Was the "secret" to Der Riese ever found?

I used to be obsesed with the forums and would spend hours looking aroun the map with my mate for the "secret" room or how to "unlock Der Riese". But nothing was ever found and then there was the storm of Mw2 and now the hype of cod BO. So what happened? Did everyone just give up or did Crop Circles or Mikey Saints ever found out?

I can 100% tell you there is not a secret room. However to me it looks like they either wanted to add on to the map or just goofing around. (like they did with all the brownings under Verrückt)

I have a screenshot of under Der Riese that wasn't found by noclipping, I'll see if I can find it.

Funny you should mention that, I was reading the game files from PC. Those guns are refered to as "the real MGs" script also covers the hidden fountain MG.

Will post and highlight all relevant scripts in a few days.

There's a room that was never finished and removed from the game, presumably last minute. It's that small area caged off by Juggernog. The door leads to the door by C and there are windows that can be used as zombie windows. MY guess is that it was the room of the fabled Amm-O-Matic
