You're right, they did come from the video. But think about it.

Germans (like me) on this forum know what Der Leuchtturm translates to:

Ascension was first.

We take a rocket or lander to the Moon.

Fight up there. Take the rocket again.

We crash land into the water outside Der Leuchtturm.

The last one should sound VERY familiar to americans.

i dont think there are any other rockets just laying around on ascension

actually there are literally rockets LAYING all over ascension. they are in pieces granted, but theres cranes just outside the map which were shut down and can assemble the rocket pieces.
