Those orbs are a symbol. They represent how far you are into the easter egg. If you knife the gongs around the map, they light up. If you shoot the gongs with the new baby maker gun, they actually link together with a laser. In order to link all four, you need to complete the easter egg parts until you see four of those orbs. Hope this helps.
