ok ive been thinking for a while about the new map. i have two ideas, one being the map based off the mission THE DEFECTOR. if you look around the whole area of the mission, it clearly screams ZOMBIES at you. cracked walls, blood stains, meesed up rooms etc. i think that most of us think the same. plus its set in vietnam, so vietnamese zombies sounds cool. my other idea is that the map DISCOVERY will be the new map. it seems like a really good place to put zombies in and when i was looking around the map i found a POWER SWITCH that looked like the one from zombies at the back of the map. that gave me a good idea to think this. so what do we think? DISCOVERY OR THE DEFECTOR?

do you want to know why you found a power switch that looks just like the one in the zombies game mode?

because in-game models can be incredibly hard to create and even harder, to skin.

It saves treyarch weeks of time by using models and skins(in this case the power switch) in maps, for example all of the code and modeling and skinning for the rocket that you see in Ascension, that is ALL taken from the one on launch

2. why would zombies be in Vietnam? provide a believable back story and I might just believe you

But without a back story, there is no reason why zombies would be set in Vietnam. There is no element 115 there(which created the zombies), Vietnam is a country that cant afford a rigorous secret weapons division, because that costs unmeasurable amounts of money which vietnam doesn't have

the US, Russia, and Nazi Germany DID have that kind of money at there disposal

You are retarded. In game models take about 5 hours to draw (for a big model, like the rocket in Ascension, which is different from the one in Launch, as it is bloody and Zombie like), 20 min to program, and about 10 seconds to place in the game. The power model could take like 1 hour 30 min to draw, 15-20 min to program it if it is using specific design charicteristics (i.e. useable, destroyable, moveable, etc., etc.) Think before you speak, it helps a lot ;)
