Elephant noises linked to zoo?

I dont explore too often in multiplayer and the other day i thought that i saw a elephant exhibit in zoo. is there an easter egg in the elephant display that has to do with CotD possibly?

It has to do with the new wonder weapon the shrink ray

Personally, i believe the noise is made because the EE is the 'Elephant in the Room' i.e. it's quite obvious that the Characters are there once you know it, but until then it's not so obvious.

Just my take on things, but i really don't see how it is linked to the Shrink Ray?
