We could make a global announcement or something of that nature. I'm not entirely sure if that would be the best way, however. I could look into it.

The one problem with playdates is that they're lost between posts :( If we can get covert to make it a constant thing on the homepage then maybe where onto something.

Jake: Do you think we could put a reminder on the home page? There would probably be a better turnout if less people forgot. There is a small blank space right above "New Forum Posts" that would be perfect for a small banner.

This is pretty much the case with any thread related to challenges, tournies and teams, they get lost in between posts.If you are interested in it you better know how to find it or subscribe to that topic.

To answer Jake's Question, an alternative is to look at the "Active Topics" rather than going to home page each time you visit CoDz. I always Bump the "Play date" and "Tournament" topics before they start 100% of the times just to make sure they are communicated. I normally change them to [online now] just to know that the game is in progress. Also all play dates are on Saturday afternoons. How hard is it to remember that. A Global announcement like you guys said makes sense , a moving text (marquee) indicating that the play date is in progress or is going to start in an hour.. But I doubt it will be implemented. If that's not possible I can message every one that has applied for pla ydate. The problem is that its off season and boring to do the same zombie runs which is why i suggested challenges. Probably a round 20 challenge pistols only or some sort will get people interested in joining.

Edit: I agree, challanges like shotguns, pistol, no box challenge are all good ideas to keep people interested
