31-79 jgb215 ticking noise?

Sorry in advance if anyone has posted this before, but I was trying out my new Turtle Beaches on Shangri La and noticed that the 31-79 was giving off this really weird ticking noise? It sounded like a clock, but really fast. Does anyone know why it does this?

you may just be hearing the PaP timer counting down. I just finished a game while using the JGB and i didnt hear it (i have surround sound headset as well)

I think I can answer this one. I use Triton AX Pro's and hear it whenever I get the JGB. I believe it's the fin/wing metal bits on the side clicking as they move up and down. Like the machinery moving them. I hope that made sense, it probably wasn't the best explanation.

I got the AX720's. They are 5.1. Yours are 7.1 true. not much of a difference. but maybe i just didnt have the sound loud enough, or i was concentrating on the zombies
