Fog horns

so, these round things in the ground that are allover the map, when you press the use button, they make a foghorn noise, any thoughts on this?

only thing i can think of is just a little easter egg, possible effecting what/when weather hits and for how long.

So do the Number dials in the light house.

As the number increases so does the pitch.
