im pissed how could they not have a jingle for mule kick when they have a jingle for all 7 other perks. this is deplorable. even tho sound cant travel in space and the perk machine is outside, that is a lazy excuse not to write a jingle for it. RAGEEE!!!

You even said why there isn't a jingle. What's the point of making a jingle if there's no air to hear it.

That would be like building a building then tearing it down when you have more important things to do. Basically it would be a waste of time when you could make the map better.

Don't worry though on CoD 9 it will probably get a jingle.

here's where that argument is invalid. if you depressurize any of the lab areas or tunnels or biodome etc, the perk machines in there still play their jingle even though it is now in a vacuum. also in a tru vacuum they wouldnt be able to hear the gun fire even in a muffled state. the only sounds when exposed to the vacuum of space should be the characters voices through your space helmet.

its just curious that they didnt make one because that has been kind of the staple of each new perk would be a new jingle for it.

oh well

I don't know this because I'm on PS3. But my reason is still valid - no air equals no jingle BUT it would make more work to make a trigger on every window or excavator to stop the jingles. But it's probably just an oversight.

Round 1 to me!

The moon still has an atmosphere, so sound can travel a bit through it. Also, the sound vibrations would travel from the machine to the moon surface to your suit if you were near it. So you would definitely still hear something.

In the game if you take your helmet off outside you can still hear things. So it's not that there is no 'air'. There is just not enough oxygen to breath.

Actually the moon has no atmosphere whatsoever. It's a big vacum.

sorry but it does, its not very big, infact it is only a few layers, unlike earths which is miles, the moon probaly metres, even centermetres

Evebn with that though, it would problay not give enought particals for the sound to vibrate to you so unless you where actually touching the speakers, or a radio signal was give out then you wouldn't hear it.
