hopefully has been gotten ride of, since i love running around with my knife getting streaks and then in the end gettting paniced knifed. Also it will make ever encounter more of a gun fight other than who can knife quicker.

Face Camo, looks like its back, as seen some in the Dolphin Diving seen.

Also even if right now we think something is overpowered, it will have its weakness' and i dont think they will let anything be OP

Maybe a confuse ray or something. Disorientates your enemies? This is a killsteak.

I believe this new piece of equipment is going to be a portable Active Denial System.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Active_Denial_System

It's basically a giant microwave gun used for crowd control.

- MixMasterNut

Hahaha, oh Mix me and you just think alike ;) . I posted pretty much that same thing on page 3, but there's so many recent replies on this thread it got passed up quick. It's funny how our posting habits are so similar sometimes.

Shock charges! And what's that heatwave thing?

It's not a heatwave, it omits a sound-wave that disorients. They actually have them in use for riots and military.

Ahh yes, you are correct sir. I'm really glad they decided to use the Active Denial System:

"The Active Denial System (ADS) is a non-lethal, directed-energy weapon developed by the U.S. military, designed for area denial, perimeter security and crowd control. Informally, the weapon is also called the heat ray since it works by heating the surface of targets, such as the skin of targeted human subjects. Raytheon is currently marketing a reduced-range version of this technology.

On August 20, 2010 the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department announced its intent to use this technology on prisoners in the Pitchess Detention Center in Los Angeles, stating its intent to use it in "operational evaluation" in situations such as breaking up prisoner fights. The ADS is currently only a vehicle-mounted weapon, though U.S. Marines and police are both working on portable versions.

The ADS works by firing a high-powered beam of 95 GHz extremely high frequency waves at a target, which corresponds to a wavelength of 3.2 mm. The ADS millimeter wave energy works on a similar principle as a microwave oven."

I like the last paragraph in particular. It's basically a very slow cooking microwave

It makes you feel like your whole body is on fire, but it's only burning through 1/64th of your skin at the most while it's triggered. I could imagine it'd be lethal for extended periods in front of it though.

http://www.dailytech.com/US+Military+De ... e24208.htm

I just watched a show about this awhile back about the newest military weapons, and the ADS was one of the weapons featured on the program. I think it's awesome that Treyarch is gonna use this technology in BO2.

I heard CaC 2.0 is going to be based on a ten point system. Sooooo, let's analyze conventional classes. If it is one point for each individual selection, a normal class would be like this:

Primary: one point

Attachment: one point

Secondary: one point

Attachment***: one point

Perk one: one point

Perk two : one point

Perk 3: one point

Equipment (claymores, etc.) one point

Lethal grenade: one point

Tactical: one point

So it adds up to ten, but the catch is that in 2.0 nothing is set in stone so you can customize it more than ever before.

***it is possible that launchers and other secondaries that have no attachments whatsoever will cost 2 points. It is also possible that they will actually integrate attachments into the weapons.

@Electric Jesus

See, like you said nothing is set in stone, so I think that certain weapons/perks may cost 2 points. I doubt that a stand-out gun like the famas in the original Black Ops, if applied here, would be one point. Yet again we don't know, and who knows, there maybe won't be an overpowered "noob" gun. Yet again, you could be right, but i personally wouldn't want the standard set up ;)
