So why he tried to kill Samantha and how he tried to do it?

It seems he got trapped some where just like Samantha.

And he wanted our 4 heroes to help him to rescue himself or to destroy Samantha.

When you make the easter egg and the light ball rise up do you think its Yuri or is it Samantha?

Thats fair... he says he's free, but he doesn't say he's leaving.. Which could conclude you so to say, excorsised samantha from the area which procurred his own freedom, but at the same time reluctantly setting samantha free to bring terror to the world instead of limited and small interactions with the current characters of the story.

Maybe now being able to take her corporeal form?

I was under the impression that Yuri was dead. The ball of light was his spirit being freed or whatever.

It would explain the whole "disembodied voice" deal, which by the character's quotes isn't coming from some speaker, but it is in fact them hearing a voice.

Yeah, but maybe we can help Samantha in same way in the future maps so she could go rest and not hunt people as evil spirit.
