  1. I still have PS3 and BO! and BO2 on it. The problem is that for some reason those games lag like hell so it's not really enjoyable... If the problem is my PS3, getting a brand new one costs 200€ in my country at least and getting an used PS3 you might end up getting the same problem.
  2. This is something I must agree with. You just can't go in a BO3 map with randoms (The Giant being an exception). It really requires everyone to have a mic and understanding of the map mechanics and what they should do. In BO1 I used to play with randoms quite a lot, in BO2 not that much and in BO3 basically not at all. It would be cool to get a few remastered BO1 or even WAW maps in BO3 with gobblegums and such, just to have maps that are simple to pick up and play without having to think too much.
  3. I miss BO1 more than BO2, but that's mainly cause I played zombies so much during BO1 and for some reason most of the BO2 maps didn't appeal to me as well as BO1 zombies maps. BO2 had MOTD and Origins which i think are both in Top 5 zombie maps easily, but then the lack of good maps in general makes BO1 a bit better IMO. Also what I miss is the simplicity and the feeling that all these side quests were optional. Now it's just all too tedious and every game you play in a certain map starts the same way... You wanna get things done in early rounds when it's easier, but it makes everything so tedious and boring ugh... Like getting the pack-a-punch in SOE or the bows in DE or ZNS the whole ******* map.
  4. I can't decide if I want Infinite warfare + COD4 remaster or Battlefield 1 The reason is I really like these "historical" war games that goes back to WW1 and WW2 era... I also happened to like BO3 game mechanics suprisingly much. But I think it's time to get a more traditional game rather than futuristic space battles. But to make this decision harder Infinity Warfare is going to have zombies which is something I'm really interested in. Also COD4 is the first Call Of Duty I've played so would be nice to play the remaster just for the nostalgia. And for those who say "Why not get both"... I'm a poor student... I can barely afford one game :/
  5. I liked the bonus season pass owners got. I got HG-40 from the weapon drop :) also the new contract system and "win 75 matches" to get another bonus are nice additions and make the whole supply drop thing a bit less tedious imo. And from the new weapons the FFAR and L4 Siege are the ones that seems interesting.
  6. So I guess it's not double liquid divinium as well? Oh well gladly I like BO3 multiplayer quite much too :) just hoping to get one of the supply drop weapons...
  7. Although I'm excited to see what they're up to, I still think they should have gone different way and leave zombies to Treyarch. I really liked the special ops missions in Modern Warfare 2 and I think they should have done that in infinite warfare too. I'm not saying the zombies mode they're making is going to be bad, but as I'm pretty sure that it's different from Treyarch zombies, I'm not gonna like it as much. But oh well... we'll just have to wait and see what's coming ;)
  8. Welcome to CODZ! Hope to see you in the forums :) If you wanna play just pm me :)
  9. Ooh this ones pretty cool :) Samanthas Lullaby is one of my favorite music pieces in COD zombies so it's always nice to hear it return :) Isn't Samanthas Lullaby also in Nuketown zombies? This would make ZNS the fourth map to feature Samanthas lullaby

    Camos

So... I've been working on getting some camos and I'd really like to get the Diamond camo on Assault Rifles. The problem is the long shot medals you're required to get... I get one long shot medal in maybe 3 games which makes it really frustrating to play about 30 games just to get that final challenge done to get the gold for each of the AR. So do you have any tips how to actually get long shots more frequently, maybe which map is the easiest to do long shots etc...
  11. It's not wrong to like these more complicated maps over the simple ones we had in the old games. After all it's just everyones own personal preference and opinion which they like more :) I actually played Der Eisendrache today and I was going to upgrade the bow, but the wolf glitched out so I couldn't finish it :P so i just decided to go for upgraded HVK and ICR and see how it goes and I got to round 29 with my brother but then I kinda lost the mood and we just quit the game. But the point here is that you don't actually need the bow to get to higher rounds on DE although the bows make it a lot easier. I must agree with you that BO3 so far has been much better and solid than BO1 or BO2 was... ZNS is the only one I dislike cause I'm getting a GC_Spawn_Error around round 25 so it kinda ruins it for me... And Der Eisendrache is actually maybe turning into my favorite map of all time :D
  12. Well I have played ZNS a couple of times and not yet bothered to use the plants more than just a few trys of how they work... It would be better if you only had to water it once and then wait 3 rounds for it to grow. Anyways I think I'm not gonna play ZNS for a while cause out of maybe 6 games I've played everytime I have made it past round 20 there's an "SpawnErrorGC: fake entitities" or something like that (can't remeber what excactly it was) and it's kinda annoying since the map takes a lot of time to get set up :/
  13. I also miss the simplicity cause... back in BO1 we could just pick up a map and just play. Now when we start the game on BO3 it feels like there's so much you have to do before you can get to just playing trough the rounds. It's kinda cool to have these features, but it gets really tedious if you fail just when you get everything set up and you're ready to go for the high rounds... At least we have The Giant in BO3 which is nice and simple and who knows maybe we get extra survival zombie maps in some of the DLC, but idk. In BO2 already things started to go towards buildables and such, but it never felt like you'd had to do that stuff. The biggest thing I miss is how awesome the Random box once was... Now it literally doesn't have any meaning in the maps :/
  14. Yes I know, but it's just one plant and you can water it using only one bucket of water so you don't have to go back and forth to do it. I was referring more to just using the plants normally (not for the upgrade). They are helpful (at least the one you get from green water) but you can actually survive pretty well without using them.
  15. I'll share my opinions about the features in this map and just overall how it plays :) Let's start with how the map looks. It's a bit too dark but it makes it creepier and I like creepy maps. Though some places just feel too dark to see where you're going. I like how the map gives a bit Shi No Numa feels :) The power system is a bit annoying I think. You have to put water in the generators to power up half the map for a limited time. To get the power going for the rest of the game you have to have the generators at the same time to open the bunker and turn on the power there... If it was just a simple switch there it'd be fine, but you have to do more stuff that takes time and effort :P The spiders are quite easy though very innovative so that's a good thing. Also the spider boss is kinda cool and not too hard :) The trasher zombies are a bit annoying and the spores. Because it makes you unable to do anything if you breathe the spores. Though it's preventable with the gas mask. Trashers aren't that hard which makes it a bit meh for me :P Random perk locations is nice cause it mixes up things a bit. Doesn't make the map harder but makes it feel a bit more fresh everytime you play it :) The new weapons from the box were a bit miss for me... HP-40 is good, but you can't customize the attachments so... the garand is garbage (at least non paped), and marhals are quite good but not that great compared to other shotguns. The wonder weapon reminds me of sliquifier and is actually pretty cool and useful :) only downside is that it's buildable :P Also the skull is the best "specialist" zombie weapon so far and only one I actually use :) Underwater segments are something I dislike a bit... it's not that bad but I hope they don't use it on future maps cause it's a bit uhgh.. Then there's the plants... Kinda cool, kinda too much effort going to water these every round to get a plant. Gladly they're completely optional and you don't have to use them if you don't want so I'm fine with that :)
  16. My problem with this map is that everything you do needs so much effort it get's a bit meh... I mean if you want to play a high round game but fail on... let's say round 20. You really don't feel like starting up a new game right after... The wonder weapon is actually pretty nice though it reminds quite a lot of sliquifier. And the Skull is the best specialist thingy in zombies so far and actually the only one I bother getting :D.
  17. Has anyone else found the song yet? What are your thoughts about it? EE-song is always one of the most enjoyable things to search for when a new map is released. For me I don't like the song that much... it's a bit boringish as to speak. Maybe it'll get better after multiple listens but well see.
  18. I'll share my thoughts on these. Unbearable actually sounds quite reasonable gobblegum. It's not overpowered, but still it might be useful if you want to keep the box on a certain easy location. The only question is does this activate if another player buys the teddy bear? Fear In Headlights another gum that's useful (maybe it helps too much?). Does the zombies stay where they are only when players are looking at them or do they stay even after the player looks away? Temporal Gift well... this sounds a bit meh... useful yeah but then again how much longer the power-ups stay active and so on... Secret Shopper well if this means you can buy ammo for the box and wonder weapons then this is way too overpowered. If it's just for the wall guns then it's okay.
  19. Well... multiplayer has 18 different perks so it's quite right clear that some of the perks are going to be less useful than the others. I agree that Ante-up could be buffed a bit more. If you think about zombies and gobblegums, some of the gobblegums are useless and really don't stand up against the others. Gladly it's everyones own choice whether or not to use those.
  20. Interesting idea... especially how the use of teleporters and traps would work in multiplayer. I think DE would suite multiplayer better than The Giant though. Giant is such a small map and it's structure is a bit wrong to work as a multiplayer map.
  21. I actually find training quite easy on The Giant. I always train near the power (I've heard it's not the best spot but works for me). I find it almost easier than in BO1 or maybe I'm overall better player now. You should have some kind of "clear the way" weapon like upgraded haymaker which can clear the zombies if you're about to get stuck.
  22. I'm pretty sure the power up is some kind of seed which you can plant at certain places to get a plant trap/whatever. There might be different seeds or maybe the location affects what kind of plant will grow, or it might be completely random. It's definitely not a pufferfish IMO. It could act as a tram fuse too (plant it --> plant will grow --> inside there is a powerup), but I'm not sure if I'd like the idea of that.
  23. That's actually pretty good too. I'm not the best multiplayer player, but I manage to get at least care package in almost every game but with this I could maybe get something better too :D The question is if you earned care package and fail, you lose 200 points but would you then get the package again once you regain those points?
  24. This would be pretty cool when you first think about it. But the problem here is that then everyone would be able to get those good scorestreaks almost every game and it wouldn't even feel awesome to get one... maybe a better boost for ante-up would be like it would give 25% more score? normal kill would be 125 points etc... It would still mean that you have to be a decent player to get to those high scorestreaks but it would make the progress a bit easier.
  25. So for the box, it doesn't offer pretty much anything better than what you can get on the walls in BO3, so making it not move and place it someplace hard, would make me just not go for the box (I rarely do anyways in BO3). But as dlc2 and Zetsubou No Shima is introducing, HP-40, MX Garand and the Marshal, I think they're gonna be put on the box and made a bit better than rest of the guns.
